9 mana shit your whole deck on the board priest spell.
Hadronox (to be fair, this one got good because of Witching Hour and the insane armour package for Druid. I mean the fact that half of the strong Druid decks seemed to be memes shows how strong the core druid package was and still is.)
Hearthpwn put Zerek's Cloning Gallery in the "dust it" category in their legendary crafting guide a few days after boomsday dropped. They even put it below that crappy 4 mana 5/4 that turns into a dire mole.
Hadronox god crapped on a lot when it came out Frost Lich jaina pretty much caries the mage class right now the Entire Spell Hunter Archtype was laughed at when To My Side got revealed.
Carnivorous Cube was pretty ho-hummed if I remember correctly, at least in the early days when it was first announced. Giggling Inventor ... were obvious ones that were slept on
Crystalsmith Kangor always look weird to me, I couldnt't really judge the card when it is revealed. As for Prince Keleseth ,people should notice it sooner since most 2 drops aren't that good anyway.
pretty much every Dk, i remember seeing a ton of people thinking that gul'dan was bad, and tbh lock was t4 during frozen throne but as long as you can res a couple of taunts, n'zoth-like effects are really strong
To be fair no one (or very few people) thought Fungalmancer was a strong card, because in the early KoFT some cards weren't nerfed yet. Raza Priest was running rampant, Corridor Creeper, Bonemare and Patches the Piratewere the stronger inclusions for odd decks.
Ummmm there were no odd decks during KotFT. Baku is a Witchwood card....two expansions later, lol. And Fungalmancer is a K&C card...so you are kinda confused.

You are right. I don't know why I said odd decks, I had "tempo" in mind (as in tempo rogue using the aforementioned cards and after their nerfs Fungalmancer became popular).
Also I meant early K&C not KoFT. Yeah, witchwood didn't come yet, but I just wanted to correct that as well.
Friendly reminder that people rated The Caverns Below as the worst quest during the release of Ungoro.
Edit: King Krush finally being in a competitively viable deck also took forever.
I remember being excited when I opened King Krush in a classic pack and a friend giving me "advice" to dust him. Glad I didn't listen to that one. Actually, same story with Crushing Walls, which was considered too situational and now every spell hunter runs it and opponents often try to play around it, anticipating it.

Prince Keleseth,
Katherina Winterwisp
The entire Warlock package from Kobolds

They must be high, it can pull an Obsidian Statue and The Lich King, even though 1/1 still very powerful
Rhok'delar was initially considered crap, along with the rest of spell hunter. When Cubelock got nerfed, it rose to tier 1.
yeah
Favorite Cards: 1. Lord Jaraxxus | 2. Malygos| 3. Edwin VanCleef | 4. Zephrys the Great| 5. Deathwing
Thats just wrong.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Obviously Prince Keleseth and Hadronox, Crystalsmith Kangor is also nominated.

And for a very good reason, when he was released we don't have tons and tons of rush/poison/lifesteal beasts.
RegisKillbin rated Frost Lich Jaina a One Star Card. Ha.. .
But for me it's Frostwolf Warlord after the Nerfs to Odd Paladin.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
Not a very good example. Frostwolf Warlord was in fact played quite a lot in the early days.
Naturalize and Coldlight Oracle were considered to be cards that actively lost you the game and actually were pretty terrible in the before time.

Dragonhatcher
OP asked which cards are Now Meta. Not the cards that were used waaaay back in the days just after Naxx.

This is why you don't dust anything unless there are very similar cards that fulfill the job better, like Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale and Banana Buffoon.
