We got nerfs like 3 weeks ago so unless Hunter starts having 80% playrate and winrate nothing else is gonna happen till April... Please stop with these pointless threads...

but its already like that tho and they were to nerf they would do something like this right
I don't think speculation is a bad idea inheirently. Hunter is currently seeing an awful lot of play, and these nerfs does seem to negate some of th cards that makes Hunter so powerful.
lesser emerald spellstone - same cost but takes 2 secrets to upgrade instead of 1
deathstalker rexxar - costs 9 mana but deals 4 damage to all enemy minions
animal companion - costs 4 mana but you can choose which beast companion to summon
thoughts?
daaamn i hope these are true, seem pretty fair. I am a wild player and hate hunters because those bitchassnibbas just complain to me because i play wild cards when they dont.... like biiich whuuutt?
Nerf predictions... Wait what? Did Blizzard announce some nerfs? No? Then there's no need to open such threads in my opinion.
Hunter is still the most played class, but he's slowly losing success and counters are starting to pop up. The game is somehow fixing itself, waiting for the rotation.
Blizzard shouldn't have listened to the community to update the beast pool of DK Rexxar LUL.
But forreal if Deathstalker Rexxar would be the same as Hagatha the Witch I don't think there would be much of a problem but at 6 mana when your opponent begins to build these horrendous abominations you are more likely to get tempo'd out of the game.

AFAIK Hunter's playrate is around 30% and they have 4 Decks with winrates ranging from 52% to 54% so it's not even close to 80%... I'm not saying the ladder isn't infested with them (and I do think Rexxar, alongside the other DKs,were a horrible mistake) but in 4 years we've never got balance patches this close to one another and it's even less likely now since rotation is in 4 months and the vast majority of nerf targets are gonna rotate out... Basically, yes I hate Hunter too and I wish the DK got gutted (I'm fine with Spellstone and Animal Companion though) but it's Blizzard we're talking about so chances we'll see other nerfs are ground low thus this topic (and all the others like this one) are pretty pointless and I'm starting to get fed up of seeing them pop up every single day...
We're still in Hunterstone, but Hunter population is slowly decaying, so the meta can adapt, at least to some extent.
Lesser Emerald Spellstone is incredibly powerful, but it's not used in all Hunter decks (ie Cube and Midrange Hunter).
Animal Companion has always been a strong but not OP card. It can't carry the class on high tiers by itself.
The only OP card that is shared by all top tier Hunters is Deathstalker Rexxar. Maybe a nerf to (8) or (9) could delay building beasts just enough to make it balanced? But the card is also shifting to full-Wild soon enough...
My prediction is, no more nerfs until new rotation (hunter is fine tbh, not very oppressive compared to what druid used to be). 1 week before new rotation lands they will hall of fame Gadgetzan Auctioneer and maybe couple other cards (Northshire Cleric maybe), they will also nerf Barnes to be 6 mana and probably also nerf Eternal Servitude.
I mean Mana Wyrm was nerfed due to the early snowball effect and Scavenging Hyena snowballs far quicker than Mana Wyrm ever did because it buffs in larger quantities(+2/+1 compared to just +1) and is buffed almost immediately due to a hunters cheap access to rush minions.
The only card I think truly deserves a nerf is spellstone. The others can be countered way more consistently with just a little bit of actual brain power when it comes to strategy and ability to change your play style depending on matchups. (Competency)

We go through this cycle. SH is a bad card, sees no play one expansion, and the same for the next one, and then one expansion Hunter gets a good early game minion, and suddenly SH is playable. And some fool comes here and says SH is OP please nerf.

Well i have so many nerf predictions , that i dont wanna in the first time to tell them cause blizzard should close the game haha.
Do it or do not , there is no try...

It's unlikely they're gonna touch Animal Companion, but the Deathstalker Rexxar and Lesser Emerald Spellstone nerfs seems reasonable.
I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,

And Emerald Spellstone.. well its just a bullshit card right on par with Flanking Strike and Baited Arrow.
Animal Companion isn't that bad but the fact that Huffer... Always Huffer.

I predict this thread will be locked.
Expect getting a higher mana cost for Rexar will not help. His HP should cost 4 mana so you cannot use it and summon 8 mana zombiest in the same turn.

we dont need nerfs all the time, because people dont understand how to counter something.
