The worst people in this thread are the ones who say they don't BM unless the opponent does it first. What a bunch of scumfuck virtue signaling liars. You guys know you BM sometimes for no reason just like everyone else. Either that or you try to make the tiniest thing into something the opponent did to you like take 3 extra seconds on their turn. No need to lie to yourself when you're behind an anonymous name.
Yea I BM every once in a while. Sometimes for no other reason than I hate the class the opponent is playing at that particular moment. Emotions get the best of all of us sometimes.
So it is wrong for someone to act in retaliation with a harmless act that the opponent has stated clearly is fine by them? I see no reason to view people poorly that act retaliatory. You believe them to be children? The people here are only just serving the BMing opponent their just desserts. Surely you wouldn't want the trolls to starve, would you? This place needs not such harsh punishments for the trolls, for they are sweet, sweet angels.
Pretty sure you misinterpreted what I said and I'm not sure where you ended up on your train of thought...
Nice way to dodge what's being said to you. No wonder you have this view of people who emote in retaliation. You have the audacity to insult people who act in return but can't reason an explanatory question and answer appropriately. Question, do you have a small skull? From what I understand, pressure on the brain makes it hard to think, so I'm just trying to figure out what your problem is.
Haha, bro you are too funny. I am flattered by your attention though. I'm insulting people who say that's the only time they BM as that is a load of shit and that many of those perceived slights are actually just them looking for reasons to BM. No one is that clean.
I always let go a WOW after I burn a opponent's combo piece or stuff. And well...is Thank You after a conceded win considered BM? Because I ALWAYS do this. Always as a sign of "well, you tried your best". Spamming emotes or stuff, I never done it, and I usually silence my opponent after the third repeated emote.

And how can you say for sure that they're looking for any reason to BM? Usually, when a person states publicly that they do not view certain activities in the best light, they usually aren't looking for an excuse to do it. If you were to call me, for example, a fuckhead troglodyte while we're debating or discussing something, you're showing me that you're fine with this kind of behavior. Would it not stand to reason that it's acceptable during that conversation for all parties involved to be able to insult one another wherever inspiration takes hold? If you steal from me, do you think it's fair for something to be stolen from you? Most things are fair in war specifically. It seems to me this concept is foreign to you. This is what I'm getting at. If we both do the same job the same way and deliver the same quality, we both should be praised equally, should we not? If that's the case, shouldn't it also be true that if you BM me that there's nothing wrong with BMing in return?
It's not a matter of being clean or right. If I'm not usually the type to do something I deem deplorable, you should be somewhat expectant that I may act deplorably if I am dealt an inspiring slight. Again, most things are fair in war. Principle is lost on battlefield participants because there is no place for such things. Welcome to Psychology. You seem new to this world of ideas.

How's it like arguing with a BRAINLET
Feels about as good as posting with the wrong account. :^)
Just because you emote, doesn't mean you are BMing. I emote after a crazy or unlucky RNG result or when I feel the opponent swapped windows and might miss his turn (empty or few cards / looks like a no brainer turn) to give them a chance to play. I feel like its BM when an opponent has obviously lost (you have lethal on board and its your turn) and they don't concede right away hoping you DC.

Lol-WUT? You... think it's BMing for an opponent not to automatically concede when you have lethal on the board? Are you serious? lol! So it never occurred to you that your opponent is either : A) Being polite and considerate enough to let you have the enjoyment of the victory and finish as you prefer B) Waiting to see if you make the ultimate BM-Fail (I've won from this so many times) and mess up the finishing combo (such as Priest Mecathun) C) Waiting to see if maybe you've not realised that you have lethal and are distracted with trading minions, etc.
EDIT: Additionally, waiting to see if you DC is hardly bad manners. If you can't be bothered to get a decent enough connection to stay in the game, that's BM on your part, not theirs....

Yes, run along. You really shouldn't be here if you can't grasp simple things. Talking to you was a waste of time because no matter how much I explain this, you won't understand it because you are incapable.

I'm 100% certain you lost him when he replied "Pretty sure you misinterpreted [...]"
Sometimes I wonder if your goal is to have conversations with people at all. More often than not it seems like your intentions might actually be to beat everyone you encounter into submission with uncommon words arranged in convoluted yet correct sentences as part of the fun (which in this instance the results undoubtedly are LUL)
If this is not the case, it would be much easier to get the point across if you use simpler language. This is a Hearthstone community after all. Even the devs know that we are incapable of reading and nerfed fiery war axe accordingly!

My goal with talking to people (sometimes) is to advance a conversation to an elevated or deeper state. In the case of talking to NoControl, I used language that's plenty simple. I gave several examples of how BM used as return fire is justified. With people like NoControl, I try to be as simple as I can because I know they're either stupid or don't care enough about the conversation, so explaining it simply but plenty usually gives them enough that they should be able to understand. I wonder if, to avoid comments like yours if I should talk like a fucking caveman at all times. No. I simplify as much as necessary. The dumb bastard didn't want to engage with me on the topic because he lost before he began. You could say "An opinion can't be wrong", but I won't humor that line of thinking. He presented faulty logic, and when called out, deflected any chance for discussing this, deflected any responsibility he had for his own broken logic, and refused to just understand or admit that he understands.
You're right, this is a Hearthstone community. As such, because I'm part of the community, I intend on respecting people given the level of respect they command. I'm not going to simplify my language just so people understand me at all times. I make things as simple as I believe is necessary. I gauge the required level and follow suit where I see fit. I'm not going to simplify for the sake of humoring the comment the devs left behind about how it's simpler to just change numbers instead of card text. Unfortunately, I tend to agree with them about how people don't read cards. I'd rather it not be this way.
If it looks as though I'm beating people into submission, it's because that part of me was inspired by those I'm speaking with. I try not to make rudeness my default approach. With me, you are given exactly what you deserve.
(Regarding the language I employ, I'm a writer by trade. I'd be working on stories and documents now, but this fucking writer's block is fucking me harder than the Fiery War Axe nerf fucked Warrior.")
Alrighty then. Just to be clear, I was only curious; not critical. I made a casual observation and pointed it out because you might not have been aware of it. Of course you're within your rights to posterino in a manner that reflects your beliefs. Personally, I'm a pragmatist and would rather use caveman speech to save myself some time :)
What is the point of this thread - it's just the same 3 or 4 people text walling each other. Like I said before, BM doesn't actually exist outside of one's dysfunctional imagination

It's perfectly alright. I welcome both curiosity and critical commentary. I value them equally. I often times write sentences longer than I really want. While I sometimes wish I could shorten things, there's enough to say that shortening comments and messages just isn't possible. After all, small talk is for ants (not that this has much to do with small talk, I'm just being cheeky). I'm of the Pragmatic sort myself, I just don't hold it close to heart as my one true driving principle concerning approach/methodology.

The point is still here. You're only just seeing recent activity, hence the appearance of walling. I've had now only two users inspire interactions like this, Pathod/BlueLights and NoControl. Those conversations have concluded, and only took place within the last three pages. There's nothing wrong with an extended conversation. It happens.
BM existing is debatable. It depends on if you consider bad sportsmanship to be a thing.
Haha, bro you are too funny. I am flattered by your attention though. I'm insulting people who say that's the only time they BM as that is a load of shit and that many of those perceived slights are actually just them looking for reasons to BM. No one is that clean.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
It is what it is.
