I hate Valeera the Hollow's "Well Played" emote. It sounds so sarcastic. Just played a very long game against a warrior and I enjoyed it a lot. Wanted to well play him and the "Lovely" just sounds so fake.
Dont hate any but: "Your suffering will be....LEGENDARY" his voice is just badass! But i hated only one in the past. If you remember shamanstone than you know of which im talking about....
Personally, I think the emote system has done more to create a toxic gaming atmosphere than just being able to talk to opponent's regularly.
1) It adds a level of sarcasm. Every emote has a sarcastic tone behind it, from "greetings" to "well played" and everything in between (we're looking at you "thank you". While Hearthstone is advertised in its animated commercial to be about being friendly and making friends, the interface has done more to create a sarcastic and "hateful" atmosphere than friendly and competitive.
2) Opening a chat ability that you can activate and deactivate at will seems like it would be more effective. There are numerous times where I would like to actually greet my opponent or tell them that I really liked their play, but instead I get a sarcastic "thank you" or "oops" emote and then they proceed to make their move. If you try to add anyone after the fact, they either ignore you, or berate you and block you.
I've had games that went really well, both for myself and for my opponent and I have wanted to follow up with them afterwards on great plays that were made, really good momentum swings on both sides, and the eventual outcome, but because of how the system is set up, I cannot and because of how toxic the Hearthstone atmosphere is with salty players, nobody wants to add you after-the-fact because they don't want to deal with the insults and beratement.
I wish Blizzard would re-evaluate the emote system and implement some kind of a chat system that might help rebuild a friendly community. I've found a few Facebook groups that maintain a friendly atmosphere, and I've really enjoyed being apart of them, but even then you find the salty, bitter ones regularly that need to be weeded out.
Anduin's "Wow" emote is dripping with sarcasm: I try to be fairly genuine with my emoting, but there's no way his Wow comes off as anything other than a rude remark. The Wows in general are all pretty troll-y, in some ways more than the Sorrys they replaced.
Unfortunately the emote system in general is used far more often to be a heckling jerk than any real sense of friendly engagement. Trolls and angry people will use whatever they have at their disposal; without a true chat system, emoting and hate-friending is their go-to method to vent their angst.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Every emote that is used before I am about to lose. But more specifically, I really hate Oops after I make a play on turn 4 and there is 1 minion on each side of the board and I have still have 25+ health.
On a side note, I really like Hagatha's emotes. Darker than i thought they could be!
I don't like Valeera the Hollow's "Well Played" emote either. To me it actually feels like it should be a "Wow" emote instead. I also agree with Liam3Bucks. I don't like Valeera's "Hello" emote very much, especially if you use it first.
Valeera: "The pleasure is mine"
Anduin: "Greetings"
Just sounds kind of backwards to me. I play Rogue the most so it's kind of disappointing that two of the Rogue emotes are among my least favorites.

Valeera's "Hello" emote.
Have you seen the new paladin hero that will come with halloween? Man that guys emotes will be so annoying: hello hello hello
Malfurion Stormrage A natural mistake.
Hope is an illusion.
"You're shivering. Are you afraid?" - Frost Lich Jaina
"Well played." - Jaina (the sneering manner when she says it just triggers me so much)

The Lich King

Reading through this thread made me remember how much I miss the sorry emotes
I miss having the "Sorry" emote! :(

What mess have you summoned me to?
I don't really care at all, when opponent starts emoting I just squelch him.
