because of $hitivi$ion... they have fucked over blizzard as a company so bad, that even overwatch has become super stale, and it was known for the creative events and skins back in the day... all activision gives a shit about is money, money, oh and did i mention money? yea... they are greedy to get money, even at the cost of destroying companies
I dont hate Activision Blizzard. They sold there soul long time ago and are just doing what the customers let them do. I hate the mindless mass of people defending every less customer and more profit orientated change this company is bringing to the game.
It´s a buyers market, most people just dont seem to understand this, which gives Activision the power to act like they do.
Also it should be noted that the top 10 Shareholders of Activision are either hedgefonds or finance service companies (you know the guys who had a big responsibility for the financial crisis in 2008).....they only care for numbers.
If it's a buyers market then the customers have all the power and not the seller and not the other way around.
I also don't understand all the comments that Blizzard/Activision only cares for money. First thing - every company basically does that. And second, to be a successful as a company you have to hear the customer and react on them otherwise they will buy other products. Because getting a lot of money is the sum of having a good product, listening to the customers and having engaged employees
Except they don't have to do the latter because they have no noteworthy competitors.
What digital cardgame is as casual-friendly and big as this one? None.
Blizzard can do whatever they want as long as they pretty much have a monopoly over digital cardgames.
Making updates to live production software is far more involved than going in and editing some code, especially if UI elements are involved. Where I work, changing even a constant in the code is a minimum of $2K of expense when you sum up all the process, testing, and review of the change. There is no such thing as a simple change when the effect could be a botched release and patch cycle - remember what happened when they messed up the new season roll, that got expensive and embarrassing quickly.

I'd like it very much if they allowed us an in-depth view into statistical data, in-game...but it's probably not gonna happen anytime soon, if ever.
Other than that, as someone who has all the classes golden, I'd like it if there were a prize of some sort for other milestones (make the milestones something ludicrous, like for getting 10k wins with a class or something)...I'm missing only 2 legendaries from the Classic set, and a few epics and rares, I'm so excited to get my grand prize of 100 gold for completing it soon xD They should really add some better prizes, not necessarily in in-game currency.

ya see I don't know anything about that stuff, seems like a small changes to me. I can only think of 3 things they changed 1. 19 decks slot 2.Wild/Standard button 3.TavernBrawl. Then you look at a mobile game like clash royale, its like what haven't they changed.(I compare to that cause its the only other card/type game i play)
going back to money i'm not surprised blizz released another Wild bundle pack, and that all that seems to change is new cards for hopefully a new meta.
I can't image little changes like that taking too long. I play clash royale and that game been revamped countless times, adding game modes, achievements, emotes you name it. Meanwhile hearthstone the EXACT SAME since day 1
No, it's not exactly the same. They added Tournament Mode. Oh...wait... ; )

They also made that you have a golden and normal card in one deckslot if you have both of a kind .
And that you can copy the deckcode.
Oh, and then don’t forget Spectator mode, but yeah new little changes wouldn’t be bad.
I get that they want to keep the interface simple with the stupid Hearthstone chest and everything, but they could easily toss in an Achievement button where the options menu is. That button could take you to maybe a hidden section under the chest or just an achievement tracker similar to WoW. Then everyone can see all the little "hidden" achievements (because currently they pretty much are hidden such as the rewards for collecting one of every card in the set, etc.) and they can add a ton more (as many as they want and add more with each new expansion). Why don't they do something like this like they did for WoW so that players could have more things to do? Probably because it's free to play and they don't feel like they need to.

Holy shit. I have never seen a post more accurately portray how I felt than this right here.... I'm actually kinda lost tbh xD

Blizzard announced that they will implement tournament mode, so that's something new I guess.
Hopefully they will add more stuff as well
'Tournament Mode' is the new 'Diablo III PvP Mode' .

"why can't they make that change? it seems simple! based on my experience as a player with another game by another company...."
because it's probably not that simple at all.

Because we have Hearthstone Deck Tracker or inkeeper to improve the UI...
There is no cancer deck in hearthstone ! You are the Cancer !
Maximum profits with minimal effort is why.
