I've read through the majority of you guys comments and I'm still torn. I'm hearing the pros and cons but, maybe for standard and wild, might create alot of interesting hurdles to overcome, but what about arena!? You think a 40 or even 35 card cap on decks would make arena alot more fun to play?

What difference would that make? Arena games rarely go to fatigue. You nearly never draft decks which are highly dependent on synergies, but merely take the best option for your draft (missing drops, high value cards, synergistic effects). Besides that the drafted synergies will work even less in Arena if you have to take more than 30 cards, I don't think anything would change, would it?
I think more minimum cards per deck doesn't make sense at all for Hearthstone.
2- 30 proved to be a good measure between variety and consistency.
1- When consistency is waaaaaaaaay too easy to get the game become boring quickly because the refined lists are get few weeks after release, like now for example, opponent play one single card or Baku/Genn effect show in start and you already know all cards in that deck.
2- 30 proved to be too few to promote challenges to play and build a deck and make netdecking a brainless decision.
More variety and decisions in games >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> consistency.
60 cards deck will make this game much, much better than now.
Nope. That is just your taste, which i respect, but it proves nothing about what is better.
You can still play Highlander and Thief decks and enjoy your own variety. Or Arena.
No need to subvert how the game works for everyone.
I think it's fine as it is. This topic is certainly worthy of a tl;dr kind of post, but mainly the things I'm thinking about are:
Current pool of cards - if starting deck size were capped at 50 for example, you'd need to start including so many mediocre cards to fill your slots to ensure good curve/draw/removal/whatever your deck does. There just aren't enough GOOD cards to fill those roles.
# of duplicates - so maybe we increase the number of allowed duplicates? How would this be any different then, except it makes Warlock much stronger (because you can just keep tapping away with less regard for fatigue)?
So in that case, would you need to adjust the starting life total because of Warlock?
As much as I'd like to see certain archetypes go away, this would generally be a bad move for the game.
What is the "correct" balance point for consistency vs deck size vs balance?

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Well the problem is that the granddaddy of all card games Magic The Gathering has no limits to number of max card slots total BUT 99.99% of ppl follow the simple rule of 35 or 36 cards and the rest are lands. So considering that in HS we have auto mana gain that caps off at 10 i think that the 30 card limit is a good idea.
If youve played Gwent, you know the best and most consistent decks have the least amount of cards. Adding more cards to a deck seems like a benefit on the surface, but it will make your deck less consistent. Also, control mirror games will last too long. Playing odd warrior is long enough with 30 cards.
wait is super boring and static tho....most of the pros that left HS for gwent already left gwent because they realized static games end-up boring you after a while..............
Brawl, Arena, standard and wild. It will bring more options, in turn you can use more of your collection instead of it sitting there not being used collecting dust (Haha get it?) Back when I was playing MTG I had 60 cards in my deck, mind you 20 of those cards were my "mana" aka lands but you had the other 40 cards to play with.
Yes but in MTG you can have 4 copies of each. So the difference is not that big with hearthstone!
So a 40 to 60 cards deck ? It could work if it goes by the rules of YGO and MTG but i dont realy see it as HS. What i love about YGO dat u have specific archetypes than have insane synergies with themselfs and 3 copies each is enough for consistency even thou pot of greed is banned ( idk what it does ;) . What works for YGO is that u have a Graveyard an Extra deck and card that can be played when/if they are removed from a game in dat duel. So when certain creature or card dies they go to GY than u can re-use it again with most of the archetypes. I dont want to mention what kinda of board u can make in that game cuz i would be here for days.
Also we need more sizable deck in game 60 is just not enough for me.

You usually want as few cards as possible in card games.
It's too late to change this. It would be an interesting Brawl idea.
I'd rather have fewer than 30
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
1. Games would be much much too fast on average and that makes the game far too casual and less stimulating.
2. Aggro would likely be wiped out entirely by better board control percent draw which kills new players who can’t afford costly control decks.
