So I REALLY wanteds to make Akali, the Rhino work in a deck, and built the following, which seems to work (I'm just shy of 50% WR at rank 10, while usually being absolutely pants playing Warrior, so I think in the right hands this could do a hell of a lot better). What suggestions would you guys have to shore up the early game a little and make the chain combos more effective?
I've neglected to take screenshots, but I've created some absolutely bonkers board states from turn 6 onwards, and frankly, once you get that far, it's virtually impossible to lose.

Yip is too slow in this deck, i think you wont let him down unless bommship or a turn after Dr.Boom, Reckless flurry is not that good since you wont get that much armor in a game, the spell stone is useless, imo you should add more stable cards to the deck (2nd DMH, 2nd Brawl, Town Cryer, etc...)

Yip is kind of slow in this deck, but creates loads of value if you recruit him after a hero card or just happen to stack some armour - you can also dupe your Shield Block. The only reason I don’t have crier is because of the negative synergy with recruit, and fundamentally there aren’t that many rush cards for Akali to pull, and you want to duplicate them with DMH. Spot on for the second one, I feel that could be a great addition.
I feel another weakness is the 6 mana taunt - I cant find or think of a better alternative. Spell stone is actually better than you think, you play a lot of weapons in the deck, and 3x 5/5 for 7 is seriously good value no matter what.
I’ll try it out with second Brawl and Dead Man’s Hand as see how it goes. Believe me, Reckless Flurry has saved my ass countless times against aggro. Just 3 armour is enough to stave off aggro decks like Zoo and Odd pally.
cut the sul`thraze, lesser mithrill and all minions unter 6 mana and add a grommash 2 bring it on and a cahrged devilsaur and perhaps cut one of the heros. i play 2 compies of dragonroar cause you have something on turn 5 mostly.
Omg the second DMH makes all the difference. Reckless Flurry was cut for it. Unfortunately, Grommash is one of the last classic légendaires I’m missing, so can’t include. I think I might just cut Sul’thraze, it only ever comes in handy vs. The hunter spell stone, so I might get Flurry back in to give some more clears.
I’ll try out the Dragon roar in a sec.
