We got nerfs like 3 weeks ago so unless Hunter starts having 80% playrate and winrate nothing else is gonna happen till April... Please stop with these pointless threads...
but its already like that tho and they were to nerf they would do something like this right
AFAIK Hunter's playrate is around 30% and they have 4 Decks with winrates ranging from 52% to 54% so it's not even close to 80%... I'm not saying the ladder isn't infested with them (and I do think Rexxar, alongside the other DKs,were a horrible mistake) but in 4 years we've never got balance patches this close to one another and it's even less likely now since rotation is in 4 months and the vast majority of nerf targets are gonna rotate out... Basically, yes I hate Hunter too and I wish the DK got gutted (I'm fine with Spellstone and Animal Companion though) but it's Blizzard we're talking about so chances we'll see other nerfs are ground low thus this topic (and all the others like this one) are pretty pointless and I'm starting to get fed up of seeing them pop up every single day...
I see you're One of the....small minded people Who think DKs are a problem because they are too underdeveloped to find a way to play around them...i mean the only One a Little over the Edge Is rexxar and you Can even beat him,the thing that makes DKs so great (design Wise) Is that at any point in the game you Can fk them up no matter how ahead they are,you All are Just too lazy to actually use your brain for more than a minute a day tops, people complain about strong cards for fhe same reason (NOT everyone,Just an example, don't rage at me,Just thinking off the top of my head) they hate maths, they see wierd things, they panic and go braindead so they don't even approach it
Why nerf Rexxar ? He is sooo fun to play against, particularly after they buffed it's beast pool. Thanks Blizzard, great game balancing suggestion by the community.
All this hunters afraid of their precious and skilled decks (omegalul) being touched.
having said that, i do believe theres nothing wrong about hunter, but there is with others meaning 50% or more flock to hunter. I play wild now cause each time i hop on standard its hunters after hunters so the game is boring and dead in standard
Talking hunter nerfs while not seeing the bigger picture.
That Ayala figure of Blizzard-HS gave on Reddit a glims when it comes to nerfing as a principle. He is the balance guy or more precisely the Hearthstones 'lead balance designer.' If you read carefully you'll notice that balance changes are implemented to make the game 'feel new and fresh from expansion to expansion.'
The politics of nerfing brought as the politics of balance and card design is to make the game feel fresh. The concept therefore of balance is not based on fairness as a principle, balancing class representation in the meta for instance or make RPS less steep. So you could expect hunter nerf coming in by the next expansion only to expect another oppressive class in return.
That's not balance, That is nerfing with a specific target audience in mind. Most the fanboys whom in turn get their fix depending on the class they love. Now we complain hunter, what's next to complain about?
Reprehensive that is.

I mean Mana Wyrm was nerfed due to the early snowball effect and Scavenging Hyena snowballs far quicker than Mana Wyrm ever did because it buffs in larger quantities(+2/+1 compared to just +1) and is buffed almost immediately due to a hunters cheap access to rush minions.
We go through this cycle. SH is a bad card, sees no play one expansion, and the same for the next one, and then one expansion Hunter gets a good early game minion, and suddenly SH is playable. And some fool comes here and says SH is OP please nerf.
Posts like yours send shivers down my spine. Makes me wonder about the future of humanity.
For 4 Mana you can play scanningsc hyena and the two 1/1 rushing cats, trade them and be left with a 6/4 on board. That's good, but hardly game-breaking; most players can deal with a 4 health mibiom on turn 5 or a 2 health minion on turn 2. It can snowball, but that required a fair bit of luck
It's not SH himself... it's that with the most recent xpansion he's received a 2 mana +4/+2 buff with one card... while "Blessing of Kings" is 4 mana for +4/+4 which is used in every buff paladin that has ever existed, and considered to be pretty strong.. so free blessing of kings -2hp one turn early... or if snake trap+wandering monster is on the board... 4 mana for +6/+3, possibly +8/+4 if wandering grabs a beast...
Hunter is most likely not getting nerfed before the next expansion. I would like to see a tweak to spellstone because it's flat out broken but I also would like a million dollars and neither are going to happen.

Hunter has the best top deck game of any class...Every hunter I play curves out near perfect with no extra card draw. It sickens me to be honest. So yes, that stupid hyena always snowballs early game.
Firebat's video hit the nail on the head: nearly all hunters these days are three-stage boss fights.
1. Smorc and secrets 2. (if spellstones used) Zul'jin (If not and/or forced to AOE) DK Rexxar 3. Other hero card for hunter
Standard probably won't get a nerf UNLESS there's a huge dropoff in players or tons of bad word of mouth due to the monotony of "Hunterstone." The recent nerf came about because stats showed you really didn't need to buy any Rastakhan packs to succeed.
Any nerfs to DK Rexxar will probably be when he ports over to wild. Probably less percentage of certain beasts or traits (esp. poisonous and lifesteal).
From the Hearthstone Wiki:
Certain Beasts are specifically excluded from the Build-A-Beast options, even if they cost 5 Mana or less.[7] Known exclusions include King of Beasts[8] and Witchwood Grizzly, likely due to it having both card text as well as keywords, which could cause unexpected addition outcomes (data dependency) in the code.
Also note that Zombeasts can be summoned back by N'zoth ... They'll probably have someone pouring through to check which beasts may be problematic on the wild side. Cave Hydra I could see being a side nerf, going to 6 mana. It's like the divine save for DK Rexxar hunters in trouble and tends to roll in quite a bit. All it takes is lifesteal or poisonous just to make it simply OP.
Why would you buff DK Rexxar? I thought this was a nerf thread?
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

Not this again. Take it like a man instead of being a pussy and wait until April.
LOL this thread is so funny
Can you predict my future?

The new problem is priest at rank 2 and 1

All are wrong, sorry bro. Hunter is actually ok now, enough counters out there tbh.
I predict that all of your predictions will be wrong.
2 of the 3 are going to wild hunter will be shit no need to nerf
is this a new card scanningsc hyena

Also, Barnes going to 6 mana in wild. That I could see.
