Reading about the Blizzcon's Diablo show and that guy that remembered the 4years old april's fools joke, I realised that it's been two years in a row without having official jokes... What do you think this is about? Could it be Blizz changing an loosing it's capability of laughing at themselves?
I am looking forward to Diablo Immortal, and so is my wife, and so are my friends. Angry kids get mad online because it's the cool thing to do. If you don't like something don't play it. Getting enraged is completely nonsensical, especially when Blizzard still has a team working on Diablo 4 in parallel with Diablo Immortal. I cannot stand playing first person shooters. Should I have insulted Blizzard for making Overwatch?
On Topic:
I have noticed a decline in April Fools easter eggs, content, and fake patch notes since 2016 as well. Perhaps they had negatve feedback from the casual and/or international players who thought it was real.

Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.

I do agree, partially. They can have new types of games and go for new consoles (hey, even Hearthstone was a new thing and they nailed it). My issue with Immortal is that it looks very much like D3 (which I feel is missing a LOT to be a good game, but I don't want to talk about here), and, the biggest issue: You can expect to give a mobile game to a lot of pc game fans and expect them to like it...
For the healthy discussion, I love when blizz tries to expand it's own limits and create a good game that none of us expected!!! With hearthsone they took a big chance and here we are all talking about it and (most of us) loving it! I don't feel the same could happen with immortal.

Let's bring them back!! Silly simple things are fun!

You are missing the point entirely. It's not a new IP like Overwatch. It's also not a multi-platform game like HS.
It's a new instance in one of the most beloved franchises in the history of gaming (My favourite, and at least two more friends of mine), made for a platform most people either dont own (You guys dont have a phone? Yes we do, for calling people/sending messages) or dont care about. After a shaky sequel to one of the most important games of the last two decades, they build hype for a sequel and drop THIS.
By all means, enjoy it. But for some of us, it is not possible to be enjoyed, and as such, we are left out of a franchise we made possible.
And forget that bullshit of D4 is being made. THERE'S NO OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION. CEASE.

I think you're missing the point. I don't think anybody would be that angry that they licensed the Diablo brand to a chinese developer of cash-grabbing knock-off games, honestly.
Blizzard's big mistake was the way they announced it. BlizzCon is a marketing event where people actually travel and buy tickets to basically go watch glorified commercials, and Blizzard teased a Diablo announcement before the event. They demonstrated that they are completely out of touch with their fans, and you could argue that they pulled a bait-and-switch by teasing a Diablo announcement and announcing a generic mobile game that obviously does not cater to the crowd that was in attendance.
With the influx of fake news and eventually Trump's adoption of the term, April 1st fools were not as funny anymore, and they have been scrapped by most news outlets.
Dedicated parodies like the Onion and the Satiriks columm in Norway fill the void very well!
I still miss the Blizzard fools, though, some of them were very well done!

I'm gonna try it out as well, as it looks pretty decent. People are just upset because Blizzard handled it completely wrong. It's like announcing a new vegan dish on a meat convention. There is interest in it for sure, but it's nothing for the fans that came all the way over.

In continuation of the off topic conversation... Is Immortal going to be free to play?
Dibbity don't touch that!

I don't know, the whole game is kind of a joke lately.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
I was going to say the same: the entire game is an april's fools joke right now!!! Let's see if that changes with this new expansion...
I know it's out of date! I just remember because of the Diablo Immortal issue...

Last April (2018) it was about adding a murloc language to the game .
https://playhearthstone.com/en-gb/blog/21671837/mrlgrl-it-s-time-to-welcome-nerglish-players-to-the-inn
This things happen when you stop checking how to write things in another language.
Joke aside, I appreciate being corrected in my grammar so I learn it for next time!
Oh yeah!! Thanks!! Someone should update the Hearthstone wikia!
They said we will have a tournament mode in this game, probably was an April's Fool thing...
Do you want some jokes from Blizzard, OP? Here you have one:
It's confirmed: Blizzard believes the entire community is retarded. :(
"Aggro decks are some of the hardest decks to play in Hearthstone." Jesus Christ, someone kill me, PLEASE!!!
I knew there would be reaction to this video.
