Has been stated several times on this thread, but i'll BM when the opponent is annoying the living hell outta me, or when they think they are going to win, but end up losing. And I will generally BM every Tier 1 deck in Casual when im playing my Meme decks.
Feels so weird to see someone against control decks. I find it that that's where the beauty is for me.
Either way, playing since beta, never BM'ed, never will. Had a few people add me and curse or say nasty things, I always replied in a decent manner.
Also, I'd like to add that I've never played Pirate Warrior, 2x dudes power pala, murloc shaman, and so on. I don't even own patches. I actually have a deck specifically made for the "Play A Friend" quest and many of the people I chat with call me to join. Most of the time I spend in HS is actually observing friends' games, laughing about random things and having fun. Cheers !

I never instigate bm however when an aggro player emotes smugly after getting a nut draw I will use the sarcastic wow and skip my usually genuine well played.
I do intentionally overkill my opponent by as much as I can, but I look at that as practice and I don't extend the game to much to do it. I just like thinking about the most damage I can do.

No, the Deck tracker plug-in auto-squelches everyone as it should be. It is helpful to never think of your adversary as human, as "truce" is not an option. It simplifies decision-making and removes emotion from the battle. It is a grave weakness of youth and inexperience to care what anyone else thinks about you.
After first bm from opponents I mute them and then bm them whenever i feel like (mostly when they topdeck or are playing some cancer with legend cardback.. I just don't have respect for them). Ive never start bm first.
When i queue up casual to play a fun (not meta deck) and run into zoo or odd rogue or odd paladin, I try to fit in as many greetings emotes as i possibly can. Playing those decks in casual calls for extreme BM. Especially when they start BMing first if they think they win and then you swing the game with your meme deck
This thread is so funny. It just shows, that a large part of the playerbase would hate themselves if they were their own opponent. And still they think that their BMing is good and their opponents BMing is the worst thing ever and they need to be punished for it.
I think youve got to be lobotomized to not understand the irony of something like: 'I think BMing is bad in general, but if you play deck XYZ I will BM the shit out of you because you are a cancerous player...'
An other sad but funny thing is, that a good part of the 1/3 that think BMing is unforgiveable most likely have BMed in the past. Holy smokes, this thread must be full of secretly self hating hypocrites.
Welcome to the Hearthstone Confessional. I greet you.
- When someone ropes me I rope them back - If they have time to waste my time I have time to waste theirs aswell (youtube saves the day). - I unintentional BM people sometimes because I accidental emote well played at the end of a match where I won before they got to emote it themselves. Never thought of this as a BM, but apperently it is - I can't help that I made it a habit to just emote well played no matter the outcome of the match.
I would say that emoting appropriately and sparingly is only seen as BM by some because of the intent that people carry with their own emotes. I greet everyone at the start of the match unless I'm playing as Valeera. Valeera's greeting is fucking BM because it's not something that you would say before others say hello to you, and it sounds mocking like "HEH HEH NICE TO MEET YOU SIKE BITCH FUCK YOU I HAVE A KNIFE".
Not really. Usually just emote "Greetings" at the start and "Well played" at the end.
However in Druid mirrors I usually do the "Oops" if me or my opponent don't have Wild Growth on 2, because that was absolutely a mistake. And with Anduin you've got to hero power oppo's face on turn 2 and say "The light shall burn you", is part of the fun :P
I don't see the point of bm except if you're 12 yo, or if you discover the game. I did that at the very beginning when i started hearthstone but fastly understood that was just not fun at all, neither for my opponent nor for me. People who bm while they are 20 or 25 yo and know well the game are so pathetic, actually i feel even sad for them sometimes
I rarely BM. I just emote the mandatory "Well Played" whenever I beat someone, or when I get soundly beaten.
I love hurling Scourgelord Garrosh's mistake emote ("Failure") at my opponent though, especially when that deck is highly favored to beat Control Warrior. It's like I'm insinuating that my opponent is a failure in both the game and life in general, lol

I really do like a lot of the DK emotes. The Paladin DK Oops emote might be my favorite of the bunch, not sure. They talk shit better than The Lich King, which feels great.
I sometimes (really kind of often now that I think about it) BM when winning against an opponent using a really meme and/or combo deck and they are using a typical 'normal' deck. Nothing like /threatening my opponent to tell them of their impending suffering being legendary prior to seeing a continual defile animation proc for 3 mins before they finally lose the game.
Also I will ALWAYS bm my opponent if they are obviously bming me first. Rope me? I'll rope you back until you stop roping (this actually almost always works). BM spam me? I will hover over my minions and cancel out their attacks or try to target the wrong target til my rope burns every turn, or I may just let the arena match play out and make you sit through the grueling loss as you top deck every one of your cards til I can't heal you through fatigue anymore. You just don't want to BM me at all, if I'm playing it means I have plenty of free time to spare at the moment and it doesn't hurt me at all to waste some time ;)
Oh, and if you play Kingsbane Rogue or Mill Rogue just consider it a given that I will always BM you if I have a chance of winning or if rng screws you over.
Other than that I don't BM much. ;)
This right here. This guy knows whats up. Sadly i cant do that cause my time is scarce but please keep doing the good work. We should be friends
Hardly ever respond first but i rope every Shudderwock Shaman I come up against. You can play that BS deck if you like but I'll make it last at least 30 minutes. In the meantime I'll play Fortnite.
Funny thing is I've had 3 or 4 rage quit in the last month keeping my winrate against the deck pretty high (I play Big Spell Mage).

hello.
I always emote when I beat a Control deck. They should not exist, especially Odd Warrior.

People who don't BM are boring

Different people different preferences.

Start game,
Say Greetings
Right click on opponent and squelch.
Every game.
If i get roped on turn one two or three i rope straight back.
Just against players I don't respect. Aggro players.

That’s what I do as well. If I get roped early on I start roping until they stop and that usually works... what a surprise.
