1. Not everyone knows how to build a deck for experimenting... Ohh wait. I mean like max 10% actually knows how to do that.
2. Experimenting costs a ton of money.
3. We have to wait 2 weeks to see if anything changes.
You are right but actually the real cost is time. I have no job and nothing to do, so I can experiment with things. I have just pre-ordered and had 0 gold when expansion hits and still can experiment and was f2p player until boomsday. Never bought anything before and what I only buy is boomsday pre-order and this pre-order. So I don't agree the "experimenting costs a tons of money" part.
TL;DR, The real cost is time.

Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
I mean you do know they only need rexxar to beat you right? the other 29 cards are irrelevant and only need rexxar to beat you and it's also fairly easy to do so.
Ive played a lot of hunter so I understand how these deck works and they are very predictable. Just watch tuturials on youtube and you will learn how to beat them. I have like a 73% wr against hunters. it is just a skill based matchup.
So since the release of RR i was expecting the good ol tradition of ppl experimenting new decks like they used to. Except i played Ranked Standard Tavern Brawl Casual Standard and Ranked Wild. 75% of my opponents were Hunters and always the new op spell hunter.
Is there a reason for it or are HS players just close minded? Im running Chief Inspector in every deck now. Thats sas but i guess im just gonna start running a deck that wins against Spell Hunter. Cant have fun experimenting cause nobody else is.
Well why would people risk their gold on the brawl playing some weird flamboyant meme deck that won't work? They are not close minded, just intelligent, people don't like to mess around with their money, even if it's virtual money with no real value outside of the game.
Also people like to win, yes you play to have fun, but everyone likes to win... And today Zalae said on his stream: "On average an old deck with no new cards (or maybe 1 or 2 really strong ones) is way stronger than a day 1-2 new archetype deck".
Thats what I did with my Maly otk shaman and got 7 and 8 wins. Id rather have fun than win
there is new but same decks just added like 1 or 2 cards that not experiment. Think warlock least is different I seen someone play same deck as me which seems weird rogue has pirate them mage big spells get rag and win or jania
i jutsaw thijs with new shaman deck . But mostly hunter I see every time I go to ladder
I tried wild reno quest priest with Mass Hysteria and Seance, guess what? Seance with N'zoth or Amara is GREAT, with Thaurissan u can nzoth and seance at the same turn, or you could seance amara for x2 fully heal +reno.
Seance was great in the deck, Mass Hysteria is just a good Another AoE.

Maybe if you have kids. But other than that? I get back home at 7 pm or later. Get out at 7:40 am. Fall asleep 23:30. Doesn't matter if I play 1 hour or 2 hours. I just want to try something new. At gyms sessions, while on a treadmill I stick to decks I know so I am actually able to make reasonable plays. I don't think it's all about time. People just don't give a shit about experimenting cause they've got no idea how fun can it be. It's all about the comfort zone and money really.
The problem with experimenting is u lose a lot to meta boring as decks and you also can’t experiment if you’re opponent plays like fucking snail when I call every fucking card he plays . They need to implement something that detours people from roping every turn like losing ranks like if they win while roping the get stars but lose ranks and they fall past the spot that u can’t go past.
If you aren't considering purchasing another brawl ticket, you're going to use the best deck you can so you can get maximum value from the free ticket.
You either have too much disposable income or are an idiot if you're willing to throw away a free ticket that would usually cost £1.99 for the sake of "experimentation", considering you can experiment for free in casual as much as you want.
Mother#()#)(% TallAr92 already posted a much more concise version of everything I wrote so #()$%#)( what I wrote.
INSTEAD I'll write this:
On top of Tall's comment, Last year's set was VERY strong compared to this year's set. This year's sets were put at a lower power level. A LOT of this set in partcular are full of ideas that aren't fully complete and need a few more cards. This entire year is waiting for last year to rotate out.
It's trying to forge into a new way to add SOMETHING to the table, but without hyper power creep, it's not going to outrank the old cards.
So on TOP of people not affording the new cards, on TOP of most people not being deck creators, on TOP of many people waiting so that they don't screw up their dust supply, we have an atttempt by Blizzard to reset the power creep by NOT power creeping the new cards, which means we're stuck with the old ones the strongest until Spring.
At least we hope so. If it's shown that the new cards can be tuned to be stronger..well.. Remember how the Kobold's meta and the early Witchwood meta looked the same? Here's to hoping that doesn't happen.
People still crying about Net decking in 2018, seriously. Let's not pretend you have to be some sort of genius to figure out what works in HS. All you complainers, how many tier 1-2 decks that no one else figured out has your name on it? Go on I'll wait
i mean not everyone has 200 spare bucks to spend on day 1 of expansion, some like us didnt have money or time to farm, ie i only opened 16 (plus the 6 free ones) packs because this was a really busy second half of the year and i couldnt farm plus i also needed to spend my money on rl basic stuff, and the new hunter is sort of cheap, only one new legendary needed, if you already own subject 9. and it can also be played without subject 9 , so people craft zul'jin and play spell hunter because it's the new deck that they actually can afford, give it a couple of weeks and people will be playing something new

Being really innovative is hard, and experimenting with uncertain stuff can be frustrating on the long run.
I only Play Paladin, and new paladin cards and decks are crap,so i still play my old Even Paladin.
This exp sucks unless you like to play Huntard.

Have fun losing to literally 1 card out of hunter, namely Deathstalker Rexxar
Some people just care about winning - it is sad, but true.
Why ppl meet such decks an all i meet are druids...Taunt Druids, OTK Druids, Dinosaur Druids...druidruidsdruidsdruids....man wtf
New decks with one card in it amaz lol 😂
there is new but same decks just added like 1 or 2 cards that not experiment. Think warlock least is different I seen someone play same deck as me which seems weird rogue has pirate them mage big spells get rag and win or jania

With a new xp out, i'm experimenting more then my sister did in college.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Every expansion it's the same conversation, most people don't spend money on HS and can't experiment with cards from 6 packs, get over it
