Who in your opinion is more powerful? I enjoy playing both classes and i have a hard time deciding who to craft. It will be my first DK that i'll craft.
It depends on your collection. If you don't have any demons, I'd go with Jaina.
BTW PLS DON"T CRAFT ANYTHING. WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK AND SEE WHICH CARDS WILL GET NERFED.
I have 1 voidlord, 2 doomguards, 2 dread infernals and 2 dreadlords. I need to build my collection up because i only started playing hearthstone 1 month ago.
Both are excellent cards for their respective classes.
Gul’dan can be played in any Warlock deck that has demons. Only really janky inclusion is in aggro where it is either too slow or gets discarded by Doomguard. It is also the most effective when played with Voidlords, so if you don’t have them, maybe hold on to the dust.
Jaina is a solid option in any Control or Midrange Mage archetype. The only deck it’s not used in is degenerate face mage.
Overall when choosing which one to craft, just pick the class you like more.
DK Jaina works best in slow decks, and if you have Sindragosa and/or Dragoncaller Alana, Big Spell Mage works well against Odd Warriors and nearly all aggro decks.
But Gul'dan is a lot more flexible -- he can work in aggro, control and combo decks.
If you're tight on dust , eg playing cheap decks then Jaina is better. She can work in budgets decks as the sole expensive card. Warlock can still use Zoo as a dust-efficient deck.
Gul'dan is the better card and used in better decks. Even lock, cubelock, control lock, some versions of zoolock, etc.
Jaina is only in big spell mage and midrange mage decks (which aren't as competitive as the rest of the decks mentioned). Even big spell mage isn't super great.
Yeah, Gul'dan is more flexible than Jaina, but she is the least requiring DK. Keep in mind, that OP is a new player after all and doesn't possess all of the fancy cards (welcome aboard btw).
Except for zoolock every other warlock deck is super expensive. I have to disagree with some users above me - DK Jaina is a must in every control, value and maybe mid-range mage deck ever. I remember how people built relatively cheap control decks in KoFT with her just by running Baron Geddon and maybe few other helpful legendaries (like here). Trump made a cheap elemental deck in the past. True, he didn't reach legend with it, but the success is still notable imho. Kibler also made a more expensive deck.
So this is my real opinion - Gul'dan is more useful, but since you don't have a big collection, Jaina is f2p friendly. You can always play zoo w/o the DK (current lists cut him in favour for The Soularium). But be wary - both cards will rotate out to wild in April and I don't know what your plans are for this format. I mentioned the nerfs coming next week - yes, I won't deny that you will get a refundment for crafting a nerfed card, but you won't get your dust back for crafting the support for that deck. In other words - if you decide to craft a control warlock deck and craft some epic cards, you won't get your dust back from those. You will have to stick to the deck regardless how weak it may become after the nerf.
As a stand alone card, Gul'Dan is probably better since you can damage enemies and heal yourself at the same time, while Jaina needs minions to target in order to build the board with lifesteal elementals. They are both excellent cards and I don't remember a deck of their class that doesn't run them as choice.
However, you are talking about putting those cards in constructed decks so this theoretical comparison isn't satisfactory.
Given the cards that you said to have and given the current state of the meta, I'd suggest Gul'Dan.
Guldan will rotate this year... and there's no nerf soon. If i were you... i craft him fast... or is better wait for next rotation.
Check the news. They declared that nerfs are incoming. Details will come on the 15th.
So yes, DO wait for the nerf news. And be careful not to just go "oh they are just nerfing this and that but not Guldan so I'm fine." Sometimes nerfs cause a major swing to the meta causing other decks to get strong and others weak. Odd example, if a nerf to Giggling causes aggro decks to go hyper powered, which put too much pressure for slow warlock decks to stay around making Guldan no longer worthwhile. Not saying that WILL happen, but it can.
So wait for the nerfs, and, to be safe, wait till we had a bit of time to mess with the new meta just in case. Worst case you end up not crafting it due to wiating 'too long' and end up with 1600 dust to use on the next expansion instead.

Oh... i didnt see the news from yesterday. I think that will not make any changes to the 2 dk (since they are not op), but will change the situation from wild (psychomelon is breaking the wild nowadays).

At this point in your Hearthstone playing, I wouldnt craft either. Both will rotate out in April 2019 to wild and you will likely not be playing Wild. Craft something that has at least a year to play if not from the Classic set which you will always have. If you dust it after the rotation, you will only get back 1/4th of the dust you spent.
Please read the post linked in my signature, it will save you a lot of headaches.
Guldan, Just due to the value he brings to turn 9 /w coin (if youre still holding it) or 10. 10 drop with board fill pending how many demons you had during the game bite the dust. Plus the animation never gets old. Either way both are great cards.

Gul'dan is a much stronger Death Knight, and can fit into more deck archetypes

However
You don't want to regret the way you spent your dust and one week won't slow you down that much
Depends on your match up, both are very good.
I think i'll go for Guldan but lets wait for nerfs.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Gul'dan is stronger DK, but Jaina is probably 2nd most fun to use DK, next to Rexxar.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
Think I must be out of the loop. Is there some info on what nerfs are coming / when?
Couldnt see anything on the HS site itself...
