I agree. When the Brode left they seemed to lose all direction. Even though these last two expansions would have been under his leadership. Weird decisions like "we aren't going to nerf" then two weeks later "we're gonna nerf a card (mana worm) nobody's complaining about". They NEED a strong leader at the helm. They don't seem to have that right now. I don't even know WHO is running the ship since the Brode left!?
I agree. While i don't care about this nerf, because i'm playing something different, i just don't understand the path they are follow. They seem so lost.
They are always 3-4 expansions ahead so it will still be a very long time before we see anything that Ben and them weren't involved in and I can already hear people saying stupid things about the new team being incompetent during the first few weeks of the next expansion lol predictable angry community
I'm speaking about nerfs and balance, they are slow and incompetent in balancing the game.
No reason to jump everytime some spoiled 8 year old cries nerf.
Probably you aren't understand: When Team 5 nerfs things, they nerf them wrong.
They destroyed Giggling Inventor. They destroyed (almost) cubelock in std They destoryed Call to arms and even paladin with it They destroyed almost bonemare
This isn't a balance patch. It's just about destroying cards.
They are not balancing the game, they are adding mana cost. Why not revisitizing the entire effects/stats/mana cost? Giggling -> summon 1/2 with taunt and DS, maybe at cost 4. This is balanced. Not cost 7 summon 3 cost 2.
Also, i play a totally different deck so i don't really care, but this is just insane. They are a very young company (team 5), ok, but they should learn from their mistakes.
some nerfs are meant to "destroy" cards. It's their way of saying: this card was a bad idea, and we're fixing it.
when Cubelock was "destroyed" (it wasn't, you can still play it, and probably reache Legend with it) they did because it was too good at everything and warped the meta around itself.
Same goes for Even Paladin (which is currently seeing a resurgence) since 90% of the deck's power came from playing CtA on turn 4, which acted as tempo and deck thinning for virtually no downside.
All you're doing right now is demonstrating that you also have no idea how to fix the game. Also your English needs work, some of your suggestions are really hard to follow. You have not been able to demonstrate why you should be an authority on game balance.

Sorry for my english, it's not my first language and i don't have time right now to learn it better. Sure i will learn it someday.
1) When Team 5 is nerfing something, they are destroying it (90%)
2)CTA? Just set to 2 minions instead of 3. Easy solution, playable.
3)They already know that giggling inventor was a bad idea. They are not stupid, just incompetent.
I believe that they could (and should) fix their path and decide how to manage this game, because it seems that they don't know what they are doing. It's just a mess, they are creating chaos here and there. There isn't a fixed path, just random adjustement (sometime too late). They want to make happy a part of player, without lose the other part.. I understand them, but we can't blame for nerf everytime. Just fix the game.
Maybe I'm just misunderstanding your post here, but I have some questions:
What do you mean when you say they should fix their path? What path?
They are already managing the game and have decided how to do that. What makes you believe you know otherwise to think they are not doing so? (Surely the very fact that they are making changes proves they have at least some for of deliberation)
Why do you think the adjustments are random when they have spoken at length about which cards they were considering nerfing and why? Regardless of whether we think they are good nerfs, this still proves it isnt random.
I often see people use phrases like "Just fix the game!", but they are seldom ever supported with viable and realistic thought out examples of how they expect that to happen.
Why do you think it is broken?
What evidence supports this?
What is your suggestion on how to fix it?
What makes you think your suggestions are in any way balanced and likely to succeed rather than cause the game to fail further?
Why do you think it is broken? --> Druid. The powerlevel of the druid is too much. Ui is a problem since KOFT. Also Spreading P. (i don't really care, iàm playing spiteful priest so i don't have problem against them, but i can recognize when too much is too much)
What evidence supports this? ---> Everyone is claiming for nerf to Druid cards.
What is your suggestion on how to fix it? ---> Ui need just to be fixed at 4. branching paths grant only 4 mana. Now is probably more balanced.
What makes you think your suggestions are in any way balanced and likely to succeed rather than cause the game to fail further?--> I can't. We need a real proof. Surely, as a player, you know when too much is too much. Like raza priest when was capable to otk you in a turn without problem. Too much.
Considering English is not your first language, I think you're doing a damn fine job with it, my friend. Your vocabulary is good. Keep it up :-) I wish I could speak another language as fluently myself.
EDIT: Missed your reply while typing his. Will read it now...

Ultimate Infestation - lots of discussion revolving around this card, for sure. But the jury has been out indefinitely on whether this card is too specifically a problem. Druids really suffered prior to this in terms of both card draw and spot-removal options. This card provided a much needed solution. There's still too even a split on it to make a change to it right now. Everyone is claiming for nerf to druid cards - This is a little bit of hyperbole in fairness (that means you statement is fairly exaggerated). And it's also vague, since not only are people calling for nerfs to a variation of druid cards, there are just as many (if not more) wanting nerfs to almost every class. And there always will be. Sure, druids are in a strong place right now, but a few more months and the next rotation will actually cripple them quite hard once more. Branching Paths grant only 4 mana - I'm not entirely sure what you meant here. Did you mean armour? Or are you talking about Nourish? I don't know that BP is all that powerful in comparison to other cards (it's a great card and is strong, but not more than other things really). Reducing the armour to 4 would be ok, but seems a little pointless. Too much is too much? - unfortunately, this is a rather subjective way to approach any kind of game balance or change. To be effective in both game design and game balancing, you have to be able to distance yourself from emotive knee-jerk responses and look at hard figures and statistical analysis. For example, Odd Rogue is a deck that everyone and their mum hates to come up against because it is simply frustrating and agonising to play against. I hate to use the word polarising because it seems like everyone is now using that term with little understanding of what it actually means. But the point is that regardless of how much it is a game that people (myself included) always complain about, it is proven to have a particularly mediocre win rate and thus does not sit that highly in the deck rankings. And hence that is why we dont see nerfs or changes to it, even though there are lots of people who shout to the heavens about how overpowered and disgusting the deck is.
On a final interesting note, it is worth pointing out the according to Metabomb, Druid only has 1 x Tier 1 druid deck currently, and that's Token Druid. And yet, you hardly see anyone playing this deck on ladder much (barring the occasional one). Most druids prefer the more meme-based decks like Togwaggle and Malygos etc. And it's ironic that these are the decks folks seem to complain about more....

While i don't care about this nerf, because i'm playing something different, i just don't understand the path they are follow.
