Since WW Paladin Decks have become A cornerstone in Tier 1 lists . The only Class that had competitive Odd and Even Decks is Paladin !! and Thats mean Paladin is Immune to any Nerf related to cards mana cost !!
Paladin is a problem and limiting the creativity space in upcoming expansions, one must stay and one must go either Odd pally or Even Pally need to be killed once and forever IMHO . i think T5 has picked Even Pally to stay in the meta duo to released cards.. What do you think ?
Murloc Paladin was a very good deck in J2U; it wasn't played much during KFT primarily because it was getting kind of boring. Paladin was terrible during MSG, and not particularly good during WOG. Prior to Standard, Secret Paladin was good.
Paladin's classic set doesn't contain very many good cards. Truesilver is usually good, but it sometimes too late to use it on turn 4. Equality is a fine card, but usually requires another card to combo with. Tirion has been powercreeped out of the game.
I don't think any winning World Championship Lineup has ever included Paladin.
In short, like every other class, Paladin has had its ups and downs.
Team 5 doesn't pick or create decks, they release cards that sometimes suggest specific archetypes, but they don't makes cards like Baku and go, "We want Odd Paladin to be top tier," then when it's too strong, nerf CTA because "Okay now we want EVEN Paladin to be top tier."
Team 5 doesn't give a fuck what specific deck or class is the best.

in that case kill even please. ha ha (really I'd prefer none were killed.. every deck is someone's favourite and someone is going to suffer by killing a deck off)
odd paladin is a great deck for people who don't have a ton of resources. it allows them to be able to succeed on ladder without needing a lot of cards. I know this is probably not the opinion a lot of people hold and would love to see decks like odd paladin die, but I'm thinking of more than just myself here.
I think having cheaper decks that perform well is important for the game. maybe it's just performing a little too well though? (I must say I do play odd paladin myself when I just want wins, but this is mainly because most of my decks are just fun weird things and odd paladin is a deck I can afford to build each expac that still does well... if I took away the odd decks I'd just be left with meme tier... Ok and the warlock decks, but I can't just play warlock forever)

If thats true then this is a Huge problem ... if i create a game i will definietly try it first before i release it ... wait a sec ! your RIGHT ! Freeze shaman , treant druid , Disolock , mech warrior ....... Etc was pushed blindly !! OMG
I worry what you heard was, "Blizzard doesn't test cards/push archetypes."
What I said was, "Blizzard doesn't make cards because they want a specific deck, class, or archetype to be top tier."

......... I have difficulty seeing the difference but i think i understand what you mean ofc its people who decide what to play not blizzard but i think when they release cards they keep in mind the current meta and try not ruin the game by make it unbalanced .

It takes a community of millions of players weeks, if not months to invent and refine decks and archetypes, and you expect Blizzard with their 100 or so employees to fully figure out a 'meta' before they release an expansion?

Lol though this would be a cry-thread about Time Out and all the healing.
Is it really a bad thing though, that Paladin has potential for multiple strong archetypes?
No, diversity is a good thing. Paladin as a class is not limiting design space, that's a deluded idea. If anything Genn and Baku are limiting design space for paladin. I don't believe they are, not right now atleast, but many people seem to believe they are.
Also paladin currently is not even close to being as bad as it has been with Secret Paladin during TGT.

How naive can you get...
Naive enough to recognize another Naive ...... Theres nothing to Invent or explore The Meta is already there you just need to add cards to existed Meta Decks and see if it Balanced or not -_-
as for Archetypes they add them in every expansion to create something new and fresh to the game nothing special but Kaladin confused me little there .

Fundamental BS. T5 print specific for aggressive decks to rule and even dominate the meta. Seen it every expansion. It's card design politics. Who thinks that they don't know in advance which archetypes will be top tier, is fundamentally ignorant how HS became a succes (feeding mindlessness).

ehh while that is the norm there ahve been exceptions to that rule, Kazakus and Drakonid Operative come to mind
They expressly stated they wanted Dragon Priest to have one last bit of fun. And Kazkus is meant to go into a specific archetype in three classes.
What they did NOT say is, "We're releasing Drakonid Operative because we want Dragon Priest to be tier 1, and Kazakus because we want Renolock to be Tier 1."
