Although it is not mentioned anywhere on the cards I noticed minions from Power Word: Replicate can attack right away. The card says "summon a 5/5 copy" and as far as I know all summoned minions should get summoning sickness.
Is there something I'm missing there or is that just another case of Blizzard consistent inconsistency?

Have you experienced situations where PW:R let a creature charge? I haven't seen that happen yet.
The shadow madness gave the first one charge, I think.
It's very possible.. I don't play priest at all so I don't really know much about their cards interactions.. Someone should test that.. It could be one sweet reply against aggro decks.

True, when you replicate a minion that can attack, this minion will also be able to attack, they should change that though because all other cards where you replicate or copy like Faceless Manipulator are not able to attack right away.
Blizzard should change this, they could change the cards writing in which it also states that the minion can attack right away if the copied minion also can, or just kind of nerf it and remove the ability to attack right away.
I prefer the last one because i don't think it's supposed to be able to attack when it got copied.

Shadow Madness DOES give charge. Older cards were built when Blizzard wasn't too concerned with reliable text. For example Druid of the Claw used to read: "Choose One - Charge; or +2 Health and Taunt." Which makes it sound like a buff added to the card rather than the card permanently changing into the new stats. Players pointed out the inconsistency and, for years, Blizzard flat out defended not changing it. Eventually, they gave into pressure and changed the text to include 'transform'.
(note that the issue wasn't the card acting incorrectly, but that the text wasn't consistent with what happened)
Shadow Madness HAS to give a minion charge. Otherwise, the minion would change sides then face summoning sickness, similar to Mind Control, and the whole point of using Shadow Madness is to grab a minion and slam it into something else. Thus the text SHOULD read:
Gain control of an enemy minion with 3 or less Attack until end of turn. Give it Charge.
So the problem is, again, text not dictating what's actually going on. In fact, A LOT of problems with 'inconsistency' is due to the card text giving a lack of information of what's going on rather than a mechanical problem (though there ARE issues there in a few places)
In any case, once you realize that situation, everything else makes sense. Copy effects will copy the Charge as well, So Faceless manipulator and PW:R will copy the Charge. Note that ALL of the effects of Shadow Madness get copied, so if the copied minion survives to the end of the turn, BOTH minions go back to the opponent. of course a priest doing this will probably either only copy a minion they know will die or will do this for lethal.

OP's example is the Priest used Shadow Madness on a Grizzly and then Replicated it. Shadow Madness gives a temporary charge effect when you take control of a minion so that you can attack with the controlled minion before it goes back to the owner. When he replicated the minion taken by Madness, it also got the temporary charge effect copied. So it's the same as using Replicate on Stonetusk Boar.
So it's already consistent with your suggestion, because Replicating a non-charge minion results in summoning sickness and not being able to attack right away, even if the replicated minion could attack that turn. The same happens with Faceless Manipulator. If you copy a charge minion (Doomguard) you can attack immediately. If you copy a Witchwood Grizzly, you can't (unless it has a special condition such as the temporary charge effect from Shadow Madness).
Sweet! That was very instructive.. End of the road though the problem is on Shadow Madness text instead of PW:R ... The mechanics makes sense, it's just not shown on the card.
Also note that, if you survived, at end of turn you would have gotten your original shadow grizzly that has been "shadow madnessed", AND the replicated grizzly. This is because the replicate also copies the "return this minion to your opponent at the end of turn" part that is currently applied to the grizzly (same at the charge). The same also happens with faceless manipulator instead of PW:R (it gains charge if you copy a shadow madnessed minion, but you give him to your opponent at end of turn).

If you copy a charge minion it will have charge.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Yep .. A priest replicated my Witchwood Grizzly after playing Shadow Madness and was able to attack with both.

Gain control is different from take control you can see that in mind control it says take control instead of gain poition of madness says gain aswell

Well NM all of that inconsistency stuff then. :P
