This supposed leak is fake. Just doing a basic Google search Secrets of the Sea is a novel written by Callum Roberts. The name is copyrighted already and there's no way Blizzard would waste money on buying the rights to use that as the title of their next expansion.
The leak does say it's a working title. Also Secrets of the SEVEN Seas. Combine that with the newly revealed card rewards for logging in during blizzcon (Secret Plans and Star Aligner, a notoriously 7-focused card)
out of all the things that are plausible, this might be the most plausible one.
If classic wow is really subscription based noboby would play it. At least i wouldnt. I'd much rather drop 60 bucks and be able to play when i want for a game that is substantially 15 years old
@HighvoltagezThere should be a card in Boomsday that predicts the next expansion. If you look at Arcane Dyanmo art you see this jellyfish like creature that could suggest a sea related theme.
Hella sketchy theory there as it relies entirely on there being hints of the next expansion in the first place rather than conjecture. Nightmare Amalgam was a prelude to Boomsday, but that was made fairly obvious by multiple hints during the Monster Hunt boss fight. With no such thing existing in Boomsday (As all the single player content is set in Boom Labs) it's certainly a leap in logic to assume that.
Even then the theme itself is rather vague. "The sea" can refer to a wide range of cards
Why is it so hard to believe that Blizzard would release an expansion around a specific tribe when they have already done so in the past (as recently as last expansion around mech tribe)? Also, what do people have against pirates? Are they just hating on the tribe because of Pirate Warrior PTSD? That's like hating elementals because of Frostlich Jaina.
just a reminder that pirates themselves aren't necessarily aggro. They are usually just based around weapons. Patches gave PIrates a bad name. #notallpirates

Actually, pirate-focused expansion doesn't mean dozens of pirates.
Pirate hero, (If this leak is true, I totally expect three hero cards - naga, pirate and vrykul), pirate themed weapon or two, pirate themed spell(s), some pirate themed mechs\beasts and 5-8 pirate minions is enough to fit into a pirate themed definition.
I am just hoping for aggro, pirates bring back fond memories. Without stupid AF Reno Jackson aggro will run wild. This is the meta I want, I'm not sorry about it. I can respect combo because at least they have a plan to win beyond 'don't lose' Stall decks are just sad.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Seas of Azeroth. Finally. Aggro is back - it's happening! Time for stupid ass control and OTK to walk the plank.

4chan leaks LUL
A sea themed expansion would be great!
I don't get it? please explain
I hope this is true, would be fitting with the watery gem they showed.
No Diablo 4? Just another class for D3 that we'd have to purchase no doubt. wah
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.

^ Ignore this guy.
No idea if reveal fake or real but that domain name was registered in 2005 so don't base opinions on that.
.
fake af
The diablo leaks seem to be a lot of stuff after they pretty much said there wasn't going to be much for diablo this year

I remember when 4Chan leaked the Westworld season 2 finale. It was all real.
So I trust them now.
