I almost never see this deck on ladder yet every time I play it I crush every other deck I run up against. Between Brawl, Reckless Fury, Warpath and Blood Razor you have tons of AOE. Execute and Shield Slam give strong single target removal. Hero power, Shield Block and Unidentified Shield give survivability. And with big threats like Sleepy Dragon, Ysera, Lich King, Geosculptor, Dragonhatcher and Grom being cheated out by Woecleaver, Gather Your Party and Boomship you can overpower your opponent easily. And then a copy of DMH adds some consistency in case of unlucky draws.
I’ll admit that my sample size is fairly small (around 40 games) because I don’t have the interest to push for legend again but I’ve almost never had such a good win rate. I find it better than normal CW lists because it can swap to offense quickly, giving you a chance against OTKs and DK Rexxar and Jaina. Does anyone else run this deck? Have you seen similar results to me?
You haven’t even gotten to legend with it. You say you don’t want to try but then you also say you have a really good winrate, so legend should be pretty easy.
Isn't very slow? And if you're playing hunters, they're gonna deadly shot / freeze trap / hunters mark your big one at a time threats, and it then runs out of steam. The minions aren't very sticky, if that makes sense, not like DR paladin or hunter. Maybe people aren't experienced playing against it yet.

I made legend once on an absurdly high win rate with wild secret hunter and it was stressful enough despite it taking less than 100 games from rank 15 to legend. I have no interest in wasting my time doing it again. I merely play for enjoyment and essentially just complete quests. That’s why I’m asking others who have tried it since I’m not willing to put in the time myself but still like the deck.
Without Tank Up, Reckless Flurry is garbage. Play the deck a valid sample size number of times, and you would figure that out.
That’s far from correct. I only run one copy but being able to combo it with Shield Block gives you a 5 damage AOE for 6 mana. Very useful when you’re a deck that essentially does nothing but stall for the first five turns. Play the deck at all and you would see that there’s plenty of times that you can use it efficiently.
I played it a lot during witchwood and first month of boomsday. Over 300 games and easy climbs to legend. I remember it being good against the meta back then. It crushed warlocks, odd pally, and some druids.
I'm not sure how well it works now. I imagine priest might be able to clear all your minions (I ran 8). Hunter might be too fast too, since you really just do nothing and stall until you can start getting the big boys out on turns 6-8. It was definitely fun to pilot so maybe I'll try it again.

Thanks, but I don't' feel like donating stars. Recruit Warrior, even if you build it right, has terrible matchups with both OTK decks andHunter.
You asked a question. Here is your answer. Dismiss it if you want. Keep on living in your fantasy world
The real reason this deck isn't really viable in the current meta is that it has such a low win-rate vs hunter and hunter makes up such a high % of the meta right now. I love playing control warrior but it just hasn't been tier 1 for a long time now.

Don't worry about the sample size. Most people who complain about that sort of thing don't understand what they are talking about. You could play the deck 100 times and you would still get some numpty complaining about sample size. 40 is more than plenty to get a good idea of the deck and its usefulness.
Now on to the focus of your thread: Recruit Warrior. It's always been a good deck, with the right match ups. I don't know about tier 1 - maybe tier 2 right now. The biggest problem is that it may just be a little too slow for the current meta. Combo Priest won't have too much problem with overcoming the armour (they can burst for insane amounts) Meca'thun decks actually benefit from you stalling the game out. Same for most OTK decks really. You will probably do well against aggro as it is a heavy control deck.
Since the current major meta seems to be aggro Hunter (of varying types), this might be a good meta for Recruit Warrior. It sounds like you are having good luck with it, so keep going and have fun! :-)

My question was about the deck. You gave a dismissive answer about one card which I actually responded to, despite you essentially claiming I have no experience playing the deck.

Normal CW suffers this fate but recruit warrior pumps out big threats. Yes, hunter can use Hunter's Mark and Deadly Shot to take out the big threats but with enough board control and big threats, you can overwhelm your opponent unless they get Rexxar early.
You made this tread in order to post your deck? It sucks man. Go on. It is slow and you don't have resources. Can we something new instead of something old bored and bad?
Just gave it a try with a few minor modifications.
So far have played 9 games. Met 8 priests. Made 8 priests cry when they discovered Psychic Scream is garbage against this deck.
Muuuhahahaha!
Pon the downside, though. Met OTK paladin. Got wrecked. :-)
Ignore the naysayers who dont know how to play this deck properly. When run properly (and not expecting it to be easy like Zoolock or Combo Priest) it’s pretty good.
It’s perhaps the only Warrior deck that isnt mind numbingly boring to play at least:-)

I didn't make this list to post my deck. I made it to see if others are running recruit warrior. It's been incredibly successful for me and I see nobody running the archetype anymore. I didn't even have an actual deck made on Hearthpwn until people asked me to post something, I just said the main cards I was using. Not sure why this bothered you so much that you had to go and shoot it down. I'm trying to promote counter-meta decks and encouraging people to branch out past what is currently defined as T1. Take your rudeness elsewhere please...

I have no real data other than looking at some similar decks winrates that are not as heavy but I would need to see some data vs hunter before I say it's not a bad matchup. Hunter is going to hard mulligan for rexar vs warriors anyway.

I'm sure there's some changes that could be made in this list to improve matchups but this is what I've been working with.

My deck was similar.
-2 sleepy dragons +2 gemstudded golem (good to get a wall up early without recruit)
-1 dragon hatcher +1 rotface (Super fun value generator)
-2 unidentified shields +2 direhorn hatchlings (I haven't tried the shields but I love direhorn. Shuffling more big boys into your deck is good.)
-2 slam +2 iron hide (slam is probably better, but iron hide is a good combo with geosculpter, shield slam, and reckless fury.)
-1 dead man's hand. (Good against control, useless against OTK and Agro) +1 charged devilsaur for burst.
-1 brawl +1 scourgelord Garrosh (not sure if 2 brawls are necessary, but Garrosh weapon is really good)
I'm not saying these changes are better, but that's what worked for me a while ago. I'll try it out again today and see if it still holds up.
