I just started a ftp account and when I unlocked all classes it didnt allow me to play arena as normal, instead it says I have to rank up to level 10 with every class. I see noone talking about this and I think it will have a massive impact on arena going forwards
I think this is a good change. Let them learn what are the good cards and what are the bad ones through a bit of playtesting in Standard before they decide to explore Arena. This will hopefully make it so that they don’t get stomped as badly as before.
I find it hilarious how this community desperately wants to stomp on people who have little to no experience with the game. First it was the fact that they couldn't take their Wizbang decks to rank 50, and now you want to play against someone fresh out of the gate in arena. A place where knowledge of what is good or bad and how the format itself plays out is key to any success. I would argue that even a person who gets all their heroes to rank 10 isn't ready for arena. Assuming they are actually a new player and not a smurf account anyway. It's sad really.

No one talks about the impact of this configuration as it either doesn't exist or is irrelevant in the bigger picture.
What would you view as an acceptable alternative?
Golden Hero Collections thus far; -
Europe: Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior (9/9)
Americas: Druid, Mage, Paladin Shaman (4/9)
Everywhere else: Workin on it.. (0/9)
Thats fine.. arena matchmaking usually tries to match you up with other first time arena players when its your first arena anyway...
