How is it possible for zoolock to be meta since the beginning of hearthstone because of this utter joke warlocks hero power, there is literally every other hero power in the game and this one.2 mana draw a card just compare this to deal 1 dmg or summon 0/2 totem that heals what the heck is this warlocks hero power is the biggest and baddest joke ,this thing needs to be 2 mana deal 4 draw 1,this thing is literally rewarding you for wasting your resources for whatever the heck you want, why would you care you just gonna draw 2 each turn instead of 1 thats warlock, and having lots of cards sure dosnt make a big difference in some control deck right, sure why not mountain giant turn 4 ,thats fine whats not fine is turn 1 coin keleseth and playing 5 minions by turn 4 that are each buffed whats the counter play to that ,even without keleseth who can summon that much without giving a dang dong about whats gonna happen next and doomguard just compare that to anything else in hearthstone . 2 mana draw a card????????????????
I think most of the people above misunderstood this post. What the OP means is that the warlock hero power is overpowered and that in order to make it more balanced it should deal 4 damage instead of 2. The OP could have written it better and sounding less salty though.
While I agree that warlock's hero power is probably the best in the game (as far as basic hero powers go), I'm not sure if that is the solution.
I just don't understand that zoolock is still a thing after seeing it in beta , some classes have been pretty much the same since day one , I expected way more of this game back than. Every class should have gotten a control , aggro , otk , whatever deck already by now thats actually succesfull , but they can't seem to push archtypes in one or two expansions. Control Warrior has been dead for me since the release of jades I mean are you serious? Same with not releasing DK as a new class for me as a DK wow player since day one very dissapointing.
At this point I don't have much trust that things will ever get much different than they have been the past 4 years.
Warlock is only one who pay two things for hero power. 2 mana AND 2 hp...that is balanced cost for powerful effect imo. Before koft everyone wanted to see some healing for warlock cause he was in bad position (talking about standard). His hero power was bad in that time...no heals for control and zoo was like tier 2-3... Heals makes his hero power really powerful...
Now whats warlock's hero power do if u got 0 cards in your Deck.
What does every other hero power do?
How often do you actually find yourself in that situation?
The thing about warlock's hero power, apart from being good, is that it is really flexible.
Card draw is something that every archetype wants, which means that warlock can have succesful aggro, combo and control decks.
This is not the same with other hero powers. For instance, what do you want 1/1's for as control paladin? Or armor as tempo/aggro warrior?
It might be a stretch, but if you think about it, the only time when warrior had GOOD aggro/tempo decks was when finley was in them.
So yeah, in my opinion, hero powers are not completely balanced both in terms of power level and design, which is a shame given how integral they are to the classes.
anyway i played a lot of zoolock last 2 seasons, and it easily countered with odd warrior, sometimes druid. for me it is balance because you need 2 health, that's why zoolock run heal minions and control-lock run lifesteal spell

More cards = winning. Warlock is all about risk vs reward. You just have to learn when not to life tap for a card.
If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
