Rexxar is far more broken. I know zuljin usually fills your opponent board with minions but what else really happens? Except for secrets as well. A huffer or 2 charging your face? I've played quite a few matches against hunter and it's usually just strong. Nothing else. If secrets are also a problem try not to activate secrets in play for lower zuljin value.
They should restrict decks to only one hero card so Hunter (and I guess Warrior and Shaman?) has to choose. I've been playing Chief Inspector (the secret killer) in my control decks to GREAT effect. There is nothing more satisfying than AOE the board and wipe the secrets after a Hunter plays Zul'jin... trust me, it will bring joy to your day.
They do a round of nerfs from time to time, but I can't remember any time where Blizzard has done the opposite, and buffed extremely weak cards. Why is that?
The interaction has been around for a bit, but I don't know the answer: Will Shudder lose stealth if Lifedrinker's battlecry activates after Shudder gains stealth?
Sad? It was the very first legendary I packed from witchwood and I am pissed that the nerf won't keep the deck the deck permanently in the dirt. It's easily the most frustrating deck to play against since jade druid.
Come on guys, can't you finally give up on infinite decks? Aren't they boring after some games anyways? For me they are. It's cool to get it off a couple of time and win but then ... it feels like monotony forever. Why not try new shudder decks, actual intersting decks that win differently and play differently. Like using Shudder with Krag'wa for more Instable Evolutions! (okay, you got me, another infinite combo haha, but a not too broken one, because Unstable Evolutions are still fairly random and don't win you the game immediately, and you never know what you get!) or play some tempo variants just to get off some cool Battlecrys - Like Zul'Jin reapeating strong spells in Hunter. Shouldn't that be Shudderwocks place? A fair effect and usage like Zul'Jin? Not broken, but still strong? I really love the nerfs and the way Blizzard is answering EARLY to the community.
Shudderwock still lives. The infinite combo deck might be dead, but that doesn't mean other combo decks, or hell just "normal" Shudderwock decks, can't exist. It's still a strong card.
Because Blizzard is afraid to disrupt the meta bye changing cards (that's also why nerfs are so rare). Moreover, they did some buff in the past, but they all ricochet against themselves: examples of what I'm saying are Molten Giant and Murloc Warleader, both buffed and then nerfs for their tremendous impact on the meta.
I agree they should buff some Trash-tier cards (we are talking Purify level, which could cost 1 mana less), but I don't count on that too much.
Yeah without Kingsbane rogue Big Priest, which IMO was the worst deck of all in wild, will be rampant. Why couldn't they just add a nerf to barnes in with this patch?
Just one Shudder is alright in both control and tempo shaman decks even after the nerf. The battlecry is so powerful that this card will definitely see play.
Looks like your options are limited on who to play.
Grumble will never be on the board, it will be in the hand. So from your counters, reckless fury and deadly shot are maybe the only real counters.
Looks like there is enough options after all.
It isnt just Grumble you have to protect. A stealth Shudderwock is sitting on the board before you play Grumble the first time. You cant play both in one turn.
1. Crushing Walls will kill the stealth Shudderwock. 2. Warlock with Cataclysm,Unwilling Sacrifice, Twisting Nether orShadowflame with a large Minion on board will kill the stealth Shudderwock. 3. Priest with Psychic Scream shuffles the stealth Shudderwock. 4. Any class that has Deathwing will kill the stealth Shudderwock. 5. Mage with Dragon's Fury and Flamestrike, Blizzard, or Meteor in the deck will kill the stealth Shudderwock.
They should nerf DK Rexxar instead, Zul'jin is fine.
Indeed.
And the most fun too.

10 mana cards in none druid decks should win you the game

Just dont play against Mage because of Flamestrike and Dragons Fury. Dont play against Hunter because of Deadly Shot, or Crushing Walls. Dont play against Priest with Psychic Scream or Mind Control to take your Grumble, Worldshaker. Dont play against Warlock with Cataclysm,Unwilling Sacrifice, Twisting Nether orShadowflame with a large Minion on board. Dont play Warrior with Reckless Flurry. Dont play against Shaman who will Hex your Grumble, Worldshaker. Dont play any class that has Deathwing.
Looks like your options are limited on who to play.
If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
Or you could play that midrange shaman that uses shudderwok as a finisher instead of infinite value
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
That is fair. Such massive changes require sceptisizm :D

So that OP can be hunted down.
