Firstly sorry for fail English. I have 120+ legendary cards and blizzard forcing me to play odd paladin, even paladin, murloc paladin...
I only play casual wild mode and aggression level is same as ranked mode. Every opponent i faced trying to win on turn 5-6. Will i ever be able to play my N'Zoth, the Corruptor, Frost Lich Jaina, Chameleos, Tirion Fordring? Nowadays Tar Creeper, Lightning Storm these kind of cards cannot stop the enemy. It is not a salty thread, i think casual mode should not give 10 golds for 3 wins. I just cant breath when i face 5 paladins in a row and then, secret mages, pirate warriors... I would not complain if i could see turn 8 but it is casual wild mode..
Blizzard is not forcing you to play any deck. It’s as blatantly obvious as that. If lightning storm isn’t enough, find a different answer because there are tons of different types of archetypes, ESPECIALLY in wild. The problem isn’t with blizzard, rather the problem is with your mindset.
How is it possible to enjoy a game that pathetic ? I mean, all these bms, these "greetings" just before lethal.. Rng and mulligan are more important than your own plays, matchmaking is terrible.. Want to play some control decks ? Say hello to towaggle druids, shudderwock shamans and cube hunters while all you faced today is odd pala, zoo and odd rogue. Climbing the ladder is so painful. I sincerily don't get how people can like that. Everytime you're one star away from the next rank (i mean rank 10, 5 or legend), the game gives you the worst hands, the worst possible draw. It happens at least 80% of the time. At everyone and you know it. Each time i spectate a friend it's the same story. You always have to try hard and change deck again and again to finally reach the next fucking level floor. Sick of druid too. Token, malygos, togwaggle, taunt.. How is it possible ? All those decks are strong. Every druid card is cheated. Armor (more than warrior LOL), draw, removals, mana cheating.. Absolutely no weaknesses. There are so much negative things to say about this game. Currently it's just not enjoyable. Sad and pathetic actually, as i said
Um... so why are you here exactly?
Probably getting the questgold and enduring the shit till next expansion, like me. When you have spend 2 years with a game and maybe even spend money it’s not easy to ‚just leave‘.
Stop playing casual because aggro douches have destroyed that mode. As for your question, yes i have fun with the game but only in ranked because winning matters there and believe or not people are so much less toxic as well. Casual is filled with idiots that are getting rekt in ranked and try to vent off their frustration to new players and to those who want to experiment.
I don't like it atm, too much diversity...some is good of course, but facing 25 wildly different decks in 30 games doesn't allow for players to tech their decks etc, because you're mostly just at the mercy of deck choice rng....it's great when you manage to hit that sweet spot and get favourable matchups but when you don't, it's just disheartening...
Hopefully they won't print any more cards that are just auto-win against certain decks, like Jade Idol, Shudderwock...I mean, combo decks are fine when there's counterplay opportunity other than SMOrcing them, but Shudderwock...you don't have to hold cards, don't have to play them in a specific order, it's just degenerate really.
I'm still gonna play the game since it's the only game I've played for the last 4 or more years, but it's not my favourite meta. Tournaments are a bit better since you can ban a deck/class, but the rock-paper-scissor problem translates into building lineups for that as well...and bo3 tournaments are a pure coin-toss.
Typically control decks counter aggro decks. Why don't you put your favourite cards in a deck together like Control Deathrattle Mage (a deck that existed a short period of time before N'Zoth rotated) and try to beat those aggro decks? Of course, you'll still lose to them every once in a while when they overwhelm you with enormous tempo plays or board states. But playing higher cost cards and control decks, in general, is definitely viable in Wild mode. I, for myself, play a lot of Renolock on the Wild ladder which is one of the strongest decks right now.
I'm on a lose steak right now. It's the 2nd day of lose streak, not even the 2nd lost game (2-3 wins of 10 games), it's 2nd DAY. Is it fun to play when u have already lost on muligan turn? - I guess no.

I wonder what deck are u playing that keeps u losing. Or are u rotating decks and keep on losing?
Since MSoG moved to wild, game became so much more fun. Druid is still way too popular, but as long as there is variety i'm happy. If the meta ever becomes as bad as it used to be, i'm qutting. During the peak hour of Jade Druid game was pure cancer, literally just one deck was on ladder.

I play every deck i have (mostly hunter and rogue). Funny thing is that i won most of the games with Wizbang decks and less with meta decks and this is the only funny thing. I dont really care about ranking, i got my rank 3, but im a bit tired of losing and being hardly countered every turn. salt thread xD
Yes, I absolutely love this game, and hope the digital format and simplicity means that it will last for decades, like MtG has. It's probably taken the trophy of my favourite game of all time at this point.

I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.
depends. like the OP, when I play several players in a row that just jam stats down and want to hit face as fast as possible, I'm on the edge of just giving up playing for the day. eventually someone comes along with a better collection and interesting ideas, and then we have a proper match that I enjoy.
there's a lot of good game in Hearthstone, just fuck knows what the developers agenda is. they make these very deliberate moves that can't be a coincidence (for example, Kazakus, Juicy Melon, aggro Shaman cards from the past like that Tuskarr thing, Bloodreaver) and it's like they want to ruin things sometimes and I can't figure out why.

''He traded sands for skins, skins for gold, gold for life. In the end, he traded life for sand.''
I enjoy it more or less - I don't like that they gave so many combo tools this expansion, even tho I don't meet that many combo decks I still hate the whole idea of my opponent being able to otk me at full health.
I also dislike what they did to arena - I felt arena was at a very solid stage with spells and epics being more common. This new bucket system and reduced chance for spells are trash.
Sorry if it sounds salty, but the whole question was about enjoyment of the game and these two factors are what reduced my game time by some. Love playing arena so these new changes kind of ruined it for me - still plays arena, but Im more annoyed by it now where I go 0/3 more than I have ever done.
The combo decks are just unfun to play against when you main control decks and don't really play aggro decks (to counter).
I'm hopefull changes will happen at some point to make arena more fun for me again and what goes for combo decks maybe we will see some nerfs or maybe we get proper neutral tools (Dirty rat) to deal with them as a control player next expansion.

Alyss
Do you have any evidence for that other than "aggro misplays"?
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP

I am having a lot of fun. Probably the most since I started playing.

Inb4 someone says Artifact will destroy HS. A better game doesnt mean it will be more mainstream

I only have fun when I spam emotes and BM.
Not at all. The most frustrating game there is. But addictive.
The game would be perfect if it wasn't for Juicy Psychmelon and Spreading Plague.
Standard was bugging me so I went to wild and it's refreshing to not see Baku or Genn at the start of the game.
Granted ImI very low ranking right now and maybe the higher I go the more same stuff I will encounter. But there's a lot of decks I wanna try now.
