My control odd mage spanks kings and rogue IF I can get Jaina out in a timely manner and can get a water elemental to stick to the board, then it’s free sailing because they can’t move :) you can also tech a few freeze cards for the early game/if you can’t find Jaina. Also works well against CTRL pally and just about any midrange/Deathrattle Hunter. I don’t even run weapon destruction in that deck.
People still complaining about druid when none of their decks are even close to tier one and that Shaman can heal the same amount of armour that Branching Paths gives with a spell that's one mana cheaper, Healing Rain. But I guess druid is cool to hate, it's like people of colour many years ago.
Did you really just compare hating the Druid class in hearthstone to racism? Also... racism still exists. I don't know what you were going for, but try not to be needlessly thoughtless or offensive.
i've been playing kingsbane a lot lately and it's really the nuts if you know how to win each matchup. There is no real hard counter for the deck. It's not unbeatable though. If you know the decks weak points you can exploit it, and if you don't draw your sprint/raiding party then you can run out of things to play quickly.
When playing against control/combo decks that can lock you out one way or another, you just have to play the aggressive matchup, and raiding party/sprint with preparations make this really viable.
Shudderwock can be beaten before they get the combo. You have to hope for an early raiding party to get some pressure but i've killed them before turn 10 through a healing rain on multiple occasions. You just play the early game like an odd rogue and then finish them off with the weapon.
Control mage isn't that hard to kill either. Get some buffs and your DK and deny their water elementals with saps/vanish/doomerang and they just die.
I haven't even lost to a control warlock yet, but i haven't seen many of them. They go down really fast. I haven't had one skull an early voidlord on me though. That could be a bit of an issue.
Druids get smeshed, Warriors don't stand a chance, priests better hope they can combo on curve or they die.
Aggro decks are the counter, especially those that can go wide quickly. You can beat an odd paladin but you pretty much need perfect draws. Prep into raiding party, some 3/3 taunt pirates, lifesteal, and some fan of knives/vanishes.
At first I thought this thread was meh but now I'm convinced. All I see lately in Casual/Ranked Wild/Standard is Kingsbane rogue variants. Pirates and Mill in Wild and more Pirate Kingsbane in Standard. It feelsbadman to lose to and doesn't really have a counter unless you tech freeze effects.
How does gaining a billion armor to set up amalygo OTK or infinite taunt walls a matchup i "should" win? which is stupid argument imo cause every deck "should" win, thats the part of the game thats supposedly skill is outmaneuvering what your opponent plays.
But i cant magically make 50 armor on top of 30 hp disappear before druids setup whatever amazing shenanigans they're blessed with.

Not much malygos druid being played right now except maybe in lower ranks. Higher ranks will mainly see just taunt druid, and kingsbane is highly favored there

Against druids you can't be greedy with buffs, usually use them when you draw them and keep smacking face unless you have DK in hand and can play it soon. With minion pressure and early chip damage they shouldn't be at full health with any high amount of armor.
Vanish deals with big taunt walls pretty well and will burn some of them. If they get deep enough to summon multiple taunt walls then your window has passed and yeah, you lose. Gotta go fast, prep those sprints.
Maly druid is a race which it feels like you win more often than not. Against Maly you can also do some shenanigans where you have a few buff minions on board, they spreading plague, you vanish, burning a potential combo piece and getting your buff minions back.
I can't believe blizzard just smacked these nerfs into our face, GLORIOUS!
Really good nerfs imo, and the best nerf for me is, of course, the leeching poison nerf. :)
It does not destroy the weapon, it just makes it less braindead and you have to start thinking now when playing Kingsbane Rogue.
Sorry rogue players, not able to mindlessly playing up to legend anymore. :p
The interesting thing is that, in theory, Kingsbane isn't dead. Just changed.
Firstly you can still have a card forever growing. They didn't nerf the mechanics of how it works. You still can get a 20/5 weapon that keeps forming.
What has changed is that you can't use it as a forever source of removal anymore. You can't just keep knocking your head against giants. You get two turns where you can heal and...that's it. You can potentially heal to full twice, so two renos. But you have to time it right. you can get bumrushed when your kingsbane is at low damage or you can get past their removal like a normal control deck and leave them with lots of threats and out of heals.
so Kingsbane will still be around. It just won't get to the point where it's literally invincible.

How are you getting decimated by druid? You should win that matchup

Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
