Okay, I know everyone loves to hate on this game for some reason, but I gotta say.... I fucking LOVE rumble run. It's easily my favorite of the single-player-adventures so far.
For starters, for the first time since freaking NAXRAAMAS (arguably kharazaan), We actually got enemies who respond to our emotes appropriately. And not just one boss with responses to the emotes - ALL NINE OF THEM HAVE PROPER RESPONSES. It's like fucking christmas for flavor.
In addition, there are all sorts of little touches which make it so much more enjoyable. When you have lethal, there's actually a chance for an audio clue from your character - even if it's something you wouldn't otherwise expect. My guy said I had lethal when all I had was a Hallucination in hand - I hallucinated a Blessed Champion, which gave me enough for lethal. Or, when the enemy takes out their shrine, they acknowledge not only it, but also YOUR CLASS. Like, if they kill the frog shrine, Jeklik says "ready to croak?" or something like that. There's multiple responses like that. It's so freaking cool, such a great touch. I'm sorry but I can't emphasize this enough - Hearthstone has been lacking in flavor quite a bit, even with the single player adventures, and this really helps make you feel like you're part of the world.
And then there's the shrines - they give you three distinct ways to play for each class, so there's basically 27 highly supported archetypes in the format. I kind of hope they make a tavern brawl with these things.
And despite the shrines, it's still balanced! I mean, yeah, the opponent gets a shrine too, but even then, this is a legitimately tough mode, despite how broken your build can get. It may just be me being bad, but still, I really do think that this mode is pretty tough.
I don't know why, but I'm having more fun with this mode than I've had with Hearthstone in a LONG time. What do you guys think?
and you forgot that it is inasanely hard, and luck dependant, you can get easily counter by most of the champions.... i've all ready done 5 runs and couldn't make it in none of them... it's fun yeah but frustrating..
What is frustrating is that if you win once, you get the card back..It shouldn't be the case,it would be worth more if you had to complete it with all the classes..
There is no reward now after doing the first one FeelsBadMan
It's very artificially difficult, like it feels hard just for the sake of being hard and fucking you up honestly, like there are times where opponent #4 just fucks me up without lub cause they pulls out some bullshit interaction that feels ridiculously forced
It's very difficult to be particularly impressed with content you fully clear on the first try.
Paladin picking healing items beat 8/8 the first time I ever touched it. Without any prior knowledge of what was available in the mode.
After the Boomsday puzzles, this is incredibly disappointing.

Dunno i only tried one run so far and the AI ruined it for me. It seems like AI is programmed heavily to clear your board (especially shrines) rather than kill you. I was on 7th boss on a Shaman run and was absolutely screwed. Dead to rights, all the AI had to do was pound my face and I was done the following turn. And instead he wastes 30-40 damage clearing my double shrines and tiny minions and I was able to scrape my way back into a win.
Anyway I got rekt on the last boss against rogue, but even then I should have died like 7 turns sooner than I did.
Personally I'm terribly disappointed that you get the cardback after clearing it once... It's too easy this way... I would've have liked it better if you had to complete it with all 9 classes like Dungeon Run... Also, the RNG is Heroic BRM/Naxx level of cheap... I lost to Zul'jin and its stupid Secrets spam 4 times, and I also lost to that stupid Druid shine because he played like 40 mana worth of stats in one turn and I risked seeing a 10/10 Shudderwock's battlecry trigger 3 times... I suppose the other classes aren't much different... I'm certainly gonna try to beat it with all other classes (I did it with Discard Warlock because, you know,9 drops on turn 1/2 are pretty good) but I would've have preferred if,for once,it were less cheap and more "entertainingly" difficult...
Pretty good singleplayer mode, random at start, like Arena, love it. Bosses so cool, English trolls are so cool. Rng dependent, like all of them, but this one hhas OP shrines, some are really OP and early clear must have here. I ve done on 2nd try, 1st one was 7-1 and lost to Shaman with triple battlecries. And after this, i won with Shaman with that shrine, lul. So broken totem, if you have elementals. Kalimos is sooo broken.
Most funniest thing - Shrine upgrade - 2ble shrines - 5 Battlecries, it s so awesome, but dangerous on you too - Small indie company, 5 Krag'was battlecries delete your hero and turns you into Krag'wa:D Krag'wa takes your damage too, Zul'jin used hero power and attacked her, but no damage for her, idk whats happend, i won, but careful with 5 battlecries.
I don't think it's terrible and I like the cardback. I just think the difficulty is tuned too low.
Having said that, I tried two more runs after winning the first and lost both of them, so I suppose I could have lucked out on the first run.

Very good in theory, poor execution. It doesn't feel much different from a Tavern Brawl. Very much luck based. Last boss' "Destroy all enemy minions, gain 2 armor for each" is basicly cheating. Nowhere near fun, just plain frustrating.
I liked the Loa system tho, it's cool that they came up with that after bounties.
It's also poorly tested - I noticed a few bugs and seen bosses disappearing during the game, ruining all run.
As I said, cool ideas but poorly executed as a package.
I picked the paladin shrine that says "whenever you take damage, your opponent takes 5"
Warrior was final boss. Not remotely close.

Everything involved so much RNG is never fun when the goal is too win 8 in a row. Basically you need to get lucky once to get the only reward for the Rumble Run. The cards are fun, if only you get to make a deck with them rather than getting random cards yet again. No replayability for me.
Honestly this content is terrible, who the fuck thought it would be a good idea, I just had a pretty solid rogue deck and got fucked and absolutely demolished by last boss loti, how are you supposed to beat a 2 mana refresh all your mana? It's absolutely ridiculous... I like to have a challenge but this is absolute madness what's the point of playing if the last shrine is so insanely ridiculous every time that you need the god had to even have a small chance, this shit really needs to be rebalanced or it will stop being played in like 2 days or so.

If you think, that this is fun, then you didn't see that fucking druid shrine.
EZ 2nd try. Fun but good lord the rng is real

this is essentially Dungeon Run but it‘s worse in every aspect.
blizzard did an oopsie with this solo content

People complain about the easy card back... all the pve card backs are easy anyway
The druid hero have stumped me twice now

Say you win 1 in 5, perhaps you rolled the 20% first try
