Regardless of deck legend 1 is an accomplishment.
I understand those that state well it's zoo. And to advance this point, I took the OPs deck and played it at R4 and went on a 14 game ws before getting a loss.
However! What the people being negative don't get is that once you hit leg 100+ all decks are t1 or Stier with high skilled pilots. There is no experimentation in decks above leg500ish. The skill cap goes way up and you must understand counter queueing. The deck someone hits Leg1 with is fairly irrelevant, it's no easy ride regardless.

What you need to understand is that the earlier we are in season, the easier it is to have a high rank.
OP won't finish #1, will he even finish top 100 ? Doubtful. If he does, then I'll accept the fact that I was wrong and I will congratulate him.
You see.. the difficulty of high Legend rank climbing is the opposite of non-legend climbing. What I mean by that is when you aren't Legend, it's much tougher to get there early on in the season because the players are better, near the end the non-legend players are much weaker because all the good ones have already reached Legend. However, it is much more different to remain top Legend near the end of the seasons because all the good players who care about HCT points are going to try hard to have a good finish. So you are playing much better players who play a lot.
Proof is OP claimed on another thread that he hasn't played for a day and remained #1 Legend.. Trust me, if we were on the last day of the month, he would have dropped by 50 ranks if not more.

That's a bias. My personal experience says otherwise. Also, what rank do you think those "pros" are hanging out at early season? They are all already up in the high legend ranks. You're just justifying putting someone else's accomplishment down. You yourself state all the good players reach legend early in the month, thus legend is easier later in the month, this just backs up that legend+ in the first half of the month is high quality players. Kinda contradicting yourself there.
The only thing I agree with is the de-ranking, but not the quality of the players to get there. I hit top 100 last month 6 days in and didn't bother laddering the rest of the month and finished above 400. Honestly those pushing legend each month don't really care once at Legend, and there's still only a few 100 really serious players for me not to even have dropped 500 ranks over the whole month.
