I'm probably just having a string of bad luck, but has anyone else noticed the Legendary card, and even Epic ones dropping less this expansion? I'm getting one pack a day with quests/gold, and I've only gotten 2 Legendaries so far since release, and epic drop rate seems lower too (although I don't have stats.)
I've never looked into drop rate %. Maybe it's working as intended.
Try getting a different type of pack. That usually means your pity timer for that set just sucks ass so you might as well go for the ones you have better luck with :)
It's all variance, my dude. Personally been having amazing luck with 7 legendary pulls from ~50 assorted packs (maybe my pity timer was close for a bunch of sets?).
I feel the same way. I also open about a pack a day, and i thought it felt like a really long time. but then again, when you only open one a day, and every time expect to get a legendary, it is going to feel like a really long time.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
FWIW here are my pack stats for Year of the Raven. Small sample size, but there is definitely a trend to slower legendaries. Mind you, averaging > 50% of a pity timer is pretty decent if you ask me. Obviously the stats are skewed a little for expansions currently on low Pity Timers, but you get the idea.
This is a pointless question, even if 100 ppl came here and said that they feel the drop rate in legendary cards too, it is still such a tiny sample size, you cannot deduce anything from that. Feel free to share your frustrations, but dont expect any tangible info :)
Feeling the same way. The pack opening after the release of Boomsday was really bad already, but the one of Rasthakan was a desaster.
Since then it feels like the average packs per Legendary is around 30 (I got 5 Legendaries out of 150 packs from the release until today - FU Blizzard).
I decided to do the statistics as soon as the new year begins so that I can say for sure...
My friend and I both bought the recent shop item where we got 10x Witchwood, Boomsday and Rastakhan packs.Neither of us got a single legendary in them.
We now have a joint running total on whatsapp for how many packs it takes for either of us to get one. Currently on 75...
I get that there's a pity timer, but surely, just by the sake of randomness, we should have had one between us by now.

where do you find that information? do you just have to write it down by hand, or is there some site that will track this?

I am pretty sure that it is impossible to go 75 packs with no legendary.
is this number for all your packs. or all your packs from a single set?
each set has its own pity timer, so if you open 20 from one set, 15 from another, 30 from another, and 10 from another, then you could easily go 75 packs without cracking a legendary.

Someone makes a thread like this every expansion. Make sure you stop opening packs from each set when you get a legendary from them, so you are fully using the pity timers.

Yeah, it's been from different sets, but my point isn't that I should have hit the pity timer by now. It's that, by the sake of sheer randomness of the drop rate, I should have had some kind of legendary by now.
If it's easy to go 75 packs without one, that's a pathetic drop rate.

That's my custom designed and built spreadsheet my friend ;)
So with having opened 155 packs of Rastakhans Racket and only getting 5 Legendaries, I tend to assume, that the drop rate has been lowered to every 30th pack.
This means that you would need to buy 22 * 30 + 10 packs (for the first legendary) to get all Legendaries of a set.
This would be 670 packs, that cost at least 781,56 Euro. To get all legendaries in a year of Hearthstone, you need to invest at least 2.344,67 Euro. And I am quite sure, that you won't have all the epics by then.
Well played Bli$$ard. I guess, it's time to come to the decision to enjoy the game as free to play only. Because this amount of money is just ridiculous!

I’m sure it hasn’t, but I opened a ton of packs this expansion and it sure did feel like I got legendaries less often.

I guess luckily (and sadly), there's not much to craft in this poo-nugget expansion!

Try to write down your pack opening stats and you'll soon find out that in the long run they are fine.
Playing Hearthstone in German solely for Garrosh sounds. Sieg oder Tod!
i really hope not, that would be the last nail in the coffin for this already dying game

Control is like Chess - using your given resources wisely.
Aggro is like Russian Roulette - Hope to topdeck the right card/ hope for the opponent to topdeck the wrong card.
Parallels to the IQ of the players of both games are, of course, coincidental ;)

Well, part of it.....
There is a site where you can make stats on your pack openings: https://pitytracker.com
