Ysera is a good card, good neutral legendaries are always a keep irrespective of the meta. At rank 19 you could even add it to your budget deck and probably will give you value if your games usually go long. I would keep it, once I get a normal ysera, then I would disenchant the golden one. But I wouldnt spend any dust or disenchant any cards right now since new expansion is coming
No, keep her. She may not be used in the meta right now, but she's not bad by any means. I've played her in a dragon control pala to get to rank 5 in September.
Ok. Will do. Would you be able to send me that dragon Pala you're talking about so I can have a look?
Ysera adds one of her "Dream" cards to your hand at the end of each turn. Those cards will be golden too. That's kinda awesome, but of course purely for looks. Golden cards that create cards in your hand are extra valued for this reason. I've never seen or played against a Golden Lich King but because of this I would keep him if I were ever so lucky. I am meh about most golden cards.
Ysera is not part of an expansion and thus will never rotate out of Standard. She is one of the go-to cards for a deck that expects to be alive on turn 9. She delivers unfairly powerful cards that help you find a win condition. There'll always be decks finding a place for her. But, she's far from a bread-and-butter Legendary like Genn/Baku (who will rotate out of Standard), or Leeroy Jenkins (who won't).
The dust you get from Golden Ysera can be used to craft any normal Legendary. So, flexibility in deckbuilding now vs. good looks you will be occasionally be able to show off via a golden the vast majority of players will never attain.
Shudderwock means driving a clown car in circles around your opponent while he swings his sword at you. Half the time he chops you and your car to pieces. The other half you park on his legs and 40 clowns come out one by one, trampling him to death.
def DE it.. Ysera is a control card... control decks cost a loooot... they are not for a new player (unless you wanna spit several hundreds of $)... create good budget (aggro) decks... but do not DE it until January... let new expansion hit.. let meta settle... open new expansion packs with gold... see which deck are good... and THEN craft what you are missing...
in worst case scenario: you'll get 1600 dust from golden Ysera... if one day you need it... it will cost you the same amount... so except from shiny-shiny effect you lost nothin'... cheers !!! ;)
You won't pull dupe legendaries until you have every legendary in the set. As such, don't dust any legendaries until you're confident that you're done pulling packs from that set. Since you'll always be pulling classic packs, you should never dust classic legendaries.
So a F2P should never dust classic legendaries? What about The Beast? Millhouse? Nat Pagle? Yeah sorry dude but for a F2P you are unobjectively wrong. The point of the game is to play cards, having a golden in your collection that will not get disenchanted because "you never stop pulling packs from the set" is logic completely devoid of perspective. I'm not trying to rag on you hard but you need to have either empathy, or at least a basic understanding of what it is to play this game as F2P.

Sure. It's a pretty expensive deck overall though, so I doubt that you will be able to build it as a new player. But until R15-10 you can probably put her into basically every control deck (like Control Warrior) and get decent results.

Any useless legendary I would dust for sure when starting out. But Ysera has been a key card in many decks and is a classic so it won't rotate out. Also has been mentioned it generates other golden cards which are all neat. Unless you really don't care about ever having golden legendaries I would keep it because you'll never be able to justify to yourself re-crafting a golden legendary. And whatever you craft now will likely rotate out in a year or 2 and you'll regret not having your golden Ysera.
Ysera is one of the few cards in classic that has consistently seen play. If not in tier 1 decks it's always at least in tier 2/3 or meme decks.
Not true. Blizzard has taken a massive dump on attrition and value based strategies since MSG and with so many combo decks running around, they are worse than ever. The last time Ysera has seen competitive play must have been years and years ago. She's not even in the mainstream wild Big Priest anymore and that deck was more or less made for her
I'd say keep it. That is an amazing card that you'd want to have anyways, and it has it's own deck set, so you get these really cool "Emerald Dream" cards in Golden, that should definitely be a keeper.

Developed Hearthstone player, have played and beaten highly skilled opponents on numerous occasions. Not that ambitious on ladder. Only play off of win streaks. Love theory more than meta.

Most perdy golden card. Don't do it OP

I wouldn't. It's classic and that's a dope golden card. So much shiny value!
