I remember fulgamancer (no one cared about and now is very op in arena and standart) what cards do you remember that no one cared about in reveal season and now is op?
I think Purify is the ultimate example of mocked cards that eventually became good (or at least, OK), even if it was briefly. Silence priest was a lot of fun and purify played a big part in it.
Carnivorous Cube was pretty ho-hummed if I remember correctly, at least in the early days when it was first announced. Giggling Inventor and Corridor Creeper were obvious ones that were slept on (as they were part of the post-stream card dump).
All the warlock shenanigans from kobolds is another big one. But a lot of the rest that were slept on didnt hit their stride until an expac or 2 after. Level Up! is a great example of a trash card that turned into a win condition simply by giving your hero power an extra guy in witchwood.
Holy Wrath, once a meme card, now high-legend competitive deck archetype...
Prince Keleseth - no one suspected that there is a possibility to not run two-drops in a deck, now it is one of more popular legendaries...
Both Genn and Baku - at the beginning there was a suspicion that even/odd archetypes are not so good without additional support of new cards and that the hero power by itself is to weak to compensate the handicap of deck building...
People mention Prince Keleseth but when it was released it didn't actually see play until Pirate Warrior and Token Druid got nerfed. It was rated when those were the topdecks. Also Deathstalker Rexxar was bad but they decided to print better beasts and also allow these beasts into his Zombeast pool.

Just like to mention. Giggling Inventor was revealed before the stream.

Oh my god yes. I couldn't believe the comments when it was revealed...people were saying it was a "meh" or win more card. Like I couldn't believe it

Level up was really good in dude paladin, which was a tier 1 deck in kobolds meta
For me the perfect example would be Hadronox! One one my first 5 legendaries released in Frozen Throne, it was classified as utter trash.
I'm glad I didn't disenchanted him because 2expac later in the Witchwood area after even paladin nerf, Taunt Druid was the hot thing and ruled the meta and never really left since then (up until last December I mean)
Hadronox god crapped on a lot when it came out Frost Lich jaina pretty much caries the mage class right now the Entire Spell Hunter Archtype was laughed at when To My Side got revealed.
To be fair no one (or very few people) thought Fungalmancer was a strong card, because in the early KoFT some cards weren't nerfed yet. Raza Priest was running rampant, Corridor Creeper, Bonemare and Patches the Pirate were the stronger inclusions for odd decks.
As mentioned above - DK Rexxar was a bit too slow in KoFT. With the addition of better beasts (especially with keywords such as rush and lifesteal) he got more popular.
Purify might be a good example, but only for 1 expansion (JtU). After that it became meme tier again.
Prince Keleseth - some people really forget how inferior those decks were in comparison to the pre-nerfed aggro decks (pirate warrior, murlocadin and token druid). They had a very consistent and explosive early game. So I also agree with what user-100399199 said.

Level up was always good. There was a competitive version of dude paladin before Baku.
Hearthpwn put Zerek's Cloning Gallery in the "dust it" category in their legendary crafting guide a few days after boomsday dropped. They even put it below that crappy 4 mana 5/4 that turns into a dire mole.

Favorite Cards: 1. Lord Jaraxxus | 2. Malygos| 3. Edwin VanCleef | 4. Zephrys the Great| 5. Deathwing
In the beginning, Deathstalker Rexxar was bad... We didn't see it coming lol

To My Side!
.
Nourish. Some time ago it was used but not abused
Rin, the First Disciple was classified as utter garbage and found it's way into a fair amount of controllock lists.
That's Incredible!
Prince Keleseth was considered trash when it first came out. Then it ran the meta.

Benedictus and King Toggwaggle, though not tier 1 anymore, they elevated from meme status to serious deck cards
Just like to mention. Giggling Inventor was revealed before the stream.

A small commentary on some people's posts:
