i was thought that my favorites matches, as a agro player, are the mirrors or the agro vs agro since, the triangle of control wins against agro, agro wins against combo, and combo wins against control (in general) play agro vs combo is boring, because is too easy play agro vs control is frustrating and, in my personal experiencie, the matches that i most enjoy are the mirrors or agro vs agro (when no one start godlike) and fights the board turn per turn
First of all, seeing the aggro player agreeing that combo decks are annoying and unfun to play against (i do admit that they CAN be fun to play) is good for my hearth, but anyway my favorite kind of matches are super Long grindy games when you Need to have anche actual gameplan with the FINITE resources (value, boardclears) that you have, you need ti manage fatigue well and each player has a chance to win without any sort of inevitability,i think these are the most fun, skill expressive games (you know, you actually get to play your deck so bad draws, while they still affect you,are not as important)
Against aggro as a control deck. Feels good getting all answers when needed. Once you make it to late game, it’s normally easy sailing, with the opponent conceding at full health. For me, that’s a good game.
Im not playing aggro very much recently but aggro vs aggro is pretty fun to play. Also control vs control where you get to fatigue is pretty interesting
Spell hunter mirror. First trade zombeasts for a few turns, then usually trade ZulJin until someone dies. Rod of Roasting should be playable after both Zuljin with no winner.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Playing control Mage against auto-pilot Odd Paladin (pre-nerfs), with Stonehill Defender and Dragon's Fury x2 or something similar as starting hand. I particularly love when I manage to Dragon's Fury and Arcane Tyrant x2 in turn 5. After that it's easy sweeping, drop some big minions, Jaina DK and bye bye my hyperdisgusting sweet Uther. It's a nice plus when they spend the whole game spamming emotes while they think they got the control of the game (aka board flooded by hero power duderinos) just before you kaboom their whole board <3
Im a control player, so im not having fun in HS atm. But i like playing vs control aggro and mid. I hate combo decks, i cant do anything with them. And its soo boring playstyle. You try doing the same stuff over and over again, and just trying to draw cards with zero to little interaction.

I hate playing priest, but playing Thief priest vs Quest priest, where I get to steal his Amara and my opponent manages to get a Benedictus and we play multiple copies of these cards. Now these kind of 50 turn games are extremely fun.

Nothing like blowing people up with 50+ worth of Spectral Pillager damage, a full board of Rags, or a Defile knife juggle animation that continues 2-3 minutes after a person has technically been killed. ;)
Nothing like punishing players with memes for not trying to actually kill you & close the game ^_-

Control vs Control. Otk decks should not be there.

Otk vs control
Agro Vs control
Midrange Vs control
Yup, I love control decks, and I have a winrate of 72% with my renolock, standard control is a joke, it's just stall and standard overall is just lame
Oh yea and
Standard decks Vs wild decks (IF YOU PLAY STANDARD IN WILD IDK WHAT YOU ARE DOING)

Good old control priest vs control warrior super fatigue games back in 2015
Legend with : S65 Freeze Mage, S57 Maly Gonk Druid, S57 "Okay" Shaman, S53 Boom-zooka Hunter, S53 Maly Tog Druid, S52 Wild Tog Druid ft.Blingtron, S50 Quest Rogue, S49 Dead Man's Warrior, S41 Wild Clown Fiesta Druid, S41 Hadronox Jade Druid, S40 Wild OTK Dragon Druid, S35 SMOrc Shaman, S33 Jade Druid, S22 Control Priest, S19 Control Priest
The matches I win and BM are most enjoyable for me :D
Agreed that aggro versus aggro is one of my favorite types of mirror matches.
Another one I really like is Frost Lich Jaina versus Frost Lich Jaina (if both players get to play her roughly around the same time).
Really forces you to think creatively and make weird trades just to get that Water elemental each turn.

games that are decided by not mattering what the other player does
i love the fun and interactivity there
Lol, as if BSM isn't autopilot.
The ones where i force spamming aggro douches to 15 minutes defeat >:D
Mill (warlock/druid and of course rogue) against any greedy control or combo deck.
You want to be greedy? let's mill that shudder/Lyra/any DK/win condition of you, and die of fatigue damage. shall we?
Meme OTKs vs control decks.
