I'm taking the tesspionage stuff over to wild where it has a ton more synergy.
I'm wondering if there's much removal on the regular ladder (not legend) I can't really remember running in to many, but I know I have been oozed at least a couple of times. (I know there are a lot more oozes in standard and that's why I crafted 2 of them initially)
just trying to decide whether to take 2 x Spectral Cutlass in case this is the case. The cutlass is the win condition and if you loose it, things will be bleak. (on that note usually auto quitting when you face rogue might not be a bad idea too)
Tbh I have seen deck lists running 1 ooze, in order to counter Cubelock, Pirate Kingsbane Rogue, maybe Tempo Mage and Pirate Warrior (which are rare encounters). So this isn't an uncommon tech, but if you run 2 cutlasses, you should be fine.
I play wild all the time (rank 3 now) and strangely enough dont see any weapon removal. Never really noticed or thought about until your post. So go for it!
In my climb to legend from rank 7 (~70 games) , I have only played against 2 decks running a weapon removal. But if you plan on playing wild casual, you should expect that unexpected. Theres a shit load of variety ranging from tier 1 even shaman to tier ?? reno deathrattle hunters.

thanks man. well I already have 2 so it's not like I have to craft them or anything. I can just run 2 to start with and if I feel it's overkill I can switch one out.
I reckon I will craft the furnace guy though as he seems perfect for if you end up drawing 1 mana weapons, he could potentially get huge as well.

thanks dude. I have 2 already so if I can either try 2 to start with and remove one if it ends up being too much. or vice versa I could take 1 and if I get oozed too much, add a second. I kind of feel like running 2 to start with is the safer play though.

I've never actually played casual in wild yet. is it fun? I may check it out tonight.
I play wild and run 2 weapon removal cards as Rogue decks are a pain with a weapon and absolutely garbage without a weapon and enough rogues show up that they are often used and to great success.
The problem is drawing the weapon removal cards when or before needed and at times they are one of the last cards in the deck which gets frustrating.

My main rogue wouldn't really care if you oozed me, would just dagger up again. my espionage deck not so much. but then that's meme tier so like if you're oozing a meme tier deck, shame on you :D
Weapon and Secret Removal are run in all my Wild Decks, although normally just one of each Gluttonous Ooze and Eater of Secrets
hey mate. was it you that added me last night? let me know if you wanna do a friendly? I did not know it was you and I just ended up playing it on ladder and loosing a whole rank so had to regain my stars.
I will do some friendly games tonight if you want to though. I really would like to learn to play this deck properly as I've invested a lot into the archetype and I'd hate to not get use from the cards now.
