I am not sure... I like the collection-building aspect of the game, maybe I would enjoy it again? Or I would just be too frustrated for not being able to play the decks I want...
I don't understand if its related to my post. Feels like you copy-past that sentence to all salty threads...
Of course it's relevant. Don't play stupid.
That's the undercurrent to the entire topic based on the way you phrased the OP. You're playing the game right now because of the effort you put into your collection. Not because you enjoy it.
If you don't want to play, stop playing. Who cares about the size of your collection. It'll be there for you when you get back.

What about new expansions? The size of my collection decreases in time so it won't be there when i get back. You cannot understand from this post if i want or don't want to play..
should my collection be deleted and with no way of restoring it (without a lot of time/money)... I would stop playing. I like the game, but I like the state of the game I have more. I have the freedom to relative easy make any deck I want to play due to a large collection build since beta and the dust reserve I have for a couple of legendaries. Was this to go away, so would my interest
Funnily enough, although I’d be hugely pissed off at losing my beautiful collection, I think I would enjoy the game MORE. The feeling of starting from scratch and having to patch together a deck on a limited choice is what I love about arena, and I think it’s kind of what is making the game the tiniest bit repetitive for me at this stage. I’ve built up enough resources at this point to get whatever I bloody want - I think I have close to 50k in dust in goldens or something stupid like that, and blew 10k gold on a whim the other day and didn’t even feel like it was a major decision, plus have like 30k dust anyhow), so the collection aspect is totally covered. I don’t craft what I’m missing JUST to enjoy the feeling of opening something I don’t have.
As a new player, I’d absolutely smash arena, and have a ball laddering on some half-baked deck. So yes, I’d continue playing. I’d also be suing blizzard for a squillion bucks to compensate me for my lost resources :P

I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.

Remember pokemon, victory is not the only reason of battle. Hearthstone is mostly a collection game. I never play ranked or arena, you cannot know what I like which means, you cannot know if i want to play or not.
I wouldn't for sure. Not only would I lose all my pity timers and Wild collection, but I'd also lose all the adventure content that I got for gold. Paying dust for adventure cards is a terrible deal I'd never endorse in.
Collecting is fun, but only once. Being a new player for the second time in HS is arguably more miserable than being so for the first. At least during the first time you don't know exactly how badly you're being shafted.

I am in a similar position. After grinding to 500 wins on a few classes last expansion and finding myself beyond the ranks you can get away with new player-like decks, I am currently chilling out in Casual so I drop ranks and can have some fun trying to make every last card work at least once (I'm looking at you Gurubashi Chicken) without getting too frustrated at bashing my head against a brick wall.
Sadly Casual is just ladder without stars and is no substitute for low ranks.

I just wonder how many of you playing this game just because of huge effort for collection like me :)
No one is forcing anyone to play.

Probably no.

Is this a joke or what? Did you even read the opening post?

WTF? How do you know it's not both?
Invested way to much to start from scratch. If i got an itch id try a ftp account but probably wouldnt last long.
