I'm new to wild, so I'm not sure if the other cards are good or if I'd get a good return from dusting them. it's a little more expensive than buying a 15 pack bundle from the store.
Just wondering if you guys can give me any advice on this please before I spend some money. thanks.
EDIT: did a quick search and found out what cards are in it. from a dust perspective it's most likely worth it. also a lot of the cards look interesting to me and could probably be used by me in wild I'd imagine.
Now I just need to find a good place online to sell books in the UK and make some money. ha ha.
I say depends on two things, is there any other card at all you need from naxxramus? even a card in the future? Most of the time spending 20$ on packs nets you 1 legendary, so if you want 2 then naxxramus is good
this is my deck, it would usually have loatheb in the slot where I have greenskin currently. I am also hoping to play the newer aggro kingsbane deck (but I need kingsbane and doomerang first)
other than that I don't really know. I can build a mech hunter and an odd paladin after I get those quartermasters and a couple of rares.
I play rogue more than anything though in constructed at least. I only started wild last night so I really don't know yet.
I just don't know what you get in naxx, does it only have 1 legendary, is the dust value of the pack low compared to the later adventures (as the later ones had a very high dust value)
basically it hinged on whether the cards are playable, or they have a decent dust value Vs. money spent. I know I will play Loatheb, but I don't know what else is in it as it doesn't tell you on the blizzard shop. I guess I could google it and see what comes up. will try that now.
I don't know anything about Wild, but this site provides a golden thread which is a tierlist for legendary cards (for both Standard and Wild).
In this moment, Loatheb is a tier 1 Legendary in Wild, but for further information you should leave a post there or wait for other users to answer you question.
Back in the day I liked the content, but I haven't played it recently, but I think there is some fun to be had with new archetypes against the heroic bosses.
As for cards there are only Loatheb and Kel'Thuzad which I see regularly in wild. I have however encountered Feugen and Stalagg in a deathrattle quest priest once or twice. The rest of any cards from Naxx needed in wild are cheap crafts. So if you want to play with the legendaries listed, then you should buy it. if you only want/need Loatheb then craft him.
This is without considering the the fun you can have with Naxx, and if you have a decent classic collection you can try to see how the game once played. Disclaimer: I know you can not experience a 1 to 1 version of classic as blizzard have nerfed a fair number of cards into the ground

thing is I'm not sure if I will end up needing cards from it, so it may be better for me to just get the set. I know the adventure is meant to be pretty cool to play anyway, and it does have a decent amount of cards for the money as well (also maybe I can get that lo-fi naxx card back. never managed to get the card backs from any of the adventures yet though, really hard without older card sets)
Basically I wouldn't get many card packs for the same price which most likely wouldn't even give me 1 legendary where as naxx has 4 in it I think.
Even if I just wanted a few of the cards, dusting the rest would probably be more profitable than buying 15 packs of classic set cards or rastakhan.
PS: how good is Loatheb? I mean I can see what he does and all, does shutting down the opponents ability to cast spells a good play in wild I'm guessing? (I really wish I'd saved my dirty rats now as well for killing reno)
Naxx has the second best cards of any adventure, so buy it, and kelthuzad is super funny
I have the mini kelthuzad pet in WoW, he will go round stealing the souls of little animals in the world like rabbits. it's really cute.
EDIT: that was wrong. if you kill something like a bunny, kelthuzad resurrects them.
he actually really does do that though. was amazing when I first seen it. I think the sunflower and heston are my favourites though... (sunflower is from the mini plants Vs. zombies game in woW and Heston is crafted, he becomes a portable cooking station though, love it) maybe darkmoon rabbit because I love the holy grail.
Yeah, I'm one of those pokemon weirdos in WoW (although I've not played in a long time now) when the last expac launched I went fishing for crawdads and catching rare dragons because the entire old world was empty due to people being in the new expac. ha ha.
it was really an amazing day, having wow to myself, being able to fish all the best spots and stuff. I actually caught 2 crawdads that day as well.

Have been playing a lot of discardlock, trust me Loatheb is a beast when played the turn before you can drop Nether Portal. especially because I often does not have many cards in my hand by then

thanks mate. I will certainly be trying to get me some naxx soon then. I will have to make do without loatheb for now, but will add as soon as I can.
I actually need dust right now as well, so being able to dust some of the cards would be great. (I wanna craft me a kingsbane and a couple of doomerangs for wild. that pirate aggro kingsbane deck looks immense. it's like a fun rogue deck that actually wins, ha ha)
So yeah if I can get some good cards and dust, it will be money well spent.
any ideas on what other cards are worth keeping from the rest of the pool, please?
i play wild a lot and i can tell you that those 25$ are worth it. You get a lot of very good cards proven in the past. Just to mention a few of them: Mad scientist, haunted creeper, zombie chow, deathlord, sludge belcher witch are used very often and are neutral cards and then some class cards like avenge, death bite and voidcaller. So in my opinion i would really consider getting the adventure but then again there is league of explorers witch have very good cards as well. If you want to play wild and like it and have no problem spending i would buy nax and league of explorers cause yes lotheb is a great card but if you would like to play another deck in wild and have a dust problem buy nax and maybe league of explorers. i bought them both and they made a huge difference in my collection.

Naxx is the only one I haven't already owned (unfortunately I dusted all the cards from the others as I never used to play wild, so I have to craft what I need from them)
Lucky I can get Naxx at least that will save me a bit.
I have chosen decks that don't use many of the cards I have dusted though. I have only had to craft some common's so far like swashburgler and dark iron skulker (which is a rare actually)
It's not worth thinking about the fact I had all these cards and dusted them though. Just move on and don't let it get to you. ha ha.
The fact I can get the Naxx cards without crafting them is a silver lining enough for me :)

or should I just craft loatheb?

Is there a particular deck you're hoping to play?

Craft Loatheb and a couple of commons imo

I just see that Loatheb is used a lot.

actually dude upon looking at the cards, it does seem worth it to me. those cards look pretty cool.

Skidaddle skidoodle your Milhouse manastorm is now a noodle
The only legendary cards i would keep from Naxxramas is Loatheb, Baron Rivendare and Kel'Thuzad.
Feugen, Stalagg and Maexxna aren't played much in wild but it's up to you.

Loatheb is tier 1, he's insane

damn I wish I could get the adventure now. I don't have any dust to just craft him neither.
you think I'll be alright for now without him? here's my deck. I put greenskin in his place for now cos greenskin is my favourite.

just get naxx. the cards are still useful and its a good price to get multiple legendaries. plus the solo content is really fun as well
