The timing of these nerfs is the most annoying part to me, people just crafted new decks after the expansion. Problem with these nerfs is they didn't weaken archetypes, they destroyed them completely. You can't replaced a nerfed card with something else so you'll have to change the deck entirely, thus costing more dust should new cards be crafted.
none of these cards or decks affected are new. they are all old, and some rotate to wild in April. this is good for the meta. change is good.
No , only Quest of Druid was refunded so in this case only Kingsbane weapon will be.
The full dust refund for the Druid Quest had nothing to do with a nerf to a single card. It had everything to do with a change to a game mechanic. There will be no dust refund for Kingsbane.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Community: "What a garbage game, change the polarization, nerf Druid and Kingsbane and Odd Pally and Shudderwock!"
Team5: "We've listened to your requests and looked critically at the problematic cards. Here are our nerfs!"
Community: "Now refund us in dust for all the cards that were part of the deck that included the nerfed cards!"
Here we go again. It's not enough that Blizzard decided to listen to the community, the community demands dust for basically all cards in these decks.
You could make an argument for Kingsbane, this I believe. However, Kingsbane on his own, was never problematic. It was his interaction with Leeching Poison that made it frustrating to play against. So, they nerfed the perfect card. I believe Kingsbane could still be playable, but needs to be more on the Control-side now. So why offer refunds for Kingsbane?
Same goes for Shudderwock. That card is not dead now, it's just less degenerate this way. So they nerfed the perfect card. And don't even get me started on Druid. The nerfed cards are in EVERY deck, so you wish to get refunded for EVERY card? And for Odd Pally?
They nerfed the perfect cards, and we know it. Thus, they follow policy to not refund other cards. It's not that strange.
I prefer a healthy game over increased dust refunds and imo these were good cards to choose for nerfs because they target the crucial points of oppressive/uninteractive decks. I miss some nerfs to the insane hunter powerlevel though but hopefully the meta will figure out a way to balance these. Until then I probably gonna stick to playing hunter
They also should refund cards when they print tech cards. Why the hell I had no chance to refund all my pirates when they printed freaking Golakka Crawler? Or all dragons when they printed freaking Dragonslayer. My Deathwing clearly became worse!
PS. They also should refund all cards that go wild... I literally can't play them in standard!
You could simply not craft a deck that gets destroyed if a single common card gets nerfed.
Leeching was the Obvious nerf for Kingsbane Rogue. A single common card shouldnt be an almost auto win against a large amount of control decks the second it is draw
Fair system is when one card Nerf heavily impacts an archetype based on 1 card in this case Kingsbane.Remember Quest Druid refunds?
So, how much dust should you get and based on what criteria? Which version of Kingsbane Rogue are we talking about? The one on VS/Tempostorm? One of the many listed on Hearthpwn, some of which are pirate-based? My own homebrew version which has different cards? Which cards in those decks should I get a dust refund for? Can I make 18 different versions of Kingsbane, all with completely different cards except for Kingsbane, and be entitled to a dust refund for 504 cards because of the nerf to 1? Can I throw 2x Leeching Poison into every Rogue deck, even ones without Kingsbane, and expect a dust refund for those cards too?
Please explain how this would be more fair than simply giving a dust refund to the one card that was nerfed.
And that's with class cards. Imagine Blizzard refundimg my whole Shudderwock Shaman, Even Paladin, Zoolock, Even Shaman, Tempo Rogue and Stonehill Defender just because they nerfed Saronite Chain Gang.
All you people complaining about your entire deck being destroyed, stop playing the game for a while and come back when someone more intelligent than you has created a great deck and you can just mooch off of their success.
Nice nerfs to the most degenerate net decks. I don't think they have killed any of these OP decks, but leveled the playing field to encourage more creative deck building.
Wild growth is the only one that probably won't see much play anymore. It also takes away from druid class identity but it isn't a necessary card in druid decks.
Wow, people are short sighted. I am happy they don't nerf the legendary cards. Why? Because legendary cards plays a role in more decks than a single archtype.
Kingsbane is played in wild as a damage-dealer in a pirate rogue deck. The deck doesn't depend on lifesteal. Grumble can be played in more decks than Shudderwock combo decks.
So get over yourself. People played an archtype that got nerfed and people crafted cards to play strong decks. Well, buhu... that's the chance you take. No need to punish other players who you legendary cards in other decks just because you want dust.

Exactly

Bullshit post. Suck it, OP.
these refunds hinder a fast and reactive balancing strategy. So dumb refunds and react quick to problems for a more dynamic game experience
you can still play kingsbane in an aggressive deck, or one that actually plays tempo cards.
you can still play shudderwock in midrange shaman decks (that might exist now that druid is less oppressive)
you can still play druid (obviously)
and you can also play odd paladin.

Anyone who thinks they deserve compensation for being a meta net decking scumbag can go play hello kitty island adventure

Watch KB Rogue return, just like Quest Rogue did.
I’m so happy with the nerfs! As for compensating the players, it’s karma for degeneracy. Deal with it..
Dibbity don't touch that!
Most of the decks weren't new, in fact, most of the nerfs targeted the old decks that refused to change with the meta

LUL. Rename the post "odd paladin players forced to think and adapt: panic and chaos ensues".
OP you've been gifted creative time, now use it. No one is shedding a tear for you, nor the fact that the game wont be "84%WR Ez NetDek LADdder."
