So, I know this card is pretty great but it's also near the end of its standard lifecycle. My question is, should I craft this now and use it for the next four months (and in wild potentially) or should I spend the dust on something with a longer lifespan (I have Zuljin already), Cheers!
Personally, I think he is a lot of fun and worth the craft (I only crafted him recently). Still, it depends on what you want with the game. Regardless, any hunter deck (other than odd, but don't do it, it doesn't work!) is stronger with DKRexxar in it.
It all depends on the state of your collection and if you play wild. If you have a deathrattle hunter deck that is only missing Rexxar go for it. But if your missing lots of cards from it and are missing other key cards in your collection it might not be worth it at this point.
Edit after looking at your collection you are missing Kathrena and it only shows 1 drops in neutral. Not sure I would craft it if thats the case. Remember its always better to craft decks than cards.
Yeah dude, it's a great hunter card, and always will be. No matter what deck you build (excluding odd, obviously), it's the first card you put in. IMO it's the saftest craft out of all the rotating class cards, ever.

I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.
If you're gonna play Hunter in Wild at any point then craft it as it is literally the best card that HUnter ever got. no argument. If you just want it for now I wouldn't recommend it. Crafting legendaries for one expansion only just feels bad unless you have tons of dust.
The being said, playing Rexxar for the first time is a lot of fun, but after some time he gets reaaaaally boring

The collection seems bugged, shouldn't it show basic cards? And how could anyone gather a collection that looks like that, having so many essential class cards but no neutrals?
And I'd say Rexxar is an exception to that rule because it's basically a deck in itself. You can slap it literally in any hunter deck and call it a day.

Its possible to make a bad deck and put him in it and it would still be bad.
The advice to craft decks and not cards is sound. Its always better to have a deck to put an expensive legendary in, than a deck with a legendary and lots of filler to offset what you are missing. Zuljin is likely better for spell based decks. That leaves Rexxar for beast decks. The best beast deck now is deathrattle hunter. Without Kathrena it is severely hampered. He is also missing Houdmaster Shaw. All those cards will go to wild in the next rotation. 3 legendaries is a lot of dust to see those cards rotate.
I crafted him golden this summer so.. i dint regret it at all. Worth every single dust. If your goal is to have fun and enjoy the game, craft him. If your goal is to hit legend like a tryharder don’t. If i were you, i would craft him.
What do you mean if his goal is to hit legend don’t craft him ? He is played in egg and spell hunter
More importantly should we (yes I am in the same boat) craft Rexxar or Zuljin?
I took a look at your collection. The best deck for Rexxar is deathrattle hunter. You would also need to craft Houndmaster Shaw, Kathrena, 2 Charged Devilsaurs, and King Krush. Thats 3 legndaries and 2 epics along with Rexxar. if you have the dust for all of those and dont mind losing them in April of 2019 go for it. You dont have the cards to play wild so they will be useless.
Legendary cards are the cherry on top of the cake and can help win more games if you have the cards to go with them. Adding one to a deck filled with half replacements is like putting a set of solid gold rims on a Yugo.
Hey everyone,

DK Rexxar is basically the best hunter card ever released, it can't be wrong to craft it ;)

for everyones sake just disenchant it when you have it
I'm not online, it's just your imagination
It's so good, people were unsure if the upside of Zul'jin was worth the downgraded Hero Power.

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

You should totally craft it. If you want to give your opponents cancer.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Fixed
It's a very broken card and will most certainly rule the meta until the rotation. I have never regretted crafting it.
It's not rng if you call - Amaz
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Even if it's gonna rotate in a few months, the sheer fun you'll have from playing this DK will be worth it.
(It also goes to show that the Discover mechanic is the best idea that Hearthstone ever came up with.)

I have this card but have never really used it. Any links to good decks & guides to give him a go?
Thanks,
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.

Yes, do, it's a key card in a tier 1 deck, but, more importantly, it's the funest DK out there.

If you plan to play wild, definitely rexxar. He is so much fun and is by himself game breaking against Control
