I am playing for fun right now. I opened Dr. Morrigan the other day and I thought I'd give it a rip. A few Silver Vanguards and Umbra and Void Callers later and I have a ready to make board.
I like aggro decks. I currently play Pirate Warrior and Zoo lock, which I find quite amusing to play. Sometimes I go for ranks, but mostly just plays aggro decks for fun
I am .. I'm currently playing Seaforium rogue trying to get as many successive bomb draws as possible.. It's tough though cause people concede easily.. Max I got is 3 successive bombs. It's still worth the few bad matchups and losses to see the opponent's deck grow thicker and thicker with explosives.
If you go full meme decks then you're expecting the losses and only the explosive wins will count. Besides RNG's always around so 100% winrate is a myth.

Winning!? Nah dawg *Meme-ing!*!! (but also winning)

What's with the 100% winrate wisdom? I think the most obvious fact of all facts about HS is that you cannot win all games.
Lol it's not really wisdom .. Just what I tell myself to clear away the salt and keep trying to get me mission gold. I do have way more fun experimenting with stuff like OTK Angry Chicken than playing supposedly infallible decks though and that was my answer to OP's question.

I mean competitive is a place where you’re supposed to take strong decks and beat other strong decks. If u wanna have pure fun play casual. (I’m having a great time with Odd Mage win or lose). But u cant take a tier 3 deck with a 43% win rate and expect to win 100% of the time. (Just spitballing random numbers)
Now if you were arguing casual then yea id agree. I hate seeing odd pally & odd rogue in casual. You can still play fun decks on ladder, but u cant go in expecting everyone else to have the same mindset as you especially when most people are trying to climb. And its hard to climb with a heavy rng deck.
Most diverse meta ever. Bitches cry the game is stale. Well played complainers.
Actually, you can build a decent Tempo Tess Rogue in Wild, that also happens to be quite cheap to craft. Ofc, it won't carry you to legend...
On the other hand, you must understand that the main fun factor in the game is gaining the WIN, by far.
You are free to discard winning in favour of shenanigans, but it is your choice, and a narrow minority one.
As in real life, the more your choices go against the mainstream, the more you must be ready to accept and bear the consequences.
PS: tuning Off-Meta decks for ladder necessities takes tons of time, analysis and patience. But you can definitely do it with decent success.

Winning isn't fun, winning saves time. Losing is a complete waste of time.

No fun allowed in standard, better go to wild.
Best card in HS? Mastercard.
I play till rank 5, which I usually achieve around the 5th to 10th. The rest of the season I play various decks for fun.
Just doing mainteance now tbh. Just completing quests and not really spending much time on ladder - feels too samey.
i am no longer playing this game for fun. im playing it to hate myself more.

Everyone has their own way of having fun my dude.
I play hundreds of games per season for fun, but it is on casual, or a rank floor, not when actually climbing the ladder.
Not me. I only play this game from time to time just to complete the daily quests.
I still have fun, though it's because I don't play the game daily and I only play decks I like. I do get tilted from time to time, though.
well depend on everyone idea of fun, i think most player fun is winning so why play rng deck (like tess rouge) to lose
Well I just played a game with my Spectral Pillager Rogue vs a Mech Priest on rank 15 wild ladder. Game almost went to fatigue.
Not all of us slave away for hours to reach legend :P
Sitting at Rank 20 in Wild Last night, I decided to have some fun and played Dane's Miracle Secret Hunter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB5zZNqEG5s
I went 10-0 with it, wtf lol
