I know this might sound superstitious. But what are the chances in a hunter meta, to face 3 different handlocks as a priest? Then when you switch to shaman, you face 3 priests. Then I switched hunter myself to play 3 games against Zoo.(1st undertaker wins) This might just be unlucky, ofcourse. But I went from rank 1 to 3. Zero skills envolved, just hard countered.
It happens to me a lot too, I can see nothing but hunters then when I switch to a hunter counter deck I suddenly dont see hunters anymore. Maybe the matchmaking system calculates your win rate with a certain class and matches you against something you usually lose against until your win/loss is closer to even.
It happens sometimes like I dropped from 8-10 (which obviously is different than 1-3) Cause i ended facing more hunters and zoos than ever before. Then I switched to druid then to miracle and I still got crushed. Then finally I started getting better matches and I climbed up to 7. It happens but oof climbing back to one is much harder to do. Good luck. Also keep in mind a lot win streaks u get till rank 5 r because u get many easy counter matches in a row.

Given the matching system is designed for speed not accuracy, I'm pretty sure it doesn't take into account heroes let alone what type of deck they might be playing.
Most likely it's just good/bad luck depending on what side of the equation you are on. A run of three isn't really a statistical oddity.
I made an account just to comment on this thread. Yes their system is rigged. I've been legend every season and every season I have the same thing happen to me. I will queue as miracle rogue and only face handlock, then switch to hunter and only play against priest. I will switch to shaman and only play against hunter and then i will switch to zoo and only play against priest. Their system is rigged several pro players have also said the same thing,

The problem with this claim is that you have every chance of getting the better end of the deal, and yet sonehow everyone with a counter to your deck gets paired up with you.
Do us a favor, post the deck that you'll be running, so that we can play the counter and rely on the "rigged" system to get easy wins out of you.

Isn't it amazing that despite the fact that such "rigging" would give as many people easy matchups as hard ones, nobody has ever said "the system is rigged in my favour!"
But if you'd like to post proper stats, ideally covering several hundred matchups for each of your decks, they might be interesting to take a look at.
Just wanted to pop in and say its not just op that has been seeing this. A few streamers most notable Reynad has commented on the "rigged" match making. Athene has made a few youtube videos and there are also been a few post on reddit but non hitting the front page afaik.
On top of this there seems to be "some" data to back up the claim a few people have been tracking decks faced against sorted by deck with very different track records seen over the same season.
In the end off the day we can never know unless Blizzard comes out and says something but from a game design pov it would make sense. First off all we know that Blizzard tracks an insane amount of stats everything from % winning with X card in the deck to % winning of X class vs Y class at different levels off play. (Remember the old buzzard nerf was based around hunters winrate vs mage, druid and rogue at low levels off play)
On top of that we also know that most ratings systems tries to get everybody a 50/50 win record. There are very few games where this is not the case and thb it makes perfect sense to have a 50/50 system. Its not fun loosing 20 times and in a row and while you will always have the top end and bottom end with more or less then 50/50 then the majority of match making systems can get like 99% a 50/50 winrate.
If we add that together then it would make sense if blizzard would code the match making system in such a way that when you got up to maybe 60-70% winrate with a deck you would get alot of bad match ups to bring your winrate down abit. It would ofc not always happen since it also tries to make sure you have fast que times and there are only so many people that plays at about the same level and a ton of other factors but it could be an explanation.
Again we dont know, could be bad luck, humans only remember when things go against them and so on. Just wanted to say that its not just the OP and it would not just be blizzard out to get people but Blizzard making a system to make sure more people have fun with the game which would be quite smart.

it probably has something to do with win ratio with and vs certain classes.

Indeed "a few streamers have noticed this" is not exactly data.It would require a very large number of players to be playing for such short queue times and a match up based on rank & deck style. My guess is this has a lot to do with confirmation bias, where people notice the time where it has screwed them a few times in a row, vs the many times it hasn't, which is compounded by the small number of deck types being played.
Hey guys, I am one of the lucky ones!!! When I play during the day I use Rogue or Zoo and almost always play against control, when I play at night I use a Pally I made to counter aggro and almost always get paired against Hunter... Clearly the game is rigged in my favor. (or I noticed that in the middle of the day the percentage of hunter players is low and in the afternoon /night the amount of aggo players goes up)
This happens to me all the time. I cannot play handlock anymore cause ill be queed vs hunters. I can go 3 4 5 times as priest vs other control. The minute i switch to handlock ill face 3 hunters. So i just stick to priest the whole time now to avoid this cause ive gone on long losing streaks trying to counter the meta (gone from rank 5 to 3 and back about 5 times now)

With that kind of luck it's legend or bust for you.
Anecdotal evidence is not especially convincing to anyone who doesn't have the same expereince.
If you really think it is the case and want to persuade folks then you need to do some controlled testing. Log every game you play and make notes. Encourage others to do the same. Calculate the odds and margins of error on the sample size and see if you can make a significant finding.

The game does not have any intrinsic "understanding" of what deck counters what. You just have bad luck.
Hmm...no one ever seems to make threads about when they have streaks of hard countering the opponents' decks.
Get better

Seems like confirmation bias would be way more likely than the game being fixed, especially since it's 0-sum.
