Ich was wondering if we could work together to build standard Star Aligner Druid. I think it's maybe good on a base of Devilsaur Druid. Share your thoughts and Decklists!
I have tried quite a few different versions of star aligner decks, but I think none of them really can work above rank 5. (well, i'm always stuck around there anyway) However, if you just want some ideas to play with this card, I do have some suggestions:
1. Deathrattle Recruit hunter: egg, kathrena, cube, charged devilsaur..... I personally tried a version with mechs like spiderbomb, firework tech, mecharoo, and mechanical whelp. It was fun, until I realized that looking to high roll with egg / mecharoo+firework tech / dinosaurs hitting face is a better win condition. Another version includes garrion dragon and abominable bowman and some mid range non-beast minions, which is worse.
2. Taunt druid: hadronox, 1/7 taunt, cube, witching hour..... This deck has a higher chance to complete the combo of witching hour + cube + star aligner. However, it was less fun to me (hunter > druid xD). You usually NEED to drag the game super long, and might not even be able to win with your star aligner. Opponents that can deal with 20 taunts can also deal with the star aligner that comes after the taunts. Opponents that can't deal with all the taunts would have conceded before the stars align.
3. Charged Devilsaur druid: requires a lot more skill than the taunt version, much harder to survive the early to mid game. I gave up on this very quickly.
4. Cubelock: I think this would be pretty good if lackey wasn't nerfed, esp with the 6 mana boomsday card that copies all the demons you control. However, this suffers more problems than taunt druid, not only the star aligner comes after the primary win condition of the deck, the class of Warlock does NOT need more board clear.....
5. Resurrect Priest: Well, not even the good versions with crazy legendary minions are tier 1 decks and we are running snapjaw, injured blade master, and gurubashi?
6. Divine spirit Inner fire Priest: Well, not ev.......with 12 hp minions are ti.... and we are running snapjaw, injured blade master, and gurubashi?
7. I'm now working on shaman: Spell stone, Grumble, Shudderwok, and mummering elemental, how come I haven't realize until now??? The shaman class also has some good quality 7 hp minions, like grumble, kalimos, (and voodoo hexxer?), and good ways to manipulate your own minions, but which ones are the optimal combination is a big problem.
Lastly, just always remember, in the neutral class, we always have doomsayer and mossy horror for any decks, and charged devilsaur, mechanical whelp, and injured blademaster (, and The Beast?) for decks with synergies.
Quest druid was absolutely amazing during witchwood. The meta has been too fast for it to be viable anymore, but if it slows at all, star aligner is a natural fit. I'm getting my second one today or tomorrow from blizzcon bonus and I'm ready to experiment.

Hello there!

Here's something ;)
https://outof.cards
Without having tried it, the druid quest could be a way to go
.
Check the streamer chump ob youtube, he made a star-aligner-devilsaur druid with witching hour and cubes.
Dog's Cubesaur is also a pretty fun list, I've been running it for a bit now.
I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
I have seen some handmages with Luna's Pocket Galaxy running Star Aligners in the deck. Not sure how well it works though.
I do what I must, when I must. Know this well.
I made a Star Aligner Rogue within the deathrattle rogue package but in standard the Star Aligner thing is just a meme
ez 400 dust
ThijsHS is streaming the deck right now on Twitch!
But he probally says its invented by himself. His done that plenty on times ;)

Luna’s pocket Galaxy could be a way to go.
Dibbity don't touch that!
I made my very own Star Aligner Priest in this link.
Is it competitive? No. Have I had a blast playing it? Oh, yes. Give it a try if you'd like!

Another idea for Shaman:
2x discounted Snowfury Giant, Beakered Lightning (both Giants have now 7 health), Star Aligner, for 7 mana. Add either Murmuring Elemental for double damage, or Spirit Echo for repeat damage if the board gets cleared.
I don't think I have EVER seen Star Aligner actually played in a SINGLE game of standard!
I played a mage who did the Luna Galaxy thing. He pulled off the combo but it wasn't really necessary, he won through the usual BSM stuff.
