I ask this topic, because all my friends play Supercell games - Brawl Stars and Clash Royale and when I tried to get them to Hearthstone they all dumped it because it's normal for a game to last 20+ minutes in higher ranks...
And in Brawl Stars and Clash Royale you have 3 minutes per game to finish. This is the reason Fortnite and PUBG mobile also started dying at least in my friend circle.
And it's annoying also, because I had a 20 minutes break in school and my game wasn't even over as I was playing Even Pala versus Odd Warrior and it was like forever... I am starting to think HS is not suitable for mobile...
I play on mobile. Probably shouldn't start a game if you only have 15-20 mins, you might queue into a control player. Unless it's casual and you don't mind conceding. If your deck is quick and you haven't won in 10 mins, you probably aren't going to, so you might as well concede. You said it was odd warrior, let's face it that is gonna take forever it's probably the slowest common matchup in standard.
Well, during a fixed break time, one should play Casual mode, where, if the game is not over in time, you can just concede. Not optimal, but it's casual time, so Casual mode is the proper place.
And, in average, a game lasts around 10mins or so I think, which is ok for a break.
Playing ladder during a break is just a wrong choice, if you care of ranks.
You do have a point about it being not really a fast game, hence not exactly fitting a mobile platform, but I think you can't get it any faster, for a cardgame with the aim of being half-casual and half-competitive.

Well the thread is about Mobile, I don't care on PC as I have time to be there, but Mobile is to play a game in the go :) That is why I ask, since it's impossible to fit a game within 20 minutes when the Boom hero power and my Valányr Deathrattle try to out-value each...
The length of a game has nothing to do with whether its a viable mobile game. The fact that its on a mobile platform does. People who have the time on the go will enjoy it. People who dont will play trash super cell games aan other mobile pay to win garbage
Time has nothing to do with whether it's competitive on mobile or not. Another reason why it's maybe not is that you have a less good overview on mobile compared to the other platforms. You also lose some time during your turn tapping your hand up and down to see hero powers for instance so you might have a disadvantage there.

Sure. What i was saying is that choosing the right mode does help.
Break time is Casual by definition, not Ranked.
Ofc, if you can play it exclusively during breaks, it may not be the right game for you.

you should start playing tetris or something, its 1000 on 1000 games where u can play fast without using a single brain cell.

PS: i play exclusively on mobile.
It is a perfectly fine mobile game imo. Just don't play slow control decks in ranked when you might have limited time and you are good to go!
Many quests can be done spread over a few very short sessions.

I like to play one match no longer than 20 minutes. If I want to spend more time, I will turn on the PC with Dota2.
I can say that it's inconvenient to play Hearthstone for those who have little time to play.
