Zul'jin got a lot of people excited and so many will craft it, if they don't open it in the pack. In fact, many might craft more Spell Hunter cards, if they are missing them. And I'm not saying the deck isn't fun to play or that it's not competitive. The thing is though the deck will be dead for all intents and purposes very shortly, i.e. as soon as we enter the next rotation. And then they will need to switch to a different deck and spend dust on crafting that. Blizzard's business acumen is top notch.
Zul'jin doesn't need SPell HUnter to work. You can just throw in a bunch of good spells in any regular deck and jusst run him anyways.
Double deadly shot, animal companion, couple secrets and boom. Not to mention that Hunter will lose Rexxar in the rotation and will desperately need something to fill the void
I don't see why the deck will die. If anything, zuljin is going to be better when he is one of only a few hero cards. Rexxar is still the superior card by a mile.
Most of the best hunter spells, ie secrets, companions, kill command, etc, are always around. Spellstone will rotate, and pure spell decks will go away, but spell heavy hunters will be a thing.
Sadly you're right. And the real worry is, if Hunter ends up god tier for this meta, Blizzard will use the impending rotation as a reason not to generate a balance patch and we'll have to deal with months of an oppressive deck.
You don't know that. Maybe next expansion, hunter will get new spell-heavy cards. Maybe there won't be a no minion hunter, but there might be cards that reward playing spells, similar to what priest and paladin got now. You also only really need some summoning spells, like a new version of to my side and a new spellstone OR many damaging spells like arcane shot, flanking strike and kill command.
The new discard mechanics were a much better business move. Craft Clutchmother and the quest, from FIVE expansions ago, and then it all rotates out next cycle. The deck is also very high in Epics.
There's really no way to nerf Zul'jin, so I'm certain they won't touch it even if it's found to be unbalanced. That said, having played with him, I wouldn't say he is. It's a strong card, but it's certainly not enough to put Hunter in god tier.
We can dust the set after it goes to wild, also if we play daily we can get 40-60 gold+55 gold quest(average),and you can make 1 pack a day with ease,3 months until next xpac=> 90x100=9k gold,if you buy the small pre-purchase you get 107 packs+6 at release(and maybe 1 extra more for some event like we had this xpac) and you get 114 packs. After you disenchant the garbage cards+ golden ones you have everything.Blizzard business model is free=wait and have patience months and months and not free=get all you want in 1 2 days.I have a good collection and spend very very little."Patience is the greatest virtue!".
Rexxar is long-term value. Big beast after big beast. Kind of the only thing which will let a hunter win a game against an Odd Warrior. But it's kind of slow. Other than the 2-damage sweep, Zombeasts are slow. It's great if you want to grind someone out, but it doesn't do a lot to win a game when you're behind on board. Sometimes you'll get god-discovers, and can come back, but it's about having more gas, rather than getting tempo.
Zul'jin is a one-time large board. Like Gul'dan, but with a worse hero power attached. Two damage to any target is nice, but not amazing. There are certain classes this is strong against, and others which it isn't. A massive board that probably crushes any deck which doesn't have a board clear. ZJ is GG. Against a deck with board clears? It's not super impressive. The board can be dealt with in a single Brawl or Twisting Nether (lol, no one runs Twisting Nether), and the secrets aren't too big a deal. Against a control deck, the scariest part is the Deadly Shot and maybe Crushing Walls. Either way, it's big tempo, but not huge value.
Every single rotation, people say "Dragon Priest will die in 4 months without X, why are they printing more dragon synergy". Every rotation, it survives
anyway zuljin will become even better when rexxar rotates out regardless if spell hunter is still a thing or not.
and saying spell hunter will go away is a complete guess at this point. is it losing a lot of support? of course. will it get as much as its losing back in the next expansion? probably not. but to say the deck will just fade out of existence without know anything about the next expansion or the meta that follows is complete conjecture

Only to the people who have been brainwashed by Blizzard into only playing Standard. They pay a high price ($$$) for having to keep investing in an ever-rotating format.
The intelligent people may use the card forever. Now in Standard the next 15 months and now and forever in Wild.

Basically challanger decks in MTG lol
Ermh ya in like 2-3 month….thats like a lifetime for a gamer.
Strive for constant improvement and achieve your full potential.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

I don’t even think he’s that good in spell hunter. Much better in a secret hunter with a couple of Animal Companions and a standard beast assortment.

zul'jin isn't even that great, it's not a lasting effect like DS rexxar it doesn't have lasting power after it's battlecry like guldan
Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!

Salahhhh, don't tell them....

You know there is actually Wild mode?
The goal of all life is death.
Zul'jin is a very safe craft, in my opinion, the battlecry is just so strong. If nothing else, getting to replay a load of secrets is powerful.

Rexxar and Zul'jin are pretty much nothing alike.

Is this called bargaining? Have we reached that point?
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

is this a troll? if it is its shitty.
