Couldn't find anything about it, so I apoligise if this has been made before. I found topics with issues about the game freezing - this is NOT what this is about.
I'm pretty annoyed and frustrated, as I've just lost two games in a row during a 10-1 arena run (so yeah, now 10-3) because of this bug. I've encountered it many times before, but this was just the last straw. You can link the salt thread, but I do think this is a bug that needs to be adressed - and no, this is probably not the right place to write it.
Anyway, the issue is: When people use either Cryostasis or Hyldnir Frostrider, the Freeze-effect breaks at the end of their turn, allowing them to attack the next turn. In the latter case of the games I've just played, he had two minions on board while playing Hyldnir Frostrider, and though those were just a 3/3 and a 3/2, it allowed him to trade perfectly afterwards. I haven't encountered it when using Freeze-effects on enemy minions. Anybody else who've had the samme issue?
A little additional effect (bug?) I've encountered in play-mode. It has something to do with the beloved Deathstalker Rexxar. In wild, you can get Giant Wasp together with Dreadscale. As such not an issue, as Stealth usually breaks after such an effect is triggered (with exceptions)... except that's not the case anymore. Did they change that? It was very little interactive having a stealthed "end of turn"-destroy everything, even though it applied to both players.
Did the Hyldnir Frostrider attack the turn it was frozen? If it didn't, it'll be able to attack next turn.
It was an Arathi Weaponsmith and Shattered Sun Cleric that were frozen by Hyldnir Frostrider. I'm actually not sure, if they attacked the turn the Hyldnir Frostrider was played. So if they didn't, it works like intended? I can't believe I never knew that's how Freeze works, having played for this many years - cheers. I'm assuming that's what happened, and I didn't lose because of a bug, but because I was outplayed by an interaction I didn't know ^^
After a player ends their turn (just before the next player's Start of Turn Phase), un-Freeze all characters they control that are Frozen, don't have summoning sickness (or do have Charge) and have not attacked that turn.
This rule produces varying durations depending on circumstances:
For enemy characters on your turn, the result is very simple: if you Freeze an enemy character during your turn, it will thaw at the start of your next turn.
For friendly characters on your turn, it depends on whether or not they have attacked that turn.
If a friendly character gets Frozen before attacking, they will un-Freeze at the end of the turn. This includes characters which were unable to attack, such as a 0 Attack minion or hero.
If a friendly character gets Frozen after attacking, they will un-Freeze at the end of the next turn. This includes characters with Windfury who have only attacked once this turn.
Thanks to your thread I know really understand why some of my minion were unfreezed at the end of my turn after playing Cryostasis. Till now I had just realize that 0 attack minions were unfreezed.
This is a pretty regular play by a more experienced player, you want to play tempo Hyldnir Frostrider with some minions on board and you want to be able to trade with them next turn, so you just pass your attack the turn you played Hyldnir Frostrider. Freeze negates one attack from a minion, it doesnt "freeze" them till your next turn, it only appears that way, since 99% of times those minions had no attack "banked up".
So this is just you not understanding the mechanic, not a bug. Im not trying to be mean, im just saying it is working as intended and it is good for you that you asked and now know how this works since you can use the play yourself and will know what to expect to happen when your opponent does it ;-)
About the Stealth, yes, they changed the mechanic a while back. Dealing dmg from Stealth no longer breaks the Stealth.
Great "bug" report. I had completely forgot that you could use the freeze effect that way. and I have been playing since closed beta, so I would also have been on the fence if I had lost 2 arena game due to it.

So if I were able to give Ragnaros the Firelord permalinks stealth, his end of turn 8dmg would not break it? I thought this was why the made it so that dmg effects would break stealth in the first place

I guess they changed their mind. Especially, since there is no way to give a permastealth to minions that dont come with it originally anymore.

To clarify, here the info from the Wiki :
