So I've been playing a lot of control/OTK paladin(with deck thinning options), played like 50 games and in 85% of all games he is in the last 15 cards(at best) and in the last 5 in the worst...
How so? Seeing other streamers having similar issues... doesn't seem to be just RNG
It's programmed so if you have uther of the ebon blade he will always be in the bottom 15 no matter what, the code also specifically make it so if it's your user name then it's more likely to happen.
Also there's a boost for paying players, they get their keleseth 50% more often in their opening hands.
Observation bias...move on, play more games. Atm I play exodia pala as well, it’s absolutely fine. Sometimes you draw your entire combo from the top half of your deck, sometimes Uther is the bottom 5 cards...
If it's just rng why the situation does not improve when I play more games? I mean my overall pool of games is growing... but the percentage stills around the same :\
Just bullshit, he can't be in the last 15 cards most of my games can he?
Can this be because I run deck thinning options like crystology and prismatic lens?

all true, I pay my monthly Keleseth subscription and it doesn't disappoint
I have made the same experience with my OTK Paladin and I guess it has indeed to do with your deck thinning. Crystology, Lense and CTA are all drawing just minions and spells. The chance to draw Uther late in the deck increases through using these tools.
i think, keeping Uther in the opening hand might usually be a good idea.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Control is like Chess - using your given resources wisely.
Aggro is like Russian Roulette - Hope to topdeck the right card/ hope for the opponent to topdeck the wrong card.
Parallels to the IQ of the players of both games are, of course, coincidental ;)

He is sad because is the weakest DK (or second last).
It is just RNG.
Honestly just bad luck, same thing when I play a keleseth deck, yet my opponents always seem to have it on turn 2 kinda stuff.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
It's. Just. RNG. (or as someone else mentioned, observation bias). Why is there more conversation than this?
My dad works for blizzard and told me they specifically rigged your account so you have shit RNG
Because then people can blame Blizzard for their losing and feel even prouder that they overcam Blizzard trying to screw them.

Same here. Uther always in my last 5 cards. I dont think its because of rng.
He is very shy.
For me was the opposite. Experimented ~10 games with it, in half of them got it in my opening hand. In 7 games had it online on turn 9.
with all the ways to thin your deck ( Call to arms and all that card draw ) late drawing Uther is not that big of a deal.
I won plenty of games with Uther being my last card, thanks to the two Time Outs.
There is no reason to speculate in this with a small sample size. Locked.
