I'm reading so many peoples opinions here, and so many people constantly calling out for (in their opinion) necessary changes, that I wonder if the team actually ever responds to these battlecries. I'm not sure if I would, as a developer, as you can never keep everyone satisfied.
Has anyone from the developmentteam of HS ever responded on this website? Or is there proof that due to discussions and feedback on this site, things have changed in-game?
Who knows - i don't think so but i think they should. It's not like they should implement the ideas from the community without thinking because there are a lot of trolls in this community i think BUT and this is a huge but. I think they should look into what people complain and what the community would like to see. Some ideas in this community are awesome ! Blizzard and other AAA companies such as bathesda and EA are in a tough spot right now - look at the stockmarket. They are forced to change some things and we saw a nerf comming very fast after the release of RR. Now i can't say this is all connected but perhaps it is. We shall see what the future looks like for hearthstone and i'm not saying it looks bad but they deffinitly should work on some stuff.
They have yet to give Hearthpwn a card to reveal during an expac hype train event. (unless we got one during rastakhan as I was not here for this release!?)
With this in mind, I really don't think they pay attention to us very often.
Personality streamers are more important to them than websites though for this type of thing and from a business perspective I understand this.
Still I think Hearthpwn deserves some recognition from Blizzard, and I see it as rather disrespectful that they still haven't given Hearthpwn a card to reveal, given all the work this site does for the community.
Blues read many various WoW fan sites. I would be very surprised if the only place that HS teams members read to get feedback (as one-way as it is) was only Twitter & Reddit.
Not caving in to every salt post demand on Reddit isn't exactly barely reading it. There's a difference between reading something and thinking; "Damn, that is a terrible idea! We're not doing that." and "Hmm, these complaints line up with internal discussions we've already been having and/or data we have. Perhaps there's some merit behind these complaints."

I remember an old post of Brode where he said explicitly that Blizzard had read the comments here (it was during the announcement of some nerfs). If Blizzard don't read Hearthpwn they are totally out of mind, this forum is the biggest, and a company like Blizzard should be customers' related.
In any case, the question is always open because here on Hearthpwn we voted and discussed a lot of things and very often the Blizzard's decision didn't happened or it was the opposite of what the people wanted. So very often Blizzard seems not a company customers' related.
It should also go towards saying that Blizz likely has some people at least occasionally reading some things on here considering that many popular streamers put up decks for the community (and some do videos).

I'd really like to see that post. The impression that I had is that blizzard looks at their own board, twitter, and reddit but not here. We're just talking to each other.
Now I don't know how they act nowadays given the recent pushing by Activision, but Blizzard in the past has had their ear on their customers. But they never really bend backwards for them. Meanwhile, the fanbase has been about as angry and toxic to Blizzard since the days of diablo 1 and starcraft base game but has always loyally stuck around (the old "CoD players will say how much they hate a game while buying it" goes 5x how we do it). We've also had very *VERY* horrible feedback to offer blizzard as well.
If anything, they've been far more open than I'm used to seeing them. They always had that air of being dead silent when it comes to talking to us and simply worked on their stuff while we yelled at, what felt like, the open air. The videos discussions the whys and where's of changes honestly threw me for a loop.
(well so did the concept of seeing deadlines that were actually MET)
In any case, I honestly haven't seen a single post by blizzard over here even though I HAVE seen their posts elsewhere, so take that what you will.

No, they don't care. Too many kids and toxic boomers everywhere. Even the staff is toxic and cry for any shit printed, just track their comments and u see it. Developers of HS just care about moneymaking, they know what deck is broken, then, they wait to noobs to build these decks for free wins and then the nerfs come and that's it. U spend ur dust and ur time playin with some broken braindead deck and know u're fucked, after nerfs u need to find another bullshit braindead deck or another game.
I don't think sifting through this mountain of salt is worth anybody's paid time. Perhaps there is a pr person or a staff member that checks in for fun though. They do like to nerf cards that nobody is complaining about, so my guess is they have their own stats and long term goals that they focus on instead.

I'm curious.

Maybe they do read, but we have no feedback.
Certainly, they do not ready every complain made in these forums, as most of them are sheer salt...
Reddit is probably a better source of playerbase opinion for them.
Anyway, consider that this site plays a part in forming the opinion of the playerbase, beyond the discussions held here. Opinions travel beyond sites.

If they do read it, they have not pointed to anything on this site as a reason for anything they do.
If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
Most threads made here are so braindead, I think the Balance Team would lose their mind if they read them.
Probably best for both, I guess. Imagine the amount of salt threads popping up if Blizzard actually started replying to some :O

Blizzard is your father
Yes they watch thread and many changes has been made duo to threads here
hearthpwn is the biggest HS Forum to discuss the game
i am pretty sure they are not allowed.
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Really? What makes you think that? They read Reddit for sure, and I'm pretty certain they read the Official Blizzard Hearthstone Forums as well...
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

blizzard only reads reddit
barely...

Mike Donais used to reply to posts on reddit until he became a meme for telling vicious syndicate how to write better articles.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
