Just looking back over the last 3 set and year of hearthstone and seeing what people wish for in the next rotation and set.
My wishes:
1: More ways to gain gold, packs, in game rewards and golden cards - I would love hearthstone to have more ways to gain resources that dont require grinding ranks or getting lucky in arena. Other games have achievements and legendary type quests with better rewards. hope Hearthstone adds similar features in the next rotation.
2: A better single player content - in my opinion year of the Raven had a lot of mediocre single player content. Year of the Mammoth had ice crown and dungeon run, two amazing single player modes which i thought personally was amazing. However, year of the raven had a lot of under whelming single player expansions. Monster hunt was fun, but was not as good as dungeon run, puzzle lab had no re-play ability and i thought rumble run was too random and lacked the excitement of previous sets. i think 2019 needs a fresh and excited adventure mode which has flavor and a lot of fun, which some of the adventures lacked this year.
3:A new Mechanic / return of old mechanics - I think the mechanics this year were overall pretty underwhelming. Rush and Magnetic turned out to be the best of the group introduced, but once again compared to Lifesteal, Quests, DeathKnights and Recruit most of the 2018 mechanics did not make an impact on the meta.
4: Some form of class identity - I think my compliant goes mostly towards warrior which has too many mechanics compared to other classes. this year Warrior had Rush, Dragons and mechs. I know each class gets a new theme each expansion, but warrior seems to normally showcase a completely new set of mechanics every expansion and normally get no support for those mechanics later on. Self damage, taunt and recruit warrior for 2017 have seen very little support this year and im sure that next year warrior will get alot of new cards, with new mechanics forgetting about previous cards that get no support. It will be nice this year to see some new cards that stay within some of the mechanics warrior already has.
Tournament Mode - 8 players buy into tournament for (say) 500 gold each, single elimination match best of 3, gold paid to top 2 : 75%/25% - something like that
User Defined Games - Have a few variables to give the games some variety - maybe casual mode only - more/less Health, variable Mana start, No Legandary cards, Class cards only.....things like that. Player A sets the game and its listed for people to join.
I (personally) think the ability to earn gold is good enough from HS - the daily challenges and 10 gold for 3 wins is ample and allows even casual players enough gold earning ability for packs and expansions - maybe the rewards for Arena could be improved some, but overall I think its a decent enough balance currently.
I know I can't pretend a complete different game, so I'll go with little but, from my point of view, important wishes
1) A new tribe: just like with Un'Goro two expansions ago, I'd like some new tribe to build decks around. I don't have particular preferences, but just something with a lot of flavor like Elementals (hail to the Elementals... *hail*).
2) No more infinite value cards without restrictions: cards like Jaina and Rexxar have been a scourge for these months' meta (did you get the pun? no?...). I know that this kind of cards are really good for merchandise and for recruiting new players, but they make the meta kinda frustrating. On the other hand, Hagatha and Boom are strong, but they are held back by relevant RNG factors.
3) Gold: now that we receive three expansions per year without adventures, we have a lot more cards to play with and the cost of the game has been raised. I appreciate the fact that now missions reward better than last year, but I'd like another push in this way, however it comes.
4) More aggressiveness with nerfs: please don't let us die in an unbalanced meta! Keep doing like you did with the Level-Up patch (I'm talking about times, not results, since Hunter may be a little too much overpowered), that's the right play to make your loyal fanbase even wider.
That's it: I'll be happy if at least two of these wishes will come reality

1. More deck slots - Nothing worse than having to delete a nice deck to make room for new decks. (I know there is alternatives, but how hard is it to just allow for more deck slots).
2. Introduction of the Undead tag at last - This tag should have been introduced back in Naxx or atleast with the Lich king expansion, hopefully Scholomance will finaly bring it or The Plaguelands.
Oddly enough I don't feel more GOLD is needed. I mean I won't stop any attempt to give me More Free Stuff. But as it is simply doing dailies and saving between expansions gives you enough gold to get most of the rares/commons. More ways to get dust would be nice though.
So what I would ask for:
1. Guild/clan/group features. Being able to group up and talk to people who you want to associate with (as in NOT random folks) regularly is something we've been needing for quite a while. It's the whole "playing with friends" style of thing that folks, especially the 'non-netdecker' folks have been needing, even if they didn't realize it.
2. Free Classic
I think we're at the point where the income from the classic packs is minimal from here, but it's a major barrier to entry for new players. I think at this point they can give the set to everyone from here. I'm not sure if the community can handle it without demanding a refund of every card they crafted (which would be insane). If they could figure it out though, they would be free to rotate, change, add, or whatever to it from there.
3. a mode with a quickly rotating set of expansions.
I'm convinced now by others. A mode that, say, takes 5 random sets and runs them for a month sounds very interesting and would probably do along side Wild and Standard.
4. More experimental 'adventures' with the expansions. It's time to expand on the mentality of the content that comes with expansions. This is where we can start trying things like "2 headed giant" mode and the like. Just have each expansion be the time to do something that may utterly fail or be awesome. Stop rerunning "Dungeon Run."
And for that matter
5. Update dungeon run. It's pretty clear that this is the best version of the 'run' modes and you keep getting ideas on what to do with it. So 'run' with it. Grab Dungeon run, make it an official mode and, whenver you get the urge, just update THAT with new or different content. *#($)# you can literally grab some of the stuff from the other 'runs': have some of the treasures be Spirits similar to how Rumble Run added. Could add some of the more interesting bosses in as enemies you could meet as well. #()$# I wouldn't mind a few hidden ones, like sneaking in a rematch with kel'thuzad.
Lasty
6. An official place to watch tournament videos. I never can sit and watch the twitch streams and Twitch vods are a mess to work with. I like watching the matches on youtube with each match on it's own video and the tournament on a playlist.
(1) ez - New set of quests; I really liked the mechanic - Additionally, a "counter" to quests (i.e. card with Battlecary: Quest requires 1 additional progress)
(2) Less OP Paldadin and Hunter Cards (Let's make the other classes relevant again; not saying the other classes don't exist, but the past 2 expansions/current meta SEEMS LIKE (to me at least) has been ladder containing ~80% Odd-Paladin and now ~85% Hunters)
(3)Less cards for aggro achetypes; I don't mind playing against Aggro, I don't find it fun to play myself, but don't seem to see the point of having 30 cards or being able to go to 10 mana if the game has been decided by turn 5, you're either sitting at 2 hp hoping to draw a heal or armor to see if you die to hunter hero power next turn, or you have full board control and he has no cards left with no cards to draw and just concedes... I just don't find that to be entertaining, (again, my opinion).
(5) Another "Mecha'Thun" once he rolls out - I liked the Mecha'Thun Mechanic... Gave people who are terrible at "Hearthstone-decision-making" a chance to finally get some wins; and was fun for a brief moment when he first came out; lost to a Mecha'Thun Priest before I had even seen Mecha'Thun or what he did, I saw him with 5 cards in his hand and getting ready to start taking fatigue damage and I was thinking "gg ez" ... then he did the combo and the animation happened so fast I didn't see Mecha'Thun hit the board after the ticking abominations and just get "Defeat" left me sitting there like "wait.... ??? what???" so would be neat to see a new similar mechanic when he rotates out...
(6) "Legendary Quests" like a 0.015% chance of getting a golden Quest worth 1K gold -that has a high difficulty/could take a while to complete (i.e. Consecutively Win a Rastakan Rumble Run, Dungeon Run and Monster Hunt)
(7) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - "Discover a new Quest" > Quest Reroll - New "Discoveries" will all have the same level of reward, but you get to choose (so I'm not sitting on "Get 3 wins with Druid or Rogue" waiting for a Tavern Brawl to come back around)
-Ways to get old hero portraits (e.g. Tyrande and Kadgar)
-Have them actually work on improving the game rather than a few expansions a year and the occassional nerf here and there
Edit: more achievements would be nice too
This is the most accurate thing I have read today. Thank you, and to the guy that thought you were salty is just an asshat. What you stated touched on everything that hearthstone should focus on.

BONUS: a Dwarf Mountaineer character made into a legendary card. Possibly neutral and Even costed, ktnx.
What they said
Seeing people agreeing with me makes me really happy
Salty dude here eh, wrong thread
Leper Gnome
Counterspells.
Anything you're gonna base this empty claim on or is "salt" all you can muster?
Better ways to get gold for sure. new players wont stay in game if they have to throw away their hard earned collection every year.
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
More Deck Slots!
Barnes removed from wild to other dimension. More gold for 3 wins and more dust from disenchant.
Tournament mode could be fun too.
Achievements, its kinda time for it. We want achievements since begginig.
And way to buy wild packs for gold.
Remove Genn and Baku.
Reintroduce adventures.
Less shitty cards.
More nerfs.
3. Would love an adventure this year.
4. Less cards that support combo decks.
Start banning the damn bot accounts infesting wild casual.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

I would say the daily quest some of them to ez and are the same add new quest for new mechanics when they come out
