T5 still needs to produce new content to continue making money. They aren't a charity after all.
I think we shouldn't be even allowed two write the words 'T5' and 'Charity' in the same paragraph. Believe me they are not. Do you know the annual income they make? I just quote here what I've written above as a response to these sort of claims:
''The current motivation driven by those who spend tons of real money on the game - which I do not criticise since it is their own choice - is not to have a better game experience, but rather to punish others by aiming to have a deck that makes others whine, which is slowly establishing a definition of satisfaction in HS.''
There is a reason that the high tier decks usually consist of many legendaries that are virtually a must to have to make the deck work, and of course the very funny drop rate of these cards; I only had pre-purchased once, and stopped doing that after I've shockingly found out that I had only 2 worthless legendaries out of 50 packs.
Deck cost has very little to do with deck strength. Odd Paladin is a good deck, even after the nerf. And it’s cheap.
This thread suffers from a premise failure.
the only degenerate deck with a good curve and standard supporting cards which makes it actually playable. if you want to nitpick, do it properly. there is a reason blizzard is creating these kind of cards and it's only to show that you can get easy and cheap wins to counter the P2W argument. try playing either zoolock or smorc rogue without the ultimate legendaries, playable and possible to climb ladder with. but climbing to legend without it? yea sure..
Blizzard doesn't make decks. They make cards. They didn't make "Tier 1 Odd Paladin," they made an all-class neutral Legendary called Baku. They aren't trying to 'counter the P2W argument,' they're simply releasing cards.
you got some serious reading comprehension. let me help you. read again what i wrote, now slowly and sentence after sentence.
I read what you wrote several times. It’s still retarded.
Sometimes Blizzard makes cards that inspire whole decks, but they don't create cards with full complete decklists in mind. They didn't release Baku thinking, "We want to make Odd Paladin a cheap top tier deck in order to counter the F2P argument," for example.

and yet that is exactly what they did. raid leader and stormwind champ viable, ring a bell? i am still baffled that players think blizzard "didn't intended" certain aspects within their games, or didnt intend to create certain archtypes, like a bunch of cardgame loving hippies. how naiive can you be?

You're gonna need to back up that claim.
An archetype is different from a deck. "Odd Paladin" existed with the creation of Baku just as much as Even Priest with Genn or Odd Shaman. Genn and Baku are neutrals, they can be used in any class. To say that Blizzard created Baku specifically because they knew that Odd Paladin would be Tier 1 and wanted to "counter the F2P argument" (whatever the hell that means) is completely baseless.

ye go play baku in a hunter or lock deck, see how shit that is. Or genn hunter? that must be realy awesome F2P deck. those cards work well within certain specific card/class combinations. and i used the word archtype to give an example, not specific to empower my argument.
Look at that text wall, that thing is beautiful! Donald Trump would be proud!
Our media in EU let us believe that Trump was the inventor of the wall... Thanks to Youtube and it's algorithm showed me an documentation about the wall... It was astounding to see, that this whole wall is already there...
Now I think that he wants to protect specific areas, where's a lot of traffic, am I right? I listened to an interview and he said, he wants the people to come through the door not above the wall... I mean, by all criticism, is that so wrong?
It's wrong that those illegal immigrants are considered rapists, thieves and murderers by him.

Well you are certainly correct in saying that by creating Genn/Baku, they intended to create the Odd/Even archetypes, but to say they specifically wanted to make Baku because they knew Odd Paladin would be a Tier 1 deck and a cheap way to 'counter the F2P argument' is, one more time, absolutely false.

Arena is boring because they printed OP arena cards like dragon's roar. Literally just pick Warrior and try to get more of that than your opponent, then hope for good dragon rng.
I'm really curious as to how the meta would have evolved without the nerfs, since it was still a bit unsettled when they came. But now we have Blizzard's hunter dominated dark ages, and everyone be begging for the rotation and another round of nerfs for the next few months.
literally the only reason this expansions was "unsuccessful" is because last years expansions were so powerful. The power level has been toned down this year so once the rotation hits we'll really see how these cards shine. My only major disappointments this year is mage getting shafted over and over and the excessive druid nerf which made my homebrew druid decks unplayable.
