I dont mind quit things, but when a man cry about something he couldnt get (skin, bundle, etc.) that makes him a girl. Man needs to do something and go forward, but not cry, thats why men are here on this planet.
My point is that crying does not lead to anything. How can we influence or how did someone influence the company's policy in terms of money? This discussion is meaningless. You either play this game, or you do not. But when a person still plays and whines, does that mean he's a whiny girl?
Or do you want to discuss the so-called equality of the sexes? :)
SWEET BABY JEEBUS how ass backwards are you?
Not only did you fail to grasp the point of the comment made by Dendroid but you then doubled down with your behind the times sexist bullshit. Then raising the equality of the sexes which has literally nothing to do with how men or women react to things.
But when a person still plays and whines, does that mean he's a whiny girl?
Let me answer this for you, possibly, if that person is A - a girl and B - whining. If that person is a man then there a whiny man
What I find hilarious is your Signature and yet you're arguing with a person from Ukraine about sexual equality on the internet xD Calm down, if you're offended by A) his statement or B) his doubling down then I got bad news for you. I have met plenty of Ukrainians who have very different views from the poster, so their response to me suggesting that where they're from is any excuse is just pish.

Arguing on the internet is like playing chess with a pigeon. You may be good at chess, but the pigeon is just going to knock all the pieces down, take a shit on the table, and strut around like its victorious.
In eastern Europe gender roles are still more prevalent, so the reaction is not so much backwards as it is coming from a different cultural background than your own. I personally wouldn't make such statements (also, because I'm not from a culture where gender roles are still very prevalent) but I also really can't imagine some phrase like that hurting an adult.
To me is important in a healty relationship, the role in the whole family. As animals, we can't work together without a leader. We can think about equality but the reality is that we need a leader (doesn't matter the Sex).
Children transform theirselves as they are educated, they directly learn from their parents and they need to see a "role" of both the parents. Also, that child need obv a role in the family (whatever he want of course) and not just be a "machine" manipulated from the media, but a logical and natural one.

This is bad logic dude. Sometimes words have such power that their use is reflective of the person uttering them, not the other way around. Your logic is used in shit like victim shaming; it's dismissive of the real issues and only breeds further division because it declares that you only ALLOW words to affect you.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I think you are looking at the extremes in trying to start up a discussion. I am a F2P player and I have been playing a bit before Naxxramas launched and being consistent or somewhat consistent with the game I got everything I need, around 15k dust to spare around 1000 gold, an almost complete classic collection, plenty of cards from new sets...I even got some paid features(Magni and the Welcome Bundle) for free through some time limited free credit promotions from amazon(when downloading an app a long time ago). I don't care much about cosmetics neither do I go around in forums complaining about them being put behind paywalls. If that is how they want to do things then I simply don't care. Cosmetics will always be cosmetics, enhancing a part of the experience, of playing the game.
I think the answer you are looking for lies in what the cosmetics mean to some F2P players, particularly the ones that go around said forums and make tons of complains. For them it means that they are missing out on a part of the game that is collectible and it is a part that no matter how much time they invest in the game, are unable to attain. As expected that makes them feel frustrated and some will even go as far as expressing their frustration through a forum post as a form of venting out their feelings of them missing out on something. This is not the behavior that Blizzard marketers are counting on to, they don't want their community to turn toxic, frustrated, or ballistic. They want these few cosmetics to attract that part of their player-base, the completionists, whether those are customers that pay for the game or potential(F2P) customers. The latter are unable to "dig in" either due to monetary restrictions or due to ethical restrictions while the former are in better shape. This disparity between these two types of player groups is bound to cause disputes only further exacerbating things. In essence they are trying to develop a need(a feeling on unease connected with lacking something requisite, desirable, or useful) much like any other company trying to have a sustainable competitive advantage.
What's the point I am trying to make? I think F2P players shouldn't care about cosmetics bundled with in-game content neither should they criticize players that feel like digging in those offers. Let each player do what makes him happy. If Blizzard deems that this whole frustration caused by their offers tied to cosmetic items is unhealthy to the game as a whole they will eventually feel like addressing the matter and maybe subsidize F2P players by making cosmetics attainable with in-game currency(whether that is through dust, gold or whatever type of currency they come up with).
I can understand the opposition as they have something to gain. No matter how stupid their arguments are, or how ridiculous their demands are, they will be about more free stuff, better prices, better balance etc.Something you know...affects them.
But you constandly try to silence them,Why? Are you uncomfortable when someone criticises blizzard?Do you feel that this behemoth of a company will be threatened? Why you have to create these echo chamber threads all the time. Just search the threads and the blizzard defenders will outnumber by far the cry threads.
At this point, i believe that blizzard big fat black "pr" is far down to fanboys' throat that they can even think properly anymore.
The fanboys legions are the real cancer of this game. If it were not for them, Hearthstone would be a much better game. :(
You've got some interesting points there. There's been a good change, in TGT and the adventures right behind it they just gave a cardback with the pre-purchase.
Since they started adding some other things to it, it seems that you get something better if you buy it, top of it was last prepurchase where they gave a golden legendary. This last time what I liked most was the two "sizes". This gave me the choice of buying what I thought was interesting and don't buy what I did not want: Bought the golden legendary, did not care about Mecha_jaraxxus.
How dare Blizzard tries to sell me cards that I am NOT forced to buy for a game that I am NOT forced to play. Then they make these cosmetic items that I don't need. Yet I spend money on these things and then blame Blizzard for being "greedy"; or even better, I don't spend any money on the game and still blame them for being greedy.
A company whose sole purpose is to make money sells its products and services. People buy these things. The company then charges more money. People spend more money. The powers that be at this place think to themselves. "We can sell our things for a little or a lot! People will still buy our stuff either way. I wonder what we should do?"
My hope is that people spend their valuable time and money (personal resources) on games they want to play. Whether that's Artifact or Magic the Gathering or Gwent (does anyone still play that?) Anyway, it's their time and money. These people should spend it on what they want. If they don't feel as if their personal resources are well spent on this product, then they should go elsewhere.
Yes. I realize that many people, including myself, have put a shit ton of "personal resources" into HS and don't necessarily want to leave the game without getting anything in return. Your enjoyment while playing the game was your return. At some point, if you are not having fun anymore, you should try some other card game...or leave the genre entirely. Maybe you come back. Maybe you don't.
It comes down to people's personal preferences. These people will either support a company and its product or decide to give their money to someone else. Unless you are literally being forced to give your money to someone or something, DON'T blame someone else for how you choose to spend your time and money. It is ultimately your choice.
Whenever I see angry comments section, like the one we have here, I can't help but wonder - have you guys NEVER played physical card games, like MTG? Where you couldn't DE and craft cards.
I remember that, as a kid, I'd usually spent most of my pocket money on booster packs. I have no problem with buying packs in HS, because it's the same as it used to be.
This kind of whining makes me think about stupid movie reviews, where a reviewer is shocked that a Transformers movie isn't as deep as Almodovar's films. Or metalheads complaining that a Chris Brown concert didn't sound like Iron Maiden. Neither Brown meant to throw a metal act, nor Michael Bay attempted to do anything else than an action flick. So why get angry?
If you don't dig something, because it wasn't tailored to suit your particular interests, then like, you know, maybe find something else? Because sometimes I think HS players are angry with HS that it isn't a different kind of game.
Sorry all of you, but the MTG argument is ridiculous. In MTG (or other physical card games) you can just sell any cards you don't need! You get back real money!
So don't act like crafting would be a player-friendly feature. Being able to trade cards with other players would have been the right way.

So basically criticism is not allowed for anything? If you watch a film and it sucks, you cannot say anything, because it was your fault for chosing a film that was not meant for you? Ok...

And as someone with cupboards full of MTG cards I find the physical product argument ridiculous. You're right you get back real money however it is a miniscule fraction of the amount I've spent and generally not really worth it.

Good deal with the new bundle? How it's reasonable spend 200-300 $ every 4 month without getting all cards? Still talking about money in this game. Never worth. Packs are like loot box but worse because you need to play. Something is moving in other game, will see.
Only 200-300 $ every 4 months? Jeez. Have you never played Yu-Gi-Oh or MTG? Lol. People spend that much on a few box sets at a time and don't get every card. 'Packs are like loot box but worse' by far is the most ridiculous arguing piece. Are Yu-Gi-Oh or MTG packs considered 'gambling' or 'loot box' but IRL?!?! How are they still in business?! Easy, because it's not a loot box. I'll give it to you f2p people. Comparatively the cheapest of the top 3 card games, and still not happy.
How is a Hearthstone pack different from a loot box? You can buy it for real money and it contains random in-game items of highly varying value. I think those are the essential characteristics of a loot box.
It's been years since I played MtG, but back in the day, while packs were extremely expensive, you would at least get the same number of commons, uncommons and rares from each booster. In Hearthstone, a pack can contain anything from multiple legendaries to 40 dust. Even the worst legendary will give you enough dust to craft an epic of your choice, so getting a legendary is always at least as good as getting any card of a lower rarity level.
Again, are real life card packs considered loot boxes? No. They're not. Hearthstone card packs aren't considered 'loot boxes' because you're guaranteed at least 1 rare in each pack, and at least 1 legendary in about 40 packs. And now, even more so, you don't get repeat legendary cards. So not necessarily 'random'. Loot boxes do not guarantee your odds. You can get trash and not get any item of the highest tier level in that loot box while spending 100$+ dollars, or in some people's cases, 500$+. I've been on the receiving end of loot boxes. Hearthstone packs, just like actual card game packs like Yugioh Or MtG, are not, nor will they ever be, 'loot boxes'.
But you constandly try to silence them,Why? Are you uncomfortable when someone criticises blizzard?

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
Nice wall of text you have there. Maybe work on making it legible next time and I will bother to read it.
It's like you never read a book. Maybe work on reading the thread post before commenting in a thread. You know. So you can contribute instead of just passive aggressively dissing someone. Here, try this: Hey OP, interesting point, but next time try seperating your ideas into paragraphs. Makes it much easier to read.
To the OP: Yeah, that's a good point that flies over most people's heads. Most of the time, packs are a horrible deal. Sometimes, they make better deals (e.g. bundles). That's a good thing. Sometimes, those better deals have an added bonus (cosmetics). That's even better. That's a perspective most people don't consider. The whole HS culture of cosmetics having to be free is something I don't get; many games offer cosmetics for money, and it's harmless.
exactly. Destiny 2 does this and so does Warframe, yet no one complains (well, some have complained bout the issue in Destiny 2 back in December of last year but that was short lived). Cosmetics shouldn't be free imo, because in no way possible should you be harmed without a cosmetic. It makes no sense, period.
LUL the resident Artifact shill successfully derails another thread.
I'm the kind of player who only buys packs at discount, so I love the $1/pack deals we get for expansions or even the $0.50/pack welcome bundles. Getting free stuff thrown in on top of that is awesome. But I'd never spend $10 for a skin and cardback. Don't forget the first 3 skins were paid for, and one was awful (Alleria has the worst death cry in the game).

This year has been a turning point in my care of this game.
Ive played this since launch, the game was rough and there wasnt hardly any free things till a few years later.
Now eyyyy free packs for xyz.
Honestly i play this game sparingly, ive switched back to my physical card game roots of MTG.
This argument will not end well because we all value things differently , we all have choices in to spend or not spend, everyone has an opinion.
At the end of the day, its a game spend your dollars or not. Be FTP or not. Such is a digital card game.
Do or do not. There is no try.
could you please be more clear.
