The set itself is good. The problem are the older sets which are currently in the format.
Blizzard has been releasing weaker sets for the whole year. It is clear that a less crazy standard is the direction that they want to go in but for that to happen the older cards must rotate out first. This set will have its time to shine once the rotation happens.
I think EternalHS resumes the problem here: i also believe they screwd up with the previous expansions.
Gosh, please if you have a limited understanding of English, don't torture yourselves by reading what I intended to state in OP.
You can find my old posts about MSoG, and I was called a whiner for criticizing Pirate scums along with Jade cancer, maybe some of them were you.
I say it was good by design, and I am not responsible if Blizzard is not making the necessary nerfs in time on purpose, everybody was sick of charge face and endless 20/20 jades but no actions were taken, which make MSoG look bad, it was good because the excitement you get when to play Reno; Kabal Courier; developing jades in which you could get punished if you go greedy etc.
No one can deny Kazakus decks were indeed enjoyable prior to Anduin DK abusement.
I'd say RR is a very flavorful and enthusiastic expansion. Balance is on point as well. The only problem I think it has is its inability to use the main keyword of the expansion (Overkill) to its full potential. But that stems from Blizzard's philosophy of not exploring "expansion flavor related" keywords further (An exception being Discover because of its sheer success). Stuff like Lifesteal, Poisonous and Rush are things that were supposed to be in the game long time ago, but they never actually try to make other more interesting keywords shine. That leads to a good 25% of the cards from the expansion dedicated to that keyword being severely underwhelming (Magnetic, Echo, Overkill).

Check out my ambitiously horrific custom expansion, Call of the Ocean!
I said it a lot of times before. Blizz himself stated back after Naxx that they don't want so much powercreep anymore like they printed in Naxx and GvG.
Then Un'goro came. Then Frozen Throne. Then Cobolds and Catacombs. And all those Naxx cards are looking like a joke :D Even the OP card himself Dr.7 is for example nowhere to be seen in Wild. He is just too weak now.
They definetly made a lot terrible design decision in the last year. The next rotation will be the biggest impact this game ever had.
Minus Dragon Roarrior, Arena has been noted to be in the best postition it has ever seen recently. All deck archetypes are playable, with more than a few classes being able to switch between them. Of constructed and arena, I have been enjoying arena far more, especially with the removal of MCT

I really really hope they nerf frostlich jaina and bloodreaver guldan at least for the sake of Wild. Deathstalker Rexxar I can still accept since Hunter need it badly to able to play the control game, plus it has counter-synergy with zuljin, so it is still ok.
T5 still needs to produce new content to continue making money. They aren't a charity after all.
I think we shouldn't be even allowed two write the words 'T5' and 'Charity' in the same paragraph. Believe me they are not. Do you know the annual income they make? I just quote here what I've written above as a response to these sort of claims:
''The current motivation driven by those who spend tons of real money on the game - which I do not criticise since it is their own choice - is not to have a better game experience, but rather to punish others by aiming to have a deck that makes others whine, which is slowly establishing a definition of satisfaction in HS.''
There is a reason that the high tier decks usually consist of many legendaries that are virtually a must to have to make the deck work, and of course the very funny drop rate of these cards; I only had pre-purchased once, and stopped doing that after I've shockingly found out that I had only 2 worthless legendaries out of 50 packs.
Deck cost has very little to do with deck strength. Odd Paladin is a good deck, even after the nerf. And it’s cheap.
What is the actual point of this thread? It is just a load of salt.
OP is whining and making terrible points about what a "good" expansion should be.
0% Value, 100% whining and crying
At least I do have certain points that could lead to discussion over whether I am right or wrong, your reply here is nothing but a juvenile attempt to fulfill your unnecessary satisfaction to get likes by calling others whiners. I said HS is a good game and this expansion is bad and unsuccessful at this point, given that we don't know what the next expansions will bring, and I also discussed that.
The expansion is just a month old. You said that Loas were interesting but disappointing. Is it possible that we've not tried everything yet? Do you remember in past expansions when brand new never before seen decks were discovered in between expansions, sometimes two months in? Do you remember Water Rogue? Do you remember the first version of Dude Paladin that went to Legend and IMMEDIATELY dominated the top of the meta for a long time? Dude Paladin came in between expansions, in a meta where almost no one was playing Paladin. All I'm saying is, give it some time before concluding RR is bad.
If you want some inspiration, try the deck in my signature. I'm not saying it's a good deck....I'm just saying it's something I've never seen anyone else trying out, so I know for a fact there is a non zero chance that new tier 1 decks are possible.

the only degenerate deck with a good curve and standard supporting cards which makes it actually playable. if you want to nitpick, do it properly. there is a reason blizzard is creating these kind of cards and it's only to show that you can get easy and cheap wins to counter the P2W argument. try playing either zoolock or smorc rogue without the ultimate legendaries, playable and possible to climb ladder with. but climbing to legend without it? yea sure..

Blizzard doesn't make decks. They make cards. They didn't make "Tier 1 Odd Paladin," they made an all-class neutral Legendary called Baku. They aren't trying to 'counter the P2W argument,' they're simply releasing cards.

Ignorance is surely bliss. Do you even believe in that simplistic view?
Blizzard naturally creates decks. Sometimes it is very bad at it if you want to look at mechs, discard lock or other stuff.
But for instance spell hunter is deck originally designed by blizzard. They created exactly the right cards for it (secrets, spells, legendary weapon, spellstone, recently even an additional hero for a class with actually one of the top 3 death knights).
Soon my dear fools, soon...
