Yep she s pretty essential. You know, Umbra and Cube (on a cheated Doomguard by Skull) into Dark Pact for 25 damage

Well, I played some pre-nerf cubelock and I did not incluce umbra in the list.
Yes, you lose some burst potential with doomguard but it's also a bit greedy and requires some setting up. E.g. you need skull of the manari, a doomguard, cube and umbra to pull it off. Against aggressive decks I actually played Umbra for tempo a lot of the time because it's a pseudo-taunt card. In the end I removed Umbra from the list and added Stonehill defender instead.
Nah, umbra is not a necessary card. It's occasionally a gamewinner, but is a dead card when you can't cheat out Doomguards or do not have cubes in hand. I have Umbra, but I don't use it in cubelock...
Umbra is strong against slow decks, but sucks against aggro. So, yeah, she can be replaced. Your complete list would help with a replacement, but in general Tar Creeper, Stonehill, Taldaram, Gnomeferatu come to mind

Umbra is very nice because when you put it on board - even for tempo play, your opponent needs to trade it - most of them trade it cause it makes too much value for putting out demons with that 6 mana 2/2 guy or cube etc. etc. and in one turn your board can be filled out like hell :) and the game can turn on your side pretty fast. I dont see any alternatives for her - her ability is too unique.
I've been playing Cubelock for fun, really enjoy the deck and never got a chance to craft it while it was a tier 1 deck because it was expensive. However, I happened to get all its core cards out of card packs after it was nerfed. I would say Umbra is NOT mandatory in the deck and I don't run it, and do decently well without it. Faceless Manipulator, on the other hand, has been awesome in the deck.
I also removed 1 Lackey from my version since it seems too slow after the nerf (Skull of Manari already does a decent job getting demons out on the board and I can always discover more using Stonehill Defender). Instead of 2nd Lackey, I threw in a Despicable Dreadlord, it's a great counter to agro decks in combination with taunts that I run.
perhaps it's a bit meta dependent. Against control the extra burst you get from doomgaurds is invaluable. Then you can Gul'dan and for a second burst later on. It's also pretty strong for cubing giants against druids.
Spiritsinger Umbra is unique and incredibly fun to play. This goes for cubelock too but if you want the deck to be competitive Umbra should be left out. Cubelock has a higher winrate without Spiritsinger Umbra
Source on these statistics? hsreplay has Umbra in the highest WR decks. I don't have the premium so perhaps you're talking about a higher rank settings.
Umbra's really only necessary if you want to play a very combo-oriented version of the deck. I ran her in my version when I played a good deal of cubelock, but it's been a while and I feel like she's less standard nowadays (and even back then there were probably nearly as many lists that didn't run her as did in my experience)

I've checked out so many cube decks and all run Spiritsinger Umbra,, are there any alternative cards i can use instead of it?.
cubelock in 2018
I ain't worried about the meta, i play what i enjoy.

It's a solid card but not essential.

What to use instead? I don't even know what you are using presently in your deck. Other cards Prince Taldaram , Faceless Manipulator , Mountain Giant are other cards used regularly in cubelock.
This is the deck i use:
Taldaram is nice but i can't craft it bro, i don't have the dust. I can focus on getting 1 Faceless Manipulator, only costs 400 dust

I dont think that 2 Mountain Giant is good. You can try replace 1 with Lord Godfrey though.
