It nerfed a card that was auto include status in most decks. I think it’ll buff aggro (zoo lock and even paladin getting a nice boost) but I think the general meta will remain similar until next expansion.
Rogue is my favorite class and this hurts a lot. Hello hello with Shadowdancer was often my only answer to some decks.
I think you're overreacting. Like 90% of hearthpwn right now. The addressed cards were destined to be nerfed but you must understand Blizzard can't nerf every card people find slightly problematic.
The problem is not "a slightly" bad meta it's the most polarizing meta based on matchups since HS release (at least according to vicious syndicate) the ones that created such matchups are the trio of quest rogue, odd warrior and aggro and I just feel like those issues weren't adressed..
The only way that the polarizing meta can be fixed is by doing some massive changes to some cards from Warrior, Druid and Rogue (mainly the quest). According to Blizzard's Twitter, there are only going to do a couple of changes. So if anyone expecting them to do more, this balance patch won't be it because it will be a lot more than 2-3 changes to fix the problems of the very stale meta.
The nerfs will accomplish very little other than hurting Tempo Mage by a lot and weakening Quest Rogue as well as lowering the amount of people will seeing the Giggling Inventors by a lot but it doesn't fix the problems that the game needs (nor I expected a small balance patch to do that).

I think that the meta will be the same so the nerfs did nothing except reduce the amount of playable neutral cards from Boomsday from 5 to 4.

Other combo/OTK decks will take the place of quest rogue.
Er, Quest Rogue has never been a Combo deck, and hasn’t been a OTK deck in quite a while.
The nerfs accomplish alienating even more players than the ones already leaving in droves!
No Hex nerf... FeelsBad Kappa
