to Zaar34: If you have more than 1 Gonk on the board, each version will trigger the 'another attack'. So if you have 2 Gonks on board, which is easily done with Druid, then every time you kill a minion with your hero power, you get 2 attacks. So you gain 1 every time you kill a minion.
If your opponent has 3 minions on board, it goes like this:
You attack and kill 1 minion. First Gonk triggers and grants an additional attack. Second Gonk triggers and gives you another attack. You now have 2 attacks saved up. Attack again and kill minion 2. That means 2 Gonks, grants you 2 more attacks. Kill the third minion and gain 2 more attacks. You use the remaining attacks to attack face and kill the opponent.

Ohhh, you mean you can accumulate more than 1 extra attack in between Gonk attacks?
That sounds very abusable and perhaps a bug.
I wouldn't expect Gonk could have more than 1 attack at any given moment, but what do I know

Well Gonk doesn't have any keywords so you still need to wait a turn right, making it a TTK, whereas Malygos is essentially an OTK.
Or am I missing something?

It should be intentional imo, the issue comes at the card text "it may attack again", which makes it sound like you would only get 1 extra attack. if it said "it gains an extra attack" it would be more clear, al be it maybe not as fancy.
It's likely unintentional, although I doubt Blizzard will admit it. Instead they'll wait and see if it's overpowered and nerf based on that, not their intentions.
Well, I been playing this and i'm 9-3 so far (around rank 5-3). The most I ever did was whack an armored up taunt druid 6 times in the face for 9 a pop after clearing a wall of taunts with 3 gonks on board and still had a few extra attacks remaining).
Got quite a few "Wow" emotes while I was doing the combo. Definitely not something anyone expects at this point.
I don't think it's intentional. Those who say it is, where did you get the info from?
I'd say have fun while it lasts.
Its exactly the same type effect as emperor thaurissan in wild. If you have 2 on the board it stacks and your cards in hand go down in cost by 2 at the end of turn...
So basically Druid doesn’t need Maly anymore , wow. Great Job blizzard.
If you don't have a minion on the board this combo doesn't work since they have to kill your minion to trigger Gonk's ability. Pretty easy counter for any control deck against him, whereas Malygos druid can stomp control decks.
To those confused here, Gonk himself doesn't get to attack, he allows your Hero to attack. For each Gonk on the field when you kill an enemy with your hero you get another attack. In hindsight this was obvious given the card text, but many people looking at the card (myself included) dismissed it as garbage. I still don't think it's gamebreaking given the obvious weakness of requiring a minion on the board to kill, but it's probably a T2 deck.
or you just play malygonk druid and if they don't commit to the board you just maly them tbh the gonk combo is actually easier to pull off then maly and does more damage most of the time, this also lets you burn people out next turn with maly double moon blast

I was thinking about this myself if I decided to craft Gonk. Druid is my second favorite class but last season all of the decks were so very boring.
I think it would say something like refresh if it was only meant to be 1 anyway the deck relies on the opponent playing minions and is easy to catch onto don't think it will be good but its nice to see people play new decks for fun
After reading the card's, "again", watching the reveal stream where Peter whalen said that they had gonk and 5 mana and it got too crazy so they bumped him to 7, i think he's working as intended, every gonk gives you an extra attack if you kill a minion with your hero, so if you have 1, you can only chain board clear, if you have 2 you get 2 extra attacks, if you ahve 3 gonks you get 3 extra attacks and so on and so forth.
just build deck that has big minions or freeze mage weaknes of gonk is you opponent has to have board of medium size. if you have no minions he cant gonk you. if you minions are big he dies before he gets to your face. and he cant attack if he is frozen.

To be fair, since you're not sure if it's working as intended or a bug, no one else knew either.
"You got Gonk'd" is the best term to come from this expansion and it's been live for less than 24-hours.
Also: sorry for your loss. That's a wild way to lose.
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

I think it's intentional. Why would they include Floop in the Feral Frenzy recipe otherwise?

i crafted gonk for the sake of gonking people since people called it unplayable,

The moment you realise they're playing gonk you just don't play multiple minions or only play high health minions, gonk is literally useless then.

Feels bad for people who crafted gonk, it's literally the worst of the worst.
