Lets not forget deathrattle and secret hunter and midrange. I probably only lose to deathrattle and sometimes secret is lije 50% winrate but my biggest complain is just the fact that tgis game has turned into i pick a deck and class and always face Hunter class. Its not HS anymore cause theres barely any other opponent than hunter. No variety means nerf incoming.
No variety? There's currently 9 tier one decks, certainly seems like a lot of variety to me.
While I certainly don't want to suggest that the OP is exaggerating - HSReplays has tracked over two million games this weekend, and Spell Hunter only has an 11% play-rate, which is pretty low for any "most popular deck on ladder" candidate.
The nerfs are only a few days old, and the ladder hasn't adjusted yet. You can get an idea of how the future meta-game is liable to shake out by looking at win-rates, rather than play-rates - over time, the decks which currently have low play-rates, but high win-rates will tend to become more popular, particularly if they have good match-ups against the most popular decks. It turns out that there are at least three such decks to look out for - the play-rate for Odd Paladin has tanked since the nerfs, despite the deck continuing to post the third-best numbers on HSReplays; two flavours of Odd Warrior (Q and no-Q) are also performing quite well. The three decks currently boast a combined play-rate of less than 5%, but win-rates of 55-56%, with favourable-or-better match-ups against the most popular decks currently on ladder, i.e. Hunter.
So you're saying that you lost forty-three games against spell Hunter and even despite the fact that it's not even a majority of the 100 games that you played you never once thought to specifically adjust your deck to take against it?
Ever since Nerfs I've been playing nothing but Mage, that spellstone ain't shit against a blizzard or flamestrike maybe even a shooting star if you happen to play any spell damage first. I'm not saying you're wrong in the fact that it's annoying that the only Hunter deck being played is spell, I'm just saying only 43% of your matches were Hunter and unless you lost every single one of them it's not exactly a problem, and even then I think the first step would be adjusting your own deck instead of just saying that it's impossible to beat.
That moment when people complain about Spell Hunter being a deck with obvious, often automatic plays, when pretty much all decks end up that way too once you are very familiar with piloting the deck.
BTW, OP something needs to be on top. If it wasn't Spell Hunter it would be something else.
Hunter is 33.39% of the ladder, with Spell Hunter (10.08%), Midrange Hunter (8.55%), and Deathrattle Hunter (5.25%) being not just the three most popular Hunter archetypes, but the three most popular archetypes in the entire game. And then Secret Hunter ranks 6th.
Yep, not looking forward to playing a hunter meta. Might just sit this out until the rotation. Seem unbearable. Spellstone should have been an easy fix in the nerf package, increase mana, decrease wolves, no brainer. Deathrattle hunter is a harder fix because there are so many OP cards.
Im from EU and i had 14 out of last 20 matches against Spell Hunters. 1 of the remaining matches was a DR Hunter. Thats at rank 13...so yeah a lot of hunters. I mean, Spellstone was good before, but it could be handled with some...now the problem is Zuljin...with Zuljin the Spellstone isnt a problem...its animal companion, To my Side, Deadly Shot...the secrets...
In the end its a calculated Yogg Saron...and Yogg got nerfed since they thought it was OP...even when he did total random shit, often totally useless or contrproductive lol...

Im talking about variety in user percentage not in deck tiers. When 60% if my opponents are hunters then we have a problem. The so called op odd pally pre nerf i faced them like once every 10 games. But hunter class? Oh boy just did five matches 3 were spell hunters 1 deathratle and 1 midrange. Balanced game OMEGALUL

If 60% of your opponents are hunters, I assume it's to do with your rank. I've been watching a lot of legend players and the hunter games are few and far between. But in any case, a deck being common doesn't mean it's an issue. What you and everyone else seemingly fails to understand, is that most hunter decks are cheap to make, and not everyone splashes cash on a free to play game whenever an expansion drops. Some people just have to adapt with what they have, and since spell hunter is mostly common cards, it is usually what people have.
I pulled a golden Zuljin out of my bundle and I can't bring myself to play him... maybe I should, but, I don't want to be just another spell hunter on the ladder.

GLHF, I suppose . . .

Just this scrubs opinion
Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
If you’re facing too many hunters play control decks
Including this one?
I literally feed off spell hunters at legend with OTK pally.
That moment when people complain about Spell Hunter being a deck with obvious, often automatic plays, when pretty much all decks end up that way too once you are very familiar with piloting the deck.

Congratulations?

Hunter has 7 of the top 12 decks in winning percentage.
It's very reasonable to consider a Hunter nerf of some kind.
Yeah I'm starting to hate this game lol
It’s glorious!!! All these lambs being hunted down and slaughtered. Keep the salt up please. Your tears are delicious.

The biggest counters to spell unter were Odd Paladin and Druid (all types), both of which got nerfs.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.

According to HS Replay there is about 30% hunters at rank 2 on last 3 days. this becomes like the Shaman Meta 2 years ago.
Guess that we will see a nerf on January (Spell Stone, maybe Rexxar?)
Rexxar would be weird since he's rotating.
so is the spellstone
