As all the loa's are known (https://playhearthstone.com/en-us/blog/22629915) and most of their champions [will they be hero cards or just minions] are too (WoW lore) we have an idea of what the base flavor each of these cards potentially could be. The question is what archetypes will each legendary support.
Historically class legendaries do not synergize with each other, so it could be safe to assume both the loa and the loa champion will do different things in terms of play strategy, lets try and guess what those are.
Paladin- Shirvallah: we know this one, Spell focused controlly midrange buff decks. An archetype that has never really worked, and this card wont help it. Thekal: turned into a were-tiger in wow classic, going to go with a midrange rush type card with a cleave.
Warlock- Hir'eek: its a bat, so lifesteal midrange/control Jeklik: talk about a glow up for character design, turned into a bat in wow, mass silenced and summoned bat riders, seems zoo-ey to me, but maybe hard control
Druid- Gonk: loa of packs, supports a token arche Wardruid Loti: first canonically divorced WoW lore character, its going to be a choose one, which makes it tough to guess what arche she fits. I would like to say something that supports taunt, but I think that ship as sailed, hopefully she is the start of a new emerging druid arche.
Hunter- Halazzi: Big Beast support, prolly will have something with stealth Zul'Jin: hes dead, I hope he supports deathrattle some more, or is like a controlly board clear effect
Shaman- Krag'wa: he eats things, there has been a few consume shaman cards of late, but that isnt very interesting for a legendary. Maybe a gets bigger everytime something dies to it (attacking or defending) with taunt. Could fit a lot of stuff Zentimo: died and came back, spell based control card.
Mage- Jan'alai: Mage is in a spot where the arches are pretty inflexible, hopefuly jan'alai is something new for them. Malacrass: this one could be wrong, spell based aggro card.
Warrior- Akali: a rush card, supports the rush midrange thing. Gal'darah: he impaled a lot, he will be a slow control card, maybe something cool like a slow burn dot card (seems not great)
Rogue- Gral: I would like a value based assassinate type effect, but that seems redundant. Something that maybe makes control something rogue can consider. Pirate Troll: This is an entirely new character since Gral doesnt have anything besides a broken temple filled with naga in lore, its pirates though, so pirates.
Priest- Bwonsamdi: rez priest, everyone's favorite Talanji: Something to do with healing, depending on how heavy; midrange or control.
Well thats it, Im prolly wrong but its a start using flavor as a judge. What do you guys think.

I can't imagine none of them will have overkill.
Warlock will probably get a legendary with battlecry: deal 3 sage to a minion. Overkill: repeat this battlecry"
warrior prolly have overkill, rush, or some combination of the two
The warlock loa turned out to be wrong...
yeah these were guesses using lore alone. Was done as a game, not an expectation of accuracy
Maybe the priest theme / archetype will do something with shadowform. i think that would be cool
